what should i do?
what should i do?
Im in love with a goddess!
what should i do?
women are complicated as it is
and this one's a goddess
oh im so confused
what should i do?
should i recite poetry to her
and praise her beauty
should i talk to her all night
or take long walks with her on the beach
should i romance her with wine and music
or dance with her holding her close
should i give her roses or buy her shoes
should i snuggle with her at night
and kiss her gently
should i play ***** games with her
and share with her chocolates and strawberries..........
what should i do ? what should i do ?
im still so confused...........

The words sometimes come
from places unknown
making sense as i speak to myself
longing for the promise that has been made
i feel at unease all the time
it seems impossible like its not meant to be
the most beautiful love the most sacred thing
will never come to be

What I thought was my forever is now my past - crazy how this world works
You share dreams with someone and then they become your nightmare
Your soul wanders at night searching for theirs
Restless nights throughout
The journey never ends - tunnel seems to get darker, yet they say there's light at the end of every tunnel I used to want to look into your eyes until sun comes up, then only thing I'm getting is grey skies and a black moon.
I loved you from my skin to my bones, trying to runaway from the reality of your memories that have been planted in my mind, torture. The hallways of my soul still echo your name. The only sign of hope in me,is the ink I let ruin the paper with the words I'd say to you.

I’ve become fearful of counting sheep.
And the days don’t come easy.
Prevalence exists alone.
And mankind seems to be altered by a mood swing.

So when the winds stop flowing.
And this white colored precipitation melts away.
I’ll take off my jacket and wish my body the best.
Because there is no plain sight unless you’re blessing me with that smile.

So I’ll follow this worldly wonder and take my chance.
Carrying my posture better than a wooden plank.
Watching ideas grow off you like a garden full of life.
And when the right time arrives, I’ll ask you to dance.

Say yes.

Said the little boy, "Sometimes I drop my spoon."
Said the old man, "I do that too."
The little boy whispered, "I wet my pants."
"I do that too," laughed the little old man.
Said the little boy, "I often cry."
The old man nodded, "So do I."
"But worst of all," said the boy, "it seems
Grown-ups don't pay attention to me."
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
"I know what you mean," said the little old man.

Whenever you have
the opportunity to laugh,
laugh and whenever you have
the opportunity to dance,
dance and when you have
the opportunity to sing,
sing and one day you will find
that you have created your
own paradise.

Some see the basket half empty,
and others see it half full
while some see life as hopeless,
others hopeful but know
that gift of happiness
belongs to those who unwrap it
and know that the best thing
about the future is that
it only comes one day
at a time.

There is only one happiness in life
and that is to love and be loved
and the essence of life is
the conviction that we
are loved for ourselves as
happiness held is the seed
and happiness shared is the flower
and it is the songs you sing,
the smiles you wear that make
the Sun shine everywhere.

Take time to laugh
because it is the music of your soul
and understand that nothing
is worth more than this day
and the gift of happiness belongs
to those who unwrap it
and it can be yours
to stay.                              Jon York    2014

I was so beautiful to them,
they always relished
in the sweet-place I loved,
sacred & delicious.

I licked the dew off lotus petals
& they yelled to god,
actually screamed my name
in reverance,
talked about love
& the way I moved my tongue,
used my body in such
wonderful configurations,
meant to meet their wanton demands.

I was beautiful to them at least once,
but what white lies they did speak,
and sadly I'm a sucker,
a fall guy for liars,
who lie underneath,
spread themselves all over,
like smooth creamy butter.
