but not heard
have you ever
listened to something so absurd

how can we take away
their freedom to speak up
to grow up as adults
so they can be confident

taking away or stiffling
this precious souls voice
is an unconscious decision
and gives them no choice

no choice to learn
from making their own decision
to adjust their course
to practice in revisions

what a world this will be
when we all learn to speak our own truth
respecting each others beingness
and being connected to our roots

A Soul's Perspective

soul is looking
for excitement and adventure
let's make a connection
so our soul can capture
the energy locked
in our fears and doubts
that's what the
adventure is all about
jump into the fear
and feel the emotions
reclaiming this power
of our souls devotions
there may be paradox
or confusion
not getting lost in it
will clear the illusion
our response to the fear
may be fight or flight
or maybe to freeze
reclaiming this energy is souls plight
the more energy we reclaim
expands our consciousness
and clears the way for our soul
to express its own uniqueness
so let's gather all the energy
that we can possibly embrace
freeing our souls
to get an adventurous taste

Total Responsibility

people come and go in our life
bringing us opportunities
to grow, if we so choose

understanding that there is
a part of me
that has created every situation
in my life

to sit in silence and focus inward
and say I'm sorry, I love you
healing within

this understanding goes beyond
logic and reasoning
it comes from the heart
and is taking
total responsibility

and connect to the light within

Five ~ I relax my shoulders and neck
and connect to the light within

Six ~ I relax behind my eyes
and connect to the light within

Seven ~ I relax the top of my head
and connect to the light within

Eight ~ I relax from my head to my toes
and connect to the light within

Nine ~ I relax in souls nurturing arms
connected to the light within

Ten ~ I relax in god's loving embrace
my light and his light are one

Inner Sense Of Peace

as the flowers blossom
sharing their essence
a sense of inner peace
resonates within us

a new born baby
warms our heart
a sense of inner peace
it does impart

the stillness of a tree
calms our breath
a sense of inner peace
felt in our depths

the birds are singing
their own unique song
a sense of inner peace
of which we do long

the breeze gently blows
refreshing the air
an inner sense of peace
for all to share

people living life
one moment at a time
an inner sense of peace
inwardly we align

with no judgment
we see the world
an inner sense of peace
will start to unfold

with no attachments
to any person, place or thing
an inner sense of peace
and freedom it does bring

with no resistance
to the isness of now
an inner sense of peace
in us it does endow
