Cold, cold afternoon,
Such and such crossed my mind,
For hours keeping me in a bind,
Now hope I see in the rising moon.

The days you held my hand,
Told me I was beautiful,
But now you lay beneath the sand,
Leaving me behind, unsure, and sorrowful.

Liberation glittered on the horizon,
My head pounding crimson,
I could see through the tunnel,
As I floated down the funnel.

Felt so much power,
Although I swung lower,
I could reach higher,
Although I still walked slower.

You suffocate me,
Pressure me on all sides,
But I remember the joyful rides,
Now all I want to do is...just flee.

For every hand you withhold,
My heart has grown stronger,
I can fight longer,
You don't need to be told.

You're a shooting star against the darkened sky,
You're a red rose in a sea of white lillies,
You're a breath of fresh air in this stale world,
You're a gold nugget in a dark coal quarry.

This decent lady,
Courted by all and sundry,
She'll turn out fine,
Getting better, like maturing wine.

Love is a strong thing,
Mothers labour for it,
Men take the heat,
It defines the human...being.

It's a done deal,

I smelled a flower,
It reminded me of you,
The well-formed petals were wonderful,
And the aroma, made me, want to have, a shower.

I soar, today, in the spirit,
My heart thuds sweetly,
Big smile as I cross the street,
My soul, dancing, ever so joyfully

My soul aspires,
To heights unfathomable,
A place where all spiritual desires,
Are laid, bare, on godly table.

Unchained consciousness,
Freeing my thought processes,
Walking the path,
Avoiding His wrath.

To deny myself, pleasures;
That still, small voice,
Instructing I thirst in seven measures,
That I take ashes, as weapon of choice

Moodle foodle woodle,
Toodle roodle poodle,
Noodle boodle hoodle,
Loodle yoodle zoodle.

A good heart,
But in the wrong place,
That beautiful face,
But how did this start?

The good ones have been taken,
The pretty ones don't want me,
As far as I can see,
No better off than forsaken.

She smells like chocolate,
Like lovely, dark chocolate,
Yes, my taste buds can relate,
To this sweetness nobody can hate.

A situation of panic,
Heart skips by the second,
All because I bought a bond,
That I must pay, in full, nine to nine, every week.

Between love and scorn,
Lies the heart of a woman,
Make haste, turn her on,
Lest hell's embers, you foolishly fan.

Tired faces shuffle home,
Unsmiling countenances,
Irritated by impoverished nuances,
Stress, like a hanging, stifling dome.

Who we are inside,
That inner person,
Those things done without reason,
Evils, desperately, we want to hide.

Then snaked her hand,
Between the mountains,
Pleasures like delicious rains,
Caressing ***** grains of sand.

Moments of hot air,
Oh, there I go again,
The same, old refrain,
Whoosh! Until...there's nothing there.

And when my love floats away,
Be the string to reel me in,
These moments are hot air anyway,
Human nature, wanting something, unseen.

The fever that held me bound,
When you promised me that kiss,
Oh, I waited, heart racing, for you to come around,
It was wet, it was sweet; and I am glad, I did not miss.

Blue eyes, she's got blue ice,
Most beautiful things I've ever seen,
Her heart's where I'd have been,
If only, only if, she didn't take, the colder highs.

When it all gets too much,
I run into Sanctuary,

Beautiful one; oh, see her shine,
Gracefully, she struts like the gazelle,
Gifted, with proportions that are divine,
This one, she is more than the belle.

From whence art thou cometh,
Oh, beautiful gazelle?
For since mine soul hath liveth,
Never before, set eyes, on such a belle.

Her curves fascinate my eyes,
They float across her perfect lines,
Drinking in mesmerising contours,
Fantasizing going through her magic doors.

Going through the files of my life,
All the scrapes, near misses, and strife,
It is a wonder I still can find my way,
To a directory full of sunshine, beautiful,  everyday.

Death's too much a luxury,
Alive, suffer and gnash your teeth,
Enjoy the wealth of penury,
Wishing yourself hell, whenever you breathe.

She did win the war,
With a single blow of peace,
She prayed all evil cease,
And with love, she did open the door.

A thatch of forest;
Green, welcome rest,
All around, as far as the eyes can see,
The dead and dying, spread out like the endless sea.

Beauty begets the shine,
Grace, strutting gazelle,
Gifted, earthly divine,
Beauty wraps the belle.

Divided from within,
Torn by rumours and avarice,
Children grow into selfish service,
And hearts are closed to love and sharing.

Wiggly, wiggly Wollie,
Mattie makes monkey muffins,
Bad breaks blows buskins,
Pitching Patrick past Pollie.

I have stared hunger in the face,
Many a time it breasted the tape,
Left out of breath in this rat race,
Constantly fighting this starving ****.

She belongs to someone else now,
Why give yourself high blood pressure?
She did not see you in her future,
Curtains! Take a bow!!

Alien to me, is this falsity,
Always in difficult straits,
My mind oscillates between states,
Of rotten conscience and loyalty.

I bear this terrible pain,
Hanging like a terrible yoke,
I cannot see through this ****** pane,
Fate, it has dealt me, this unfortunate stroke.

Locked in a frenzy,
Pores dripping like crazy,
She burns me with oohs! and aahs!
Lifts me far, beyond, the twinkling stars.

Oh, without you, I'd cease to live,
I am nothing if you leave,
This, my love, you must believe,
None other, can my heart, conceive.

All but forgotten,
The world's back on me,
They told me I was rotten,
But through new eyes, you, make me see.

Still I see you in my dreams,
You taunt me, and jeer,

Light morning drizzle,
Wet Wednesday wizzle,
