The grass ain't green on the other side
it's just another lie from the government
best lock your doors and run and hide
cause the time of reaping's imminent

They promised all and delivered ****
just to keep in line the working man
now the fan's well and truely hit
and it's time to get up off the can

We gotta vote with out feet this time
we've gotta get our voices heard
penny for your thoughts, man here's a dime
you slew the eagle and gave us the bird

Capital punishment now that's a joke
cause it's done to us all each day
the man in the suit holds the yoke
and the bill of rights is to high to pay

Walk on walk out or just walk away
cause the land of the free's been taxed
and we can't watch the piper play
as the cherry tree gets once more axed

It's a lie it's a sin it's democracy
and we all know whose to blame
cause we voted him in with beauocracy
and hung our heads in shame
No offence America it kinda wrote itself

Teasing sweat with tongue
from forrowed brow
as you cry for release,
your bonds unseen
yet bind you still
as I give you no peace.
Tongue lips well practiced mouth
cause pleasure
close to pain,
and teeth join in
to graze the skin
as I taste of you again.
Subserviant my willing slave
my famine
and my feast,
I hunger still
and always will
for beauty for my beast.
Now bend and break
taste of my ache
my poison and my shame,
now buck and writhe
and feel alive
as I leave from where you came.

Romeo epitomised love
as he willing
died for it
he took the life he could not offer
openly to Juliet
and cast it down
beside her
hoping in death
they would know what life
denied them

forever

Don't look at me
I'm drunk tee hee
as ***** fills my veins
it was a blast
found peace at last
an end to all my pains
potato wine
sweet friend of mine
thy kiss promises sleep
so raise a toast
from coast to coast
to the vine they buried deep

The sun won't shine this morning
the clouds won't let him play,
they've covered him in mourning
and stole his warmth away.

The moon can't find her lover
and the stars fall as tears,
as the clouds thickly cover
the one she's sought for years.

The stars failed to console her
as darkness slow returns,
blown kisses to make better
the love the clouds have spurned.

She dreams of eclipses old
when they two were as one,
yet now she feels so cold
wond'ring where her love as gone.

Each new kiss
like the first
excites
and comforts me...

your soft touch
still makes me
ache
longing your embrace...

your sweet love
now as then
still
leaves me weak...

This morning
you awoke
in me
what had too long...

Been sleeping.

Take two glasses of wine
add one lit candle
a dash of soft music
a pinch of amour
and let simmer all evening

add kisses to taste

and voila

One romantic evening for two.
DieingEmbers Mar 2012
Last night
You touched me
without lifting a finger...

I heard I love you
from inanimate lips...

I felt comforted
without the feeling of arms...

for all I need is that look
you gave me...

The one that says

forever.

Can you not see I'm dying

no blade
no bullet
no poison down my gullet

no rope
no river
no liquer in my liver

no pills
no pillow
no stakes of sharpened willow

but I'm dying all the same...

dying

to be with you again

my love.

Barefoot I walk
the shifting sands
within your sleeping eyes
tracing I love you's
upon the shore
were I  but able to swim
within your tears
and enter softly your dreams
I would
for sleep steals from me
your kiss
your touch
your laughter
let me but kiss your shuttered eyes
and taste
you
my sweetest of dreams.

No silver bells nor cockleshells
no ring a ring a Rosie
just honest toil and English soil
to bring to you a posie

I miss you              I miss you

I'm feeling down
Just messing with Mary Mary quite contrary and ring a ring a roses

When I saw you it was winter
for my life was bare and cold,
and ice had covered both my hands
that no others ever hold.

When you smiled it was spring time
as the image warmed my soul,
and you came to me and led me
and taught me to be whole.

When you kissed me it was summer
and my body burned so pure,
as the perfume of your beauty
gave to me my life once more.

When you gave yourself came autumn
as you shed your outer layer,
and gave my soul the sustenance
of your love born of dispare.

When you left me it was winter
and the earth mourned just as I,
for if I said I'll always love you
then my love would be a lie.

For without there's no season
in which I wish to live,
so my love Ive come to join you
prayer my weakness please forgive.
For without you there's no season - will correct this line later sorry

To all BEWARE, don't climb the stair,
don't stumble tumble down.
For just behind the kitchen blind,
the SHADOWS roam the town.

They slide and glide, so run and hide,
promise me NO PEEPING.
Or they will see and believe me,
you'll wish you'd been sleeping.

Their fingers scratch the window catch,
and TAP upon the glass.
leaving their stain upon the pane,
as they so softly pass.

The sheets pulled tight hold back the night,
you're paralysed with fear.
You cannot speak, as floorboards creak,
to warn that they are near.

The door **** twists by unseen wrists,
the slowly pushed AJAR.
Your eyes grow wide as just outside,
you hear your daddy's car.

The Shadows wait for squeak of gate,
and your heart skips a beat.
As Daddy's voice, leaves them no choice,
as quickly they retreat.

Now check the hall and up the wall,
the ceiling and the floor.
But he has ran, that Shadow Man,
and wont come back no more.

So rest this night, be blessed, sleep tight,
let soft your night light GLOW.
To safely keep while your asleep,
from SHADOWS down below.

We are the tribes of midnight
that walk the hour glass sand,
with eyes forever open
as we seek the promised land.

We wear bed sheets of mourning
and pillows on ours heads,
as we ride lost together
upon worn out feather beds.

If you should see us coming
be sure to close your eyes,
or else be forced to join us
where nobody ever lies.
The last line as a double meaning

Would that this watch but knew it's face mocks me

It's miserly hands always clawing away at our precious time

Those ****** fingers always tap tap tapping, hurrying us along

No heart was ever as cold nor beat so unfeeling

Tis not miles that separate as harshly as time itself

Tick tock
**** that clock
stupid face why do you mock...

empty seconds
wasted hours
vases full
of wilted flowers

Pointed fingers
judging me
as grasping hands
won't set me free

Pendulum
without the pit
counts me a fool
with surreal wit

wooden case
unlined with silk
the stench of death
and soured milk

funeral dirge
in hourly toll
breaks my heart
destroys my soul

In a(na)log
I pen farewell
and spend my time
alone in hell

His hands stroke Her face so softly
with fingers long and slim,
enjoying every second
of her time alone with him.
syncronising heartbeats
as the minutes slowly flow,
he dare delay no longer
though she begs him not to go.
leather binds his left wrist
ribbon binds her right,
as the chimes announce it's morning
has again he says goodnight.
His watch says that it's five am
hers says midnight and no more,
as the time and distance part them
like a locked and bolted door.
Sometimes a wrist watch can cause such pain

The Ifs and buts and sighs and tuts
are all that fill my mind
the why's and when of now and then
have burned my poor eyes blind
the would and should and if I could
have broke me by design
the have and have not and I forgot
that you were never mine

encourage her as you all did me

Her tongue licking my lips
her fingers in my mouth
my bottom lip
pulled down
bitten
grazed and tasted
wet
my tongue in her mouth
my fingers tracing her lips
******* her tongue
lightly
her lips on my lips
my mouth on her mouth
Tongues lost in play
minds lost in passion
we two lost in one another
in the moment
tasted
joined
one.

Tis not with the eyes I see you
for they are blinded by your beauty
tis not by my touch I claim to know you
for they are fooled by your depth of gentleness
tis not by scent I recognise you
for perfume and creams mask thy fragrance
Tis with my heart I see you the true you
the you hidden awaiting to be found
tis with my words I claim you the real you
awaiting to be awoken with a kiss
tis with my soul I inhale you the only you
that awaits to imprint herself upon one

who is willing
to know the woman behind the mask.

He sails the seas in search of cheese
salt crackers and fresh bread,
pickles and jam and maybe ham
and apples green and red.

As salt waves Lap he checks his map
His compass points him east,
to cracked plate isle where with a smile
he hopes to find his feast.

He takes the oar and rows once more
past wrecks of sunken chips
where octopi with beady eye
swim slow beneath his ship

Beneath the calm a suckered arm
shoots out and grabs the sail
Struggling to stand his sword in hand
he strikes to no avail

As out the blue another two
take hold upon his boat
a crack a crash as others bash
he fights to stay afloat

His sword goes whack the arm pulls back
the octopus descends
Sobbing wet tears he reappears
and said can't we be friends

For I've no one for they've all gone
and left me here he said
So can we please travel the seas
in search of bread and cheese

Jacob said aye and winked his eye
and said this will be fun
Friendship he thought cannot be bought
it must with love be won

Friendship be said beats cheese and bread
laughter sweeter than jam
I wish you could feel half as good
and happy as I am
Working on latest Jacob pirate poem for publisher thought I'd run it by you for criticism .. In search of bread and cheese should be cheese and bread will edit later as not sure of final two stanzas

Instead of last two stanzas thought maybe this one

Jacob said aye and winked his eye
and offered him his paw
so with a smile to cracked plate isle
as friends they sailed once more.

be misread
as crime of fiction...

a book mark
