In twists & curls winding down her curves,
skin, sweet flesh; drink in life,
revitalize me in her night;
held captive by the way the ebb & flows undulate
sneak a glimpse of love's pure bliss
in a kiss, tranquil and light.

HALF close your eyelids, loosen your hair,
And dream about the great and their pride;
They have spoken against you everywhere,
But weigh this song with the great and their pride;
I made it out of a mouthful of air,
Their children's children shall say they have lied.

The lighter side of the dark
is mostly reassuring
Though I haven't figured out
the things I should be doing
Calm and collected..

Winter is coming
Bright lights and silver linings
Golden memories
endless whispers of slight breeze
End of fall
is like a sand in an hourglass
in constant motion
hurrying down till it's gone
Like the season
that changes in a moment
Inevitable as it seems..
Cover your eyes
and you will see
Read the signs and pay attention
Just don't ask me questions
because I don't know
Come let's discover
Good vibrations..

Endless nights of playing a game
Pleasurable fights, all the same
Arrogant fathers sending their spies
Plausible faith based on sensible lies

Tumble out of bed and greet regret
Stumble outside, light a cigarette
Take a drag and consider what to say
Redundant motion on a recurring day

With each turn I meet a well-known face
How could I not while I reside in this place
It is hard to tell if I am awake.
The line is dead that parted real and fake

Sleep, darling
I have a small
daughter called
Cleis, who is

like a golden
flower
I wouldn't
take all Croesus'
kingdom with love
thrown in, for her

---

Don't ask me what to wear
I have no embroidered
headband from Sardis to
give you, Cleis, such as
I wore
and my mother
always said that in her
day a purple ribbon
looped in the hair was thought
to be high style indeed

but we were dark:
a girl
whose hair is yellower than
torchlight should wear no
headdress but fresh flowers

Upon reflection,
we are the source of all tears,
as if naked,
alone,
in an infinite sea,
backpedaling,
breast stroking,
with a limitless blue sky
the only encouragement,
to remain afloat.

I heard a cry in the night,
A thousand miles it came,
Sharp as a flash of light,
My name, my name!

It was your voice I heard,
You waked and loved me so—
I send you back this word,
I know, I know!

The day I learned what zero gravity was,
I went to the fair and I rode all the rides,
and I followed people that I didn't want to be with.

We all ate the same food with the same forks,
spinning until it hurt our cheeks to smile anymore,
then we tried to walk, even though we knew people were dying for our country.

When I got hurt you gave me two generic band-aids
and they wouldn't stick onto my ****** hands,
the shaking might have had a little to do with it,
but not that much.

I'm sorry that I got the phone wet when I was shaving my legs,
I just didn't want to stop laughing,
it felt too good.

So, I hope you get this message,
okay, bye.
this is the beginning of a series.
