Here we are,
Living within our horizon,
Oblivious of the beyond things,
Images startling to the senses;

And opportunity meets resources,
Things fall into place,
Aboard the wings an eagle,
Off to see the things beyond.

Wallowing in the ruins of failure,
Fate has left me no joy,
Deserted by all goodwill,
I am here, alone and destitute.

They cast the die,
It was no lie,
Left me on the lowest high,
Plucked from the damnedest sky.

The sun, it rises upon my defeat,
And sets deliberately upon my immense sorrow,
Daily I wallow in miserable agony,
Drown I, a thousand times, in cheerless wantonness.

Tattered dreams inflicted my senses,
They robbed me of sweet sleep,
I lay awake, midnight, trembling,
Fearful of the shameful morning.

In love with their oppressors,
Their poverty sponsors,
Unwilling to break their fetters,
Duped by serial fake love letters.
The Nigeria people are too afraid to demand for better existence from their government. Choosing, always, to take the easy road of 'siddon look' in matters that require spontaneous revolution. SHAME.

This  supernaturally occurring piece,
Of magically designed wonder on two feet,
Brings to me everything, and peace,
So, to drown in this love, is a welcome feat.
