life is just passing by
me, and the world is
just turning, spinning

The common cold
takes part of me,
turn your head

Gray-faced eyes are burnt out
and our flames are gone so I
am resting my heart.
Frozen hearts grow colder
with every touch and like
icebergs we are drifting
apart.

I thought I saw you standing
at the end of the street.
I began to run, but suddenly
stopped to see,
I had been imagining things,
again.
Inhale, exhale, as calm as I can.
I close my eyes as I take
breaths in, deep.
You run through my mind and
now everything seems complete.
I open my eyes, but you're still not
there and I am still staring
at somebody else.

Blurred vision -
He keeps
asking me why.
Can't see the
panic in my eye.
I'm trying to feel
something, but
it's so tiring
because I forgot
that it's not
possible to let
go of your
love.
