your voice in the night
a siren song waking me
chanting through the surf
beckoning and bewitching
pulling me out through the waves
deeper and deeper i slide
immersed within my obsession
i call your name futilely
then stumble and go under
drifting out to sea
Choka
a sturdy torso
a ***, two arms and two legs
transport my fat head
Senryu
your love was so deep
that it flowed under my walls
undercutting them
and causing them to collapse
it's no wonder that i love
fascinating you
riding in the rain
through misty lanes and puddles
with friends and laughter
Haiku
our technology
can stunt us physically
also mentally
through loss of initiative
but its' greatest sin is that
it can isolate us and
erode empathy

I'm scaredid grandpa
I don't like train, I don't like it!
"there, there, little man
it is only passing by
i know its' horn sounds too loud
but to be heard it must be
and when it is far away
doesn't it sound kinda sweet?"
I like it, that sound, grandpa.
"and so do i, my dear child
hush now, go to sleep."
Choka.
