I like you.
Or at least I like who I am when I'm with you.
When I look into your eyes,
I'm on a different planet.
I've always liked you...
Even before everyone else did.
I still do...
And I don't know if its worse if you know,
Or worse if you don't.
your arms are etched
with red and black
they're the story of summer that I look back
on

have i forgotten the sound of the waves
the soft of the cushion
the games that we played

we learned different strategy
and sing different tunes
my only regret is
that i missed the moons

which marked all the hours
of the days that we spent;
we didn't know curses
we didn't pay rent

the days idled wildy
the nights sauntered on,
your arms tell the story
of the summer that's gone

An acid washed version of myself.
Worn and torn.

The fatal girl.

Everyone tries, no one buys.
Passed around,
lost aroma.

Terminally insecure.

Pushing towards nothing.
Striving for the unattainable.

Nothing is actualized.

The skin fades,
exposing deep blue veins.
They seep to the surface.

Vulnerable flesh.

Anticipating the sharp tongue
to **** from the inside out.
My heart
Was always on my sleeve
You grabbed my hand
Brushed past my heart
And let it smash
You broke me
With your touch good-bye
You let me fall to pieces
I was your puppet
You pulled my strings
Made me fall in love
Made me smile when I cried
Made me happier than I thought I could be
And then again
You left me here
Without a word
Of sorrow or apologies
You just let my love hang there
Let my heart fall
And all I felt was it break
As all the good memories
Collided with the bad ones across the floor.
the walls are bleeding and my fingers are

melting into your skin.

on the back porch, the sky is voluptuous with rain and i’m crying because everything is electric and so, so beautiful

you give me one of those hugs that makes every bone in my back pop into place and then say,

i’ll never hurt you

it’s amazing how you can let go and feel

safe

standing in the wet street, my feet are muddy and i know the moon is shining on my bare legs even though when i look in the sky there is only

lightening
