I am at at the bottom of the ocean
Baffled how I am still breathing
Wondering how I transcended
Viewing the world with 20 thousand leagues
Of liquid obstruction to distort my view
I am at the bottom of the ocean
The world does not pause
No one will toss me a line
It is my choice
Surrender to this aquatic haze
And possibly drown
Or belligerently swim to normalcy
The saltwater clouds my mind
I am at the bottom of the ocean
I read this to a realist. She said, "Yea, you're tired." Oh' to view the world as a realist.

Many things enchanting
convey no meaning,
even if you think-
there indeed is something.
Isn't it bit frustrating?

Life springs surprises on us
this is how it is:
strangers, meet at some point,
find love, and become sweethearts.
Isn't it wonderful?
Then, you sometimes wonder
why, the opposite also should happen,
without any rhyme or reason?

It's such a pain, death of love,
doubt, difficult times of strife,
we loose all we gain,
you have enough time, consider this:
precious genes get eroded and be gone.
A river.You watch with a fervor
not easy to express.The flow
makes one exhilarated beyond words.
And then comes summer.Drought
The flow now, is a story told in the past.
Water now becomes scarce.Trickle
The story drastically changes.

We've been in love, I remember,
even the thought, gets me rejuvenated.
Dead trees become active,
new sprouts appear, sap flows with vigor,
leaves regain the lovely green smile.

This too happen as a rule,
tired leaves turn brown,
slowly they let go and fall down,
become one with the earth.
Transform in to nutrients
in a chemical change.

frantic
hands ripping through air
reaching for a grasp
on your sadness

I have been
will be
am
enraptured in your temperature.
contented in contempt
for your fairytale past
impossible
to impact

yet coveting the forbidden
taste
of imprints
in your reality
sparks a dorment sentiment
of such coarse,
rough reciprocity

tempting taste of your bliss
come close
and through shifting smoke
we can descend into
crude togetherness

I am fast asleep, fully clothed, with the lights
on. My eyes open with my mouth ajar.
I would look dead if I didn't
**** and roll. Wrestling with me.
Struggling with my own mind
Sometimes I hold onto
a pillow because
I miss
sanity.
My first Nonnet!
