Perpetual waves flowing of
sea foam chanted melodies
gather below a yawning horizon
awaiting daybreak embraces

Our footprints trace sandcastle desires
as pomegranate brushstrokes
on feathery laced clouds
drift silently upon a new dawn

Hand in hand we stroll along
a cool cursive shoreline,
past seashell mosaics created neath
last night’s opalescent moon

As softly salted breezes run
wispy fingers through your hair
I kiss you, now awash in a sunrise glow
*slowly drowning in your love
Good morning Beautiful

Why is it more words rhyme with hate than love?
Ok, a rhyming romantic poet’s quandary

I thought I put my heart
in the leftover drawer in the fridge,
but all that is there
is a half eaten burnt grilled cheese sandwich
and a cracked avocado pit…

oh wait, that is my heart
today i thought about how i'm better off without you.

lights shine brightest in the dark, mountains appear greatest among plains, bulls are most frightening by themselves, and i gleam clearer without **** on my surface.

i'm so much happier now.
