I'm stuck between pages
Like you wouldn't know.
I've been here for days now
Trying to let go.
I'm stuck between pages
Trying to get past,
But this story doesn't continue
When the hero's out of gas.
I told you not to move on;
I told you not to wait.
I took you to the horizon;
I took you to your fate.
I told you that the future
Always trumps the past.
I told you that these days
Wouldn't be our last.
I'm stuck between pages
With no where else to go.
I've been here for days now,
Trying to let you know.

Every time I touch a controller
I set a new highscore
I said a new highscore.
Look out behind you, *******.
I capped that ***;
You should've watched your back.
Now I got an L-shaped block
Watch as I drop it in that L-shaped slot.
Haters gotta throw the blue turtle shell,
Because they can't keep their kart on Rainbow Road.
Donkey's going to throw some barrels at me;
Don't worry princess, watch me jump.
I promise I won't get hit, not even once.
Hey there champ look right here;
I just stuck a plas grenade
On you right ear.
Lucky shot? So you say.
Still watching me tea-bag you
From the grave.
Pilot Wings, Punch-Out, Mario
Madden, Sonic or GTA
It doesn't really matter
The number of pixels we play.
D-Pad or joystick,
Night or day,
It doesn't really matter how you play,
Put me on tron I'll blow you away.
Turtles in Time:
You take that next slice.
Even blindfolded your no match
For my SuperScope.
Tony Hawk, what a joke!
In Pacman or Galaga in space
Even with the Kunami Code
You've got no hope.
So the next time you hear
Scorpion yell "Get over here!"
Have no fear
A Sonic Boom will soon be there.
Busting out Atari's Pong?
Noob, I'll pwn you
One-thousand to none.
Hell, not even Parapa the Rappa
Can touch my rhymes.
Read those initials
That score is mine.
I said read those initials;
That score is mine.

First meant everything,
But it really means nothing
Unless your last too.

Beware as you march into the night,
For that is when the monsters come out.
They sleep during the day
Because they are afraid of the light.
The dark cloaks their faces
With a shield named anonymity.

I use my imagination
Like a drug of recreation
The master of innovation
It's always there
Keeping me away from reality
Knowing what it does to me
Takes away my fear.
A phoenix from the ashes,
Superman behind his glasses,
I'm invincible.
Guarding me from action
With my own distractions,
It seems sensible.

My mother's always saying
It's alright to cry'
But I'd rather
Put aside my feelings
And spend the dollars
To help myself get by.
My mother's always saying
'As long as you try'
Now I'd rather
Lose my ambition
And spend the dollars
To get myself high

And I know
The truth is leaving,
But to you
I can't say bye.
So I'll spend
A couple dollars
And use them to get by.
I know you think we're even
So don't believe that lie.
And I won't stop breathing
And I won't say 'die'
Instead I'll spend those dollars
And use them to get high.

If you think God is with you
You're in for a surprise.
He gonna leave us hanging
Like he left his son to die.
In the morning,
I'll be better
But tonight I'm getting by.
I'll spend those extra dollars
and use them not to die.

And I know
The truth is leaving,
But to you
I can't say bye.
So I'll spend
A couple dollars
And use them to get high.
I know you think we're better
So don't believe that lie.
And no, I won't regret her
And no, I won't say 'bye'
Instead I'll spend those dollars
And use them not to die.

When the morning gets here
I'll give it another try.
I'll stand up
And show I care
Enough to try.
When the morning gets here
I know I'll be better,
But tonight, I'll get my whistle wetter
And spend those dollars
To help myself get by.
Yeah, I'll spend those
Hard-earned dollars
To prepare for another try.

And I know
The truth is leaving,
But to you
I can't say bye.
So I'll spend
A couple dollars
And use them to not to cry.
I know you think we're even
So don't believe that lie.
And I won't stop you from leaving
And no, I won't not try.
Instead I'll spend those dollars
And use them to get high.
Yeah, I'll spend those dollars
And use them not to die.
Yeah, I'll spend those
Hard-earned dollars
To prepare myself for another try.
Yeah, I'll spend my blood-sweat dollars
To get myself on by.

These rhymes
Were designed
To do nothing
But give me Peace.
It’s not what you hear
Or what you see;
It’s what you perceive
That casts the lasting image
Of what life can be.
So the next time
That you get up,
Stand up.
And you might find
You can turn dots to lines.
Paint a picture,
Just use your mind.
It’s easy to be
What you want to be
Just follow the dream
Like it’s your destiny;
Make it a reality.
If it’s your dream
It ought to be.
So next time
Don’t just get up,
Stand up.
See what you want to see,
Turn that dream
Into a reality.
