I'm looking for an escape
Something to take me away
To fulfill my purpose
I follow the light
Only to find darkness
This feeling I'll never surpass
Will consume me
I want to keep the dreams alive
But I know I'll never be enough

explore the world around me
and find something that truly astounds me.

Impatience

If not him,
then who?

then where?

If not now,
then when?

My mind is buzzing with the impatience
of a hummingbird jumping from flower to flower.

*I need a new compass. Mine is broken.
