He knows the smell of rain
He asks what color is the rain?
The wind blows
And he smiles
He knows the smell of spring
He asks what color is the spring?
A bird chirps
He smiles

He walks home
Wondering the color of the world
And he smiles

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is :
If I look
at the crystal moon,
at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
If I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
Everything carries me to you,
As if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now.
If little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you.
Little by little.

If suddenly you forget me,
Do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
Remember,
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But ...
If each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
If each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
Ah my love,
Ah my own,
In me all that fire is repeated,
In me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
My love feeds on your love,
beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine

I see the ocean in your eyes
your brown eyes.
It's deep, so deep
I can feel the wind
I can hear the seagulls
call my name and say
"you are the ocean"
yes I am
I am the ocean
I'm deep, wide and blue.
I speak to the seagulls
*"fly and tell him I will be here forever.
I am strong, everytime the storm comes I get stronger.
You may come and feel me"

She
Every time I see her it feels like
I took my first breath of  air
or maybe  it can be her black silky hair.
As time goes as I grow older
the sun still rises and her heart is still gold.
I pray to god almighty
whoever there may be Allah, Buddha, Jesus.
Please take me whereever she may be.
For whom she be right for me.
Sun is gone moon has risen.
I feel as if it's a prison.
Meer hours has passed but felt more like days.
The skies brighten with her lovely gaze.
We finally met at last.

I'm a bird
I have wings but I can't fly
I'm a bird
I have a beautiful voice
but nobody can hear me
I'm far away from home
I'm in the middle of nowhere
I can't perch in trees
I can't reach the mountain crest
I've walked for a thousand miles
with a tumbleweed
and I find someone smiling at this poor little bird
he's smiling at me
he can hear me

Would you stare at me
If I were a star in the night sky
Would you feel me
If I were the wind
Would you pick me
If I were a rose
Would you touch me
If I were snow
Would you lean on me
If I were a wall
Would you chase me
If I were a butterfly

time flies so fast
the night comes
the moon shines so bright
moonbeams dazzle my eyes

tell me this isn't real
I hear an angel whisper
you are not alone
fly with me
the wind blows,
slaps my face.
the angel's gone

I realized
I have no wings
and I will never fly.
