a pigeon, puffed up

Sometimes we suffer
and are overcome with grief
emotional pain
impossible to ignore
it consumes your conciousness
incompacitating you

try to see it from outside
and accept your emotion
understand your suffering
with compassion for yourself
like you would for your lover
that tender and that gentle
that sincere and devoted
then you will find bliss

now i am simple

i struggle and yearn
to walk in truth and reason
with love in my heart
