When fed with the hypocrisy,
And stuffed with copious mendacity,
You can expect smelly idiocy,
From the place common sense never shine.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2013
Drenched in flavours,
Of many colours,
I smell hues that make me blush,
Leaving my face, high, in crimson flush!
Dada Olowo Eyo Nov 2015
I will **** love tonight,
Because it killed me first,
I have lost the fight,
Because it took away my thirst.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2013
Locked in a frenzy,
Pores dripping like crazy,
She burns me with oohs! and aahs!
Lifts me far, beyond, the twinkling stars.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jun 2019
Hot love melted my heart,
Like a knife you ran through,
But you were never true,
Dressed in white, yet wore a black hat.
Dada Olowo Eyo Aug 2019
If it's not the same to you,
I wouldn't like a moment,
A lifetime is what we can do,
So quit acting, no need to comment.
Dada Olowo Eyo Mar 2014
When love is over the sea,
And it is hard to see,
Reason in letting burn,
Feelings for a one long gone;

Even with shut eyes,
And these are no lies,
I behold you,
Glowing in colours fine and true;

But time has worn thin,
That special thing,
For a while, we both shared,
But never said, how, we truly cared;
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2015
Bless me with your vengeance,
Curse me with your love,
I seek no repentance,
From hell, or from heaven above.
Dada Olowo Eyo Dec 2018
Gruesome, gory happenings in the land,
One day, one dismembered body,
Young boy, teenage girl, old woman,
Just any unlucky fellow would do;

So, as the Yuletide rolls in,
And the lust for money fills the air,
Maddened fiends take to dark alley ways,
To make a killing to pleasure their desires,

This fetish is about a crazed notion,
That offering cadaver to the devil,
Brings instant riches and wealth,
Often promoted by lazy myths and indolent legends;

No one is safe,
Anymore than we truly were,
But the season triples in the letting of blood,
Enriched by psychopaths running amok;

Everyone prays here,
Like they have any other choice,
Their safety is in the hand of GOD,
As security agencies continue in perpetual failure.
Ritualistic murders of people have risen to all time highs this period in Nigeria. Daily the people are confronted by pictures of people beheaded and body parts taken for whatever reasons. It is unfortunate that the Nigeria Police only rushes to parade suspects and never taken painstaking time to actua;;y investigate reasons behind these unholy acts. Christmas and New Year celebrations are around the corner and many will go to evil lengths to just to make an impression. SAD.

Motorised thunder,
Tearing the forests assunder,
Death lay in their wake,
And the fear, no, 'tis not fake.
Literal translation: Western education is evil. This group has continued to pillage, abduct, destroy and **** innocent Nigerians. They have intensified their terrorist cruelties since President Goodluck Jonathan assumed power. BUT THEY CAN ONLY TRY. THEY CANNOT **** US ALL. WE WILL WIN.
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2018
There is no one like Hadassah to me,
No matter how pretty she may be,
I have won the only place in her heart,
Where only death can do us 'part.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jun 2014
The kitchen, oh, I hate the kitchen,
He sits there, waiting to eat chin-chin,
So tired after a long, hard day,
I'd sit like a princess, if I had my way.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jun 2014
Who owns the kitchen,
Or pays for the room?
Who works the broom,
Or goes in to fry the chin-chin?
Dada Olowo Eyo Mar 2018
For my dearest little one,
All the wonders the eyes can read,
All the magic the tongue can taste,
Now, is there anything better?
My one year and 3 months old daughter receives her first hard copy library.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2020
Wake,
Eat,
Love,
****.
COVID-19 routine.
Dada Olowo Eyo Sep 2020
Some sense, maybe?
But to enslave generations?
Certainly should be in the options,
Old fool acting like a **** baby.
People borrow to explore the possibilities of turning their business ideas into empires of world renown. But here we are, after writing many generations into poverty, they come out to lamely defend the indefensible with poorly thought out stupidity.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2019
So, how far would you go,
To experiment your own conviction?
How far down river would you row,
To experience reality of the other's  contrition?
Dada Olowo Eyo Aug 2019
The heart of a woman,
Deep, dark and unfathomable,
Only the bravest venture it's depths,
Of innumerable illuminating experiences.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2013
Will you allow yourself be used?
A great mind such as yours?
Would you for money go on all fours?
And upon society become terror loosed?

Do not allow yourself be used,
Let all positive forces be fused,
Render all political bigots confused,
Tell them to use their offspring instead; we are no longer amused.
Political play in my country brings tears on many occasions.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2013
Walk out on your dreams,
And others will walk straight into them,
Yes, you swim dark, sorrowful streams;
There are those who've made dams out of 'em.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2019
A man whose time has come,
His darkness shines brighter than the morning,
Shadows are always running,
As success is the new morning.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2019
Gloomy days are behind us,
The longest nights of fright,
Sweaty inbetweens,
And uncertain mornings;

Today the sun shine,
On her angelic smile,
Ran around on pretty feet,
And gave the warmest embraces.
My two years old daughter fell ill when she began growing new molars. The period, for me, was end-to-end worry, my wife was stronger.

Then she turned the corner and being the bravest two-year-old ever, she did so with vigour and so much Joi de vivre!
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2013
Bear with me, my sweetness,
My heart is tied to another,
There just cannot be another,
Farewell, but forgive me this mess.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2013
Each day’s the same,
The night’s wet pillowcase;
The morning brings in the shame,
Same time, every time, same place.
Difficult when the heart's in a very lonely place
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2013
She smells like chocolate,
Like lovely, dark chocolate,
Yes, my taste buds can relate,
To this sweetness nobody can hate.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jul 2019
Chew, chew, chew, bloooooooooow,
Filled with nothing, but air,
You should know, life's not fair,
There are pins that make things go pow!
Dada Olowo Eyo Aug 2019
The little one kicks,
Mom knows it's little tricks,
But when it's a little silent,
She offers a little prayer for what the heavens sent.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2019
Here we are,
And you, over there,
Between us a misconception,
But alas! we destroyed the only interpretation.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jan 2015
In the name of whom?
For the protection of what?
Are they now impotent?
The unseen beings in the heavens?
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2013
Daily, the conductor bellows,
"Enter with your change!"
Echoing the opinion of his vocal fellows,
Then disembarks passengers outside the range.
Dada Olowo Eyo Nov 2019
Those that scrutinise can't do,
Wishing it was theirs,
Even when I poo,
They point out their worst fears.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jan 2021
Beyond the gates of that year,
Consider the heavens played a part,
Be you lucky to have crossed,
A crossing quite significant into a new start;

Because not many will be there,
Not a few succumbed to our fears,
Of the sheer wickedness of the past,
Eight horrible years of blood and tears;

Whether it be a fortune,
Only time will indeed unfold,
For there's actually something here,
A better story waiting to be told.
To every Nigerian reading this in 2023 sometime after February and then in May, congratulations on being alive to see what may be a rebirth. It is my earnest prayer that Nigerians all stood for something and didn't fall for anything these demons from the pit of Gehenna sold to you, again, in advancement of their terrible agenda to perpetuate the cycle of injustice and misfortune.
Dada Olowo Eyo Feb 2019
It thus happened upon us,
That fate be kind,
Crowning our heads,
With men of authority;

Many be angry with us,
That we ride in treated vehicles,
Chauffeured by armed guards,
And dining with golden spoons;

But they close their minds,
To the ways of the gods,
That bestow opulence,
Unto whom they so please.
In the defense of the wives of the elites of that country called Nigeria, their husbands are mere puppets.
Dada Olowo Eyo Sep 2019
The picture I painted,
Of you, in my head,
And what I see before me,
Can only be best imagined.
Dada Olowo Eyo Sep 2014
Ego nailed to boot,
Sow to this precious root,
Your coin will travel,
Far to our place of marvel.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jan 2015
The rich become even richer,
And the poor are no better,
Life is a rat race,
And you steal plenty, just in case.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2016
The drums of secession,
Beat cold fear across the land,
Visions of peace are in recession,
As the south east threatens to leave the band.
The revived clamour for Biafra & recent killings of Igbos in Enugu by Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria threaten the peace.
Dada Olowo Eyo Sep 2019
You took something from me,
And wish to be left with yours?
How degenerate can you be?
****** low life, cursed on all fours.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jul 2018
Offer me,
Something new,
A thing  beyond,
The boring ordinary.
Dada Olowo Eyo Nov 2013
The moon was crescent,
Shining on the lake,
It's a chance I must take,
With you, my heaven sent.
Dada Olowo Eyo Sep 2019
Anger mixed with fear,
Is recipe for frustration,
One screams revolution!
And the other turns a deaf ear.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2019
The complexes that afflict my sensory synapses,
And the torments that assail my mental I'm balances,
All contribute to the ambivalence of my tough processes,
And the unwillingness of my backside leaving the soft mattresses.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jan 2015
Many odd years,
The same salty tears,
Nothing ever transforms,
Even with several reforms.
Dada Olowo Eyo Jan 2020
Come, break my heart,
I have no use for it,
Set my walls apart,
Here, come have a seat;

You can shoot me in the back,
Take your best shot,
My life is a huge hack,
Job, poorly written plot;

So, here I am, vulnerable,
The best chance you ever get,
No, I am undesirable,
Do me quick, and then forget.
Things we say versus what we really mean.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2019
Unnaturally alluring,
Enticing, designed to be,
Then every cell disagrees,
Metastasising is every weird degree.
Dada Olowo Eyo Oct 2015
When mother screamed at me,
Father broke into a wide grin,
By heavens, I am not sixteen!
My bald head should indeed make me free!
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2016
Weaned on bullets,
Suckled on blood,
AK47's are loving pets,
And snuffing lives is nothing odd.
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2020
Coconut,
Heads,
In,
Power.
A small device created to stand against reason - found in many African countries.
Dada Olowo Eyo May 2019
If we actually did stand,
Every time we felt like taking a seat,
We would have saved time otherwise,
Spent on benevolent knees.
Dada Olowo Eyo Apr 2020
Glory to the most high!
For our mist is gone!
Once, we had fogged up sky!
But now a crystal tone!

Many thanks to lockdown,
Who knew... who knew...,
Took a ride downtown,
'Twas as good as new;

The earth breathes again,
Celestial messages coming through,
Unhindered by polluted refrain,
Everywhere the skies are blue, true;

Sadly, man won't continue this way,
For as soon as this enemy is defeated,
Renewed rat race takes over the day,
And the dark night continues unlimited.
Industrial nations marvel at post lockdown images, after COVID-19 forced many exhaust to go quiet.
In decades, people haven't seen the true colour of their firmament, always covered in dense fog; testament to their unrelenting and powerful industry.

It's a miraculous marvel they'll enjoy albeit for a short while, as the race is on to eliminate COVID19 from the face of the earth.

The year twenty-twenty is indeed a year of interesting occurrences.
