I am amongst a frantic
silent
period

Everyone is busy
with numbers in their head
a pen gripped firm, where all the magic begins

Scribbling down notes
a tangled mess of formulae
buttons of assistance…the
calculator, what would they do
without them?

Nor do I question the purpose of time
the economy
it all makes us whine

Ah, forget it
I am amongst a frantic
silent period

this poem to pass time
this “poet”,
failing another grind

The universe had flattened into a thin sheet,
And the black sea of destiny unfurled from the movements we made.
Your eyes penetrated through mine, ever so sweet.
While the galaxies rumbled in a plangent parade.
Your body touched mine.
The universe a vacuum; a canvas for our passion.
I felt divine,
The spiral of the planets dash in.
My breathe was short as you felt your way, urging close to bliss.
I bit my lip so hard it bled.
I lunged at the chance to capture this.
Your hands held my hair above my head.
Oh, the power to touch a star in bed.
And when you're across the room from me,
I will blink and kiss you with my eyelids.
I will brush my hair behind my ears,
and without touching you I will run my hand
across your shoulders, a silent reassurance.
And when you are far away, and cannot see me,
I will dream and you will know it's about you,
you will feel my body mold to yours
thousands of miles away, and you will know,
always,
that this is what friends are for. I will comfort you
with my hands, and when my hands aren't close enough,
I will hold you in my heart, delicately, like broken glass.

The one-eyed man
With his one-finger hand
Told me the one secret to life

Live by twos
And find two truths
And hopefully, never find two lies

Three people can join
While three can soil *****
And three pairs of pants will be needed

Four mistresses
Take four distresses
And pop four pills a piece

Five dollars is all you need
For five pound of speed
To do, for five days, about nothing

Six skin flicks
With six dude-chicks
Make six uncomfortable scenarios

Seven is what you need
Seven of the kindest deeds
And then you'll find perfection in seven.
Mentally, started with the first 3 lines, wanted to continue with numbers, this is what I got.
To faded hugs
Worn and frayed over time
To the smiles and laughter
Lost in years gone by

To pinky promises
Vowing a friendship forever
I realize now
There are some storms we can't weather

To that mischievous grin
That melted my heart
The one that I'll miss
As we spend time apart

To the effortless love
I still feel when we touch
To the one-sided lust
That became all too much

To the memories growing fonder
More contrived and cliché
To the determination I have
Claiming we'd be okay

For years this has been
An intense tug-of-war
With our hearts on the line
I can't take anymore

So goodbye to you
And the road that we've paved
I'll forever cherish
The memories we've made

A text from me to you,
explaining my actions
out of anger were untrue.
I'm sorry.

A month has gone by,
such a long time,
for silence.

I'm surprised to read,
that in your reply
you feel the same way.

Also admitting that it must be hard,
for me, to deal with such a difficult person (you).

A *****, I would call it,
But calling it difficult
sounds more noble.

Then you send,
"Do you want to get coffee?"

Glad you made an effort
to try and spend some time together.

But I was busy,
and I told you tomorrow.

Then the next day
you never did reply.

You told me you wanted to get coffee,
but you blew me off instead.

You never fail to disappoint me.
I guess you can't make time

for an old friend.

A perfect relationship is brought down by a single flaw;
Broken and shattered into pieces that lay upon the floor,
Like puzzle pieces that don't quite fit together anymore.

A flawed relationship stands tall against a single flaw;
Filled with much wisdom only taught by age,
Like a ripped and tattered old book page.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A fool believes a perfect relationship is a big deal;
Imperfections are what make a relationship real.
I heard a heart beat
When I crossed the street,
And  I saw a face,
Who longed for an embrace.
A strange entity
Unknown identity
Traveller of infinity
Some sorth of divinity,
Spoke to me the unspoken.
A silent word
Sharp as a sword,
Threw his heart on a sward
Of human sins stored
Like prayers to the Lord -
Words of the silent.
And so his skin
Brilliant, pure, porcelain
Will fade between
The heartaches all around,
Not one tender look is found
Beneath feelings without a sound.
A whisper on his ear,
Surrounded by the fear,
A heavy cold atmosphere
Like a deep pierced spear
Hurting words of someone dear.
He stops and stares breathlessly,
Cries and shouts painfully:
*“The world has changed so dreadfully!
The hearts can no longer bend
Shards and pieces fall endlessly
All there's left in this tranquility
Is the Hopeless, the Unspoken, the Condemned …”
