You didn't pick up and answer the phone!

I may not have time, I am going away.
I went to the store and back again.
You told me to call you but" WHEN"?
I will try to reach you later today
If I am still here and not go away
Your answering machine says "Hello We're not here!
When should I call you ? Maybe next year?

Watered down Ketchup now at Fast food place.
We told the manager to get back in the race      
I like my Ketchup very thick.                                
Was he trying to play a ***** Trick?                    
So I will go back there just once more.              
If the Ketchup is watered we are out the         door.

Grandmother

I miss her for unknown reasons
We were never close
She is just link to history
But she was fun and comfortable
Made great chicken and noodles
I guess she was a life line
Sewing our family fabric together
From me to dad to her
Gave me a sense of continuity
A pathway backward and forward
I think it was a two way street
Especially when my daughter was born
As she was slipping away
