This..our true Lens
Has been shaded by
Life-long beliefs and
conditioning..
A lens of separation
Depicting subject and object
Whole and parts
Good and bad
Seems to be our perception..

In pockets of history
There are those who
Have always known the
Availability of the Lens
But most of us..alas
Have not inquired
On how this Lens
Might be recognized..

We are cautioned that
Such Recognition is the
Only path to Freedom...

This..our true Lens
Has been shaded by
Life-long conditioning..
A lens of separation
Depicting subject and object
Seems as our means of
Perception..
In pockets of humanity
There are many who
Have known the
Availability of the Lens
But most humans
Have not asked the
Question of how this
Lens may be recognized..
Such Recognition is the
Path to Peace
in our time..

We view with admiration
This creative approach
Of artistic expression..
It seems quirky to some
But might we not say that
All art is composed of
Found art objects..?
The object may be
Something on a beach
Or a pile of trash
Or a sudden thought
Seemingly from nowhere..
Might it appear as the
Next brushstroke or a
Word on this paper..?
It seems that all real art
Is 100% made of
Subtle or not so subtle
Objects found in this
Moment...!

The silence between
Each word we say
Each note we play..
Sleep between dreams..
Attention to gaps
Or rather..falling into
The gaps..is recognizing
Our Home..the placeless
Place..from which we
Have never departed...

There is a wellspring
From which all religions flow
Which when recognized
Diminishes the rancor
Over the outward forms
Which have torn
And bloodied adherents
Now and in history's
Telling..

And the amazing thing
Is that this wellspring
Is the same Wellspring
Which you and I
Need to recognize in
Our inquiry of
Who we really are...!

A turning of the tables
In the temple
Brought a new understanding
Of the real Temple of the body
Which needs to rise and discover
Its true nature made of Grace..
This is the reversal which will
Bring Self recognition and
Accompanying peace to each of us
And to our world..
This Recognition is the real miracle  
Conveyed by the familiar story of
Water into wine...

A world of separate objects
Has been the province of science
For centuries following centuries..
But now an occasional shudder
Cast by an uneasy perception
That our roots in separation
Have been only a useful dream..
The dream has turned sour
And has drawn a darkened film
Over eyes..eyes seeking  
Understanding in the shadows..
New discoveries find Fields
Of openness and not-knowing
Leading a few scientists to
A science cleared of slumber...
