Flowers are hung over the voices
where hope is not denied.
A story of unimaginable innocence
has been embraced
and now sings a melody
of a perfect smile
that has become one
with the skies.

Life laughs and takes flight
while violins play
for the stars,
chasing storms of fear
until our mouths speak its words
no more.
We wait with doves
we feed by hand
as we rejoice
on golden shores.

The depth of forever
knows
that no sadness
shall make waves or leave symbols
in our minds
that cannot fly away.
Together we will celebrate innocence
rippling
through our days.
Darkness and death
Cannot cast their pall
Yonder this fallen earth
Over life and light at all.
In the minutes before sleep last night,
through stellar static, astral snow,
a poem, half dreamt, was born
and died; I drifted off and let it go.

Just one line survived the night;
that line will have to be enough.
I wrote it down before it faded:
sometimes we were good at love.
Part of this mind
is furiously angry
and part of this mind
is extremely kind
and this is a condition
which applies
to my whole family
and I have been struggling
to control the anger
by letting it be
and I have been practicing
to bring out the kindness
by being right here with us
so the dual nature
of the split mind

is non-existent
in this suchness
which doesn't have
to be silent,
only loving.
I love falling without expectations,
seeing yes in the garden of your eyes.
Being blinded
as if the earth moved
when we are sharing
the same sweet skies.

I love feeling as if I have been struck
clear to my soul.
When I run headlong into your arms and find
the half of me that is,
only with you, becomes whole.

I love the moments when I can sit very still
and get lost in the light of you.
The brilliancy of your heart
outshines any diamond
in expressions of love’s hue.

I love how you roll into the air
as a whispered voice,
from lips confessing love reigns
inside your heart.
The sound takes me places
where my heart leaps to start.

I love waiting to relive  the treasure
of velvet minutes I hold of you
in my memory.
They are the sweetest interruptions
and I will embrace them
forever, lovingly.
just something a little sweet :)

Odi
There was something flighty in your nature
How you avoided certain subject's
Its like your veins were on fire
Burning for something more than
this

And, well, umm I get that I really do
But I never felt like running
From something
that wasn't
chasing
you

So before you crap your pant's
Or spread those wings and "fly"
Remember you cant
outrun

you cant outrun the sky

And when you shake your head and say
your just looking for something more
Remember
The journey of a thousand miles
Begins when you have left the door

So don't hover in the doorway child
Or make a lucky run out "back"
There are something's you are afraid of
That don't always
attack

So while you're looking through the peep-hole
and checking for monsters under your bed
Remember some monsters
Only exist inside your head

And its okay to be afraid child
I'm sure we all are everyday
But sometimes you gotta stay and fight kiddo
Sometime's you gotta *stay
Anyone think of a better title please please please tell me :)
