Nevermind Sep 2015
As the sun rose in the east
The wickedness of night began to cease
And all of those unholy deeds
Rumors on which the gossipers feast
Accusations later to be denied
Over cups of tea
Among knitting wives
And as the sun lowers in the west
The righteous and upright garner more to confess
Nevermind Sep 2015
Curse this heart that beats for me
And this brain that refuses to think
What a shame
A waste of space
Curse this life
Curse this name
Nevermind Sep 2015
Creeping silently out the front door
Inhaling the hazy summer night's air
Looking for excitement, maybe more
Shuffling down old porch stairs
Underneath the lamp post's light
The exhilaration hidden in the night
Like a swift wind we stole away
Looking for trouble masked by day
Nevermind Sep 2015
My skins got ribs
All neat in a row
Some criss cross
Others straight as a bone
My skins got ribs
But it's still pretty thin
Just a small cut
Continues to rip
And as I grip the flesh
And rip it apart
Giving you a perfect view
Of my beating heart
My skins got ribs
And when things get hard
I add a few more
They're my work of art
Nevermind Sep 2015
We raced the sunset
'Till the end of the earth
And jumped off the ledge
In a starry burst
It was pure ecstasy
To fall so free
And disappear
In an eye's blink
We became constellations
For the world to see
Passion glowing so bright
In bluish heat
Nevermind Sep 2015
After all the love I had to give
I would have never thought it'd end like this
Nevermind Sep 2015
Waiting for time that simply won’t pass
Stuck inside your hourglass
You’ve got me on your pocket watch chain
There’s no way out
There’s no escape
Surrounded by clocks
Sickened by their sway
Waiting for the pain
To go away
