Scents of the valley
kept him alive
in my visions day and night
His pompous exhales made new wafts of air
seem like romantic gushes in this temperate vent.

Speak foreign verses
while you greet me with innocent chivalry
Enchant me once again
with this beautiful symphony

He never needed to say a hello
His eyes made a thousand words sparkle to clarity
Movements, ever so slight
But in an abstract direction
He cascaded away, just like the valley waterfalls
Tiny glances
Every start of the week
A jovial conversation
And we were blushing in sprees

Ubiquity never surrounded him
He seemed different
He seemed intrigued
Beguile heart spelled out feelings
which i couldn’t fathom, though retrieve
Cold white bearings covering the soil
It was my dream
Hot air and soaking sand water in the feet
Was yours altogether

Of so many petals, unfurled
I am sure he might have walked past them
Did he crush them or did he pick them up
To caress it, I couldn’t guess

His words bled of anger and rebellion
As an artist whose ink didn’t fade
He spoke a foreign language, so clear so chaste
My heart rendered beats, unfazed
An evergreen blossom, like the valley greens
Snow topped mountains
That was your abode
In these rustic plains
You have come to find home

We are as different as the east and the west
There are so many things we put our hearts to argue at
There are times when he makes me question my sanity
And there are times, when a note to self finds me
Scribbling verses in my little diary.

He came from hinterlands where knights rested
Fairytales were made
He was a different air, a different vibe
My mind couldn’t set that familiar beat alive
I kept on writing, I kept on thinking

I kept on writing, I kept on thinking
Every word made me pink
Bred with sanity
An insanity grew inside of me
He cascaded away, just like the valley waterfalls.
Poem description: this poem talks about how new love and using topographical poetry. I have always been fascinated by the hills and being someone who was born and brought up to be a “coastal baby”, the whole scenic beauty of the hills becomes ever more picturesque for me!]

It came to a point
Where I wanted to shred
These scenic visuals I made in my heart for you
You came in, but will you ever go?
And now that you have left, will that feeling ever go
What is this wave of silence
Which welcomes me as charisma
Why do I end up going back to you
With a smile on my face
Why do you greet me with such a pleasant face
Everyone stops me from going towards you
But I cannot help it anymore
Its forbidden
It will always be
We are as different as the east and the west
And only at horizon will we truly ever meet
Go away now! For my sanity
I’ll keep falling for you
Even when you reach the highest peak.
