I hate this pounding thought in my mind.
Needing clarity, but held down by the vines in the fog covered forest.
Always thought you wouldn't leave me to wayside and yet...
Departed, you left me to rot in this trap.
Enabling you forward, I don't even fight back.
Quite overwhelms me, and my body begins to ache.
Underneath the silence, my chest finally breaks .
All alone, no one can see the lonely soul.
Crawling out of the body, in hopes to find her beloved.
You.
Not my best written piece, but probably my most blunt.
Beauty awaits him,
on his way to see his love,
sky at dusk presents
eternity's handiwork,
glimpses of truth beyond words
flashes in his mind,
banishing all other thoughts,
he stands transfixed.
what we saw was the mountain not the road
and so mistook the task and were dismayed
but still plugged onward though we were afraid
each of us frightened bearing a great load
of doubt and sorrow though it might explode
the peak above us could only persuade
our simple hearts that we were half decayed
yet we  walked on with hope our one sharp goad
so what we did was make it the whole way
not without pause and not without much pain
since stubborn hearts refused all other choice
to look from summit at a brighter day
with backs all straightened once relieved of strain
and spirits freed to sing and to rejoice
In my book of memories,
a girl wrote a poem, long ago,
*reading it alone, going back to the page,
the meaning gets upside down.
Battered by the waves of life, bone tired,
I enter the chamber of  long night, to sleep naked;
*In a dream she comes, my dark maiden
waiting to take me to the last forgetfulness

mads
Calmly laying in a coffin... practicing my speech for when the Devil and I meet.
I dunno..?
You are the cure
                       and the disease.
all of the things you brought out of me
shouldn't have left their first home
a stone that was buried under the sea
floats to the surface - atoned

every confession rolls like a wave
crashing itself into veins
of bodies inside the watery cave
shallowly rendering stains

trade me your drink, i'll pass you my wine
sip what you can and let go
the chalice will break and bind you the time
needed to capture the flow

hold out your hands and see what they caught
diluted versions of me
which of us found what they had sought
which of us lost reality
