The Song of Commitment
Anecandu Sep 2016
Today is the day
A day to wait ones life for
What other conclusion then,
Today we are more than friends
A new beginning where a twisted path ends

My desire is to be yours
Next of Kin
Strings played together in a violin
That makes beautiful unchained melody from within

A symphony to the rhythm of time
With life’s beautiful waltz
Or a Tango, eyes focused, frozen as if paused

So take my hands
I'll take yours gladly in promise
take my heart, it belongs to you forever.
Anecandu Sep 2016
Sunrise on your face like a warm caressing hand
Your surrounded by friends, a tired but merry band.
No hooks or ropes needed just your backpack and your aching feet
Your taking longer drinks now to stave off the heat.

Its so contrasting, your hot when its frigid cold
This moment you'll remember, this memory is Gold
Its about achieving what you thought impossible at first
Something good for the soul, not just the hunger, but a thirst.

You fill your bottle from natures *****
eating your fill from among earths blossoms
Berries, nuts, roasting on ember lit nights.
the eyes consume the bounty of sights.

But the sunrise on the crimson dawn
while stretching your tired frame at being reborn,
So near so high you can touch the vanilla sky
You promise yourself to be back, but alas you lie......

Crystal
Anecandu Sep 2016
Someone once said your eyes were like crystals
I say they are exquisite diamonds that make you sparkle
For even though my station of poverty is cruel,
You are now and always my most precious jewel

To be beholden by your golden charms at leisure
Brings me daily so much pleasure,
Each time you glide into view
As an angel on gilded wings of air.

You persuaded me illicitly with your smile
So captivating it entrapped and dangled keys to a cage of fate,
Where I grin beyond its iron gates,
Here I am yours truly, the world’s happiest prisoner.

For this prison of fate holds and subjugates
My fickle heart to your powers innate,
At any time you could with one wink command me to remain
Enslave me with your iridescent eyes to tame, in your domain

When you speak,  little bells register in my head and echo in my heart
Striking me sharper than Japanese swords... your romantic words
And love, our hearts greatest reward, comes forward so delicately,
Shored and anchored by respect.......... pure in every aspect

Treating your fickle heart as gently it deserves,
Yet how cruel thou art to taunt me this way,
To withhold thy love until now........ all this bliss I missed,
Knowing you could transform my world with a kiss.

Thus you pulled my heart from an Abyss,
Stripping me and burnishing my feelings with happiness,
The freedom of innocence and youth come back as the only truths,
The truth is I would give it all to have just only you.

The Call
Anecandu Sep 2016
I wanted to call you again,
Your voice I know will numb the pain,
These heart beats, pounding aloud in my head,
Are they my telephone keys punched instead?

The dial ringing in my ears are like Iron Bells,
Tolling for the loss of our intimacy, me losing your spells,
I carefully grip the receiver cord tightly in my hands,
Like a rock climber dangling from fraying rope strands.

But then when you finally said hello?
My world shattered by that one blow,
My mind fragmented, suspended in multi dimensions,
As our hearts released, like rain, floods of mixed emotions,

I’ve waited so long for you to say three precious words,
Expensive words from those firm sweet lips I once kissed.
Yet now you speak, and your words are amiss,
Because I hear music instead of your voice,
Beautiful to hear, but condemning is your choice,

I’m sentenced to live without your electric impulses,
The loss makes me convulse, as part of me dies
Your heavy breathing and sighs.... replace once gratified cries,
I fail miserably with the charms of my best lies...............

I want the chance to speak to your heart,
Through these cold metal wires rekindle a spark,
To defeat the consuming fate that kept us apart,
Bringing once again love to the fore, to just love you more..........

"The Gate" (AKA Toll Both)
Anecandu Sep 2016
To the keeper of the city's big gate,
Gives an encouraging smile even when I'm late,
I'm looking forward and around in the traffic, the lane,
Trying to mask my disappointment, of missing you again.

For another face is at the window, surrounded by Blue,
And the next day and the next day after that times two,.
I've almost given up this pact,
Gave up on searching, handed my last and just laid back.

This time I got out early,
Cruising up, mind else where, just 7:30,
Can scarcely believe my eyes,
But there you are, I’m hypnotized.

Reaching out, I'm devoid of what to say or think,
Our time is up in only a blink,
And my dry lips fumble, from ogling, long enough to say,
Sounded something like, “enjoy the rest of today”!.

But if I'm lucky you reward me with another "Casa Blanca" smile,
The kind frozen in time and space of my mind for a while,
As I can only lean and gaze,
Finally rolling away bewildered and dazed.

To nibble on that morsel of memory tucking away what remains,
In the farthest reaches of my over ecstatic brain,
“We’ll always have Paris” I silently strain with refrain,
Until tomorrow when I look for you again.

My dislocated memory
Anecandu Sep 2016
Fragmented pieces of scarlet memories,
trees of stout arms reaching.... affection the fruit it carries,
Mauvey plumes sprout this golden harvest of my imagination.
I'm drawn to taste commitment's nectar of delicious dedication.

Hear now the sitars melody, notes in Arial Black on Milky White,
I climbed the apple tree in this garden of light,
The colorful wind melodiously blowing a heretic hero's demise,
Though shaken my grasp prevailed the prize.

Alas through and through my vantage point reveals a view,
The floating dislocated memories on a river of silky love,
That rise and brush the teardrops from my cheeks,
Then spirit away like frightened doves.

My dislocated heart
Anecandu Sep 2016
My heart was wrapped in satin paper,
My treasure presented on a platinum platter,
My sacrifice, as the reed fife played.
My only gift to give I made,

My invitation to love.. to live.
My gift misunderstood for a shiv.
My bonnie used it to escape my paradise that was free.
My little bird come back to me.

My dislocated heart was found,
My mouth rejoiced but nary a sound,
My bonnie was not in sight,
My heart reset at midnight

The girl who I love
Anecandu Aug 2016
The girl who I love, she's made of all the good things,
Her words nibbles my ears so soft like lips on Cotton Candy rings.

The girl who I love, her eyes are sparkling polished jade,
Like deep pools of emerald in the mystical caves.

The girl who I love because of her puppy heart,
that melts my eyes to pools of crystal art.

The girl who I love that encourages me to reach for the stars,
and holds my ladder when it rattles like railroad cars.

The girl who I love who smothers me with kisses.
who spoon feeds my ego, and grants all my wishes.

Thank you for loving me.

The words
Anecandu Aug 2016
They come to me, the words,
some on crutches, but happy like children,
they (the words) rub on my lowest ego like a wagging puppy,
no mercy, I feed them by hand to my vicious poetry.

Tripping in Trepidation
Anecandu Aug 2016
Love in its pursuit,
its battles and wretched forms,
Has left my scarred heart so deformed.
Back then each decision so clear each episode so dear.
I dove into the deep like a Pelican without fear.
With each withdrawal that my desperate soul has spent.
My spiritual accounts are all the poorer from the net of my emotional investment.

For I bartered away a piece of me,
paying for what I knew was free,
Serendipity was my stupidity.
****** affection my neurotic affliction.
My sense, cents and senses eroded by my addiction.
Gaining affection but lost my mind at the cellular level in its creation.
My compass strayed the ties so frayed each footstep of the climb.
Somewhere along the path I was blind,
"slippery when wet" hmmm ignored that sign.

Tripping in trepidation on my way down to hell.
I sped so fast I ignored the warning bell.
Now remains all the marvelous bounty of the beauty in this history.
How I found them still a mystery.
Those moments my only victories.
They hang about my neck like aging trophies.
As I lay tripped from my trepidation

The Verdict
Anecandu Aug 2016
The case is ready for trial, the Defense braces for war.
I stand accused and pleaded, a prisoner of this Bar
My smile constitutes all my bail but alas is it enough?.
Time treats me like an unpaid Bailiff, it pushes me this way, so rough

The words from the matter stumble, over the ragged edge of my nervous wits.
My pride is like a chafing handcuff, in reality binding my lips
My mind at sea its bow awash gallantly fights the tide,
but waves of emotions overcome and flood as soon as they collide.

Slap! reality hits me on the wrist, It cross examines my heart but I'm still in bliss
Back to the parade of evidence, the judge readying her likely sentence
My closing arguments, is that all my case?. Will you allow my one appeal or scorn me to my face?
I'm left to wrestle with my fate. Left to wait while you deliberate
But there's only one logical verdict for me. I'm guilty in the first degree
Guilty of serendipity.....

Love and Rain
Anecandu May 2016
You melodrama you,
always wished for more than dew,
basking in the bald sun since we were one,
pushing me and my weak knees to run.

today I wrote a different theme,
Nope no midsummer nights dream,
no candlelight under the stars,
no precious smile inducing memoirs.

No handholding, skimpy in the park,
No little  jokes that make your eyes spark,
no warm butterfly forehead (oh man! those) kisses,
no happy 1698 days anniversary wishes.

No rolling around my mouth with your salty tongue,
No chess no dominoes no Donkey Kong,
no skydiving through the clouds while we are young,
no last minute spring cleaning when the bell is rung,

Still in the morning when I lace my shoes,
I just lay back and block out the news,
then out the door to meet the train,
Hoping for rain.............

And there you are with my missing umbrella

Your words are like spring
Anecandu Apr 2016
You linger in my minds forest like the smell of night Jasmine,
The smoking embers of our passion are there entombed,
Lumpy Charcoal feelings choking like a smokers last breath,
Winding up my wild cerebrum as if a trebuchet.

I wish my aim to be true,
To exhale Cupid as all my stupid, arrowed words unglue,
They fade to watermarks on cue.
Passing through the tapestry of our dyed dying friendship,
Before the emotionproof ark of my heart comes to rescue?
This trip is in vein, my pulse the reins of a galloping aorta

They abdicate their royal virtues my eyes
I lay marooned by your smiles and sighs and thighs
My pride preserved,
Pimentoed by the luminous unfoiling of your hips.
The bite of your ripened lips, recoil my courage like bungie cord

And your words are like spring

Your love is my crutch
Anecandu Sep 2015
Hi my boo,
I really do love you,
My love was built for only us too,

My love adorns your neck like a gold braided charm,
keeping you warm,
When you hold it no harm........can come

Like half a studded masquerade mask,
but sweet like spices from an Alabaster flask,
encasing your natural beauty like a cast.......from "Friends".

My mind is your home,
Your love does Olympic backflips in my heart where it roams,
I Cheshire under its dome...... still soaked by the rain of your kisses.

Yes when I kiss you goodbye each countdown restarts,
I'm nuclear when apart,
But a placebo beside you, resting in a Cinnamon Guava ****.

I melt and then crust, melt and un-rust,
Responding to your every touch, like a rose mulched,
Your love is my crutch.

Love to love
Anecandu Jan 2015
Love in all its forms.
When bred it swarms.

It warms better than a layered coat.
Floats better than a catamarron boat.

Cling to it when sinking into this abyss called life.
Shed your leaves of strife.

Hold on to its bucking reins
Hold tight despite the pains.

Kick off your boots,
Soak it up like Ginko back to its roots.

But most of all love to love................

My Duty
Anecandu Dec 2014
Remember this moment and hallow it my love
that time taketh it not away. Dote each second of its
serendipity, as fleeting as the close of day.
Regale me with all affection, that even in its conception,
It is our greatest reward.
With mired pity I slave in simplicity as its lowliest steward.

Its height is unassailable,
as a castle built on Moats as foundations, each stone requiring
the strength of nations, to shake.
Yet still I quake,
Trembling with bated tongue in your royal presence.
A  fright of such magnificence,
To offer
               my fickle heart
                                           as a stepping stone,

To the gates of happiness, My gilded tongue to shoot bolts
of compliment that fall as natures mist in its decent.
But If I am but a mere feather, in thy velvet cap
My duty would not stop.

Till we dance as leaves of grass on a heather.

Love’s Reflection
Anecandu Dec 2014
Like a Diamond in the rough each cut bringing me closer.
Closer to perfection.
Fearing the rejection of the brilliance test.
I do my best, but the rest won't come.

My senses run, like a sinus attack.
Fighting off the feeling of black.
I want to be Purple in a gauntlet.
Or perhaps a bright Cherry Scarlet.

Deep and bright hold me up to the light.
I'm reflecting, what little I see,
Oh but suddenly, Now I  realize.
Before my eyes so true, what's making me shine all this time,

Its you........................
Anecandu Dec 2014
In my dream, I saw you in the eye of my stormy mind.
You heard my music but its reality made you blind,
Like justice holding my heart and happiness in your hands.
I held out mine but felt it slip away like the sand.

Sands of time, its fleeting grasp left me floating
like a wasp with a bite but no sting.
You were so kind to treat me like a king.
Wrapping me in a cocoon of your love and honesty.

Honestly I'm giving you wings.
Because your my angel playing my taut heart strings.
Nightingales song serenading me back through the dream warp.
Your touch is too warm as you pull me back to you.
Your fire making me unglue, undo into pieces

Feel my words cocoon and support you as you sleep.
Like the warmth of summer sun walking on concrete.

Your uneasiness melting away like an ice pop in the sun,
Only it’s in your mouth and its fun.
You want to skip and run.

Run out of your shoes escape to misty blues.
Your arms are flying.

The sweetness and contrast of cherry on your lips so wry.
Makes you happy cry. So silent move your hips and why?

To music you can’t hear but you’re so aware.
Somehow your looking up above and see me doting,

Feel my love............................................

Lover of sun and alone at play.

Beautiful rich colour when in bloom.
Unassuming yet powerful in a greenhouse room.

You complement the entire garden.
All the landscape brightly sharpen.

In the softest wind you bounce.
Your blossoms surprise unannounced.

Conserving moisture down to the ounce.
The butterflies and bees for your nectar pounce.

Directions to my Love
Anecandu Dec 2014
Wait for me, on the first midday of summer,
Your smile warmer than the melting sun.
In playful garb and colour we've only just begun.

Wait for me, last day of Autumn, a kiss past six at day break,
the leaves of uncertainty have fallen,
Happiness springs in its wake.

Wait for me in winters starry midnight,
You command my delight with your frozen lips of rose gold,
My heart swelling with desire at the fusing of our souls.

Wait for me floating at sunset in Easter's eternal spring.
Hope springs forth from the fertile soil of trust and love is blossoming..
Wait for me ....oh  Wait for me there with cheer

Why didn't we a lifetime ago?

Am I absurd?
To love you like .........an extension of myself
My little Elf, take me to the magic within us.

Anecandu Sep 2014
Like polished diamonds each dimension to you unique
Your so irreplaceable when you speak,
My knees buckle like wheat,
But only under the weight of your smile.

Like a drop of dew in a barren land
Restoring moisture to the sand,
The mustard seed of love in my hand
Is hope’s potential, eternal we can be one

Like a ray of light that burns
at blinding speed as our worlds turn
you’ve reached the core of me
I yearn from across what may as well be eternity

And in the obscurity that remains of the day
Our lives must touch only this way
while passing as a momentary eclipse
I whisper these words from my lips

Rare!

To remind me of today
I thought of what to greet you with
My mind began to stray

Back to the times of laughter
Good times in a small office of four
Now all I have are "Cow" workers
Too high on an office floor.

We keep in touch,
Though not as much
As friends in life should’nt be
One line or an annual movie with popcorn for three

So lets celebrate and break the trend
Select a movie or a memorable ends
I’ll be there at the favourite place
A waiting hug, a smiling face.

My nine inch heels aren't easy and sure not cheap
I have high “values” and **** my morals sound steep
Don’t fall off your chair cause I’m stepping while you try to “creep”.

I’m the lyrics in every soulful hit song,
My ma was a wonder bra and my older sister a thong,
I'm the one you slow down for when “stringing” you along.

I’m a must for the ***** bedroom uniform,
I come out when it rains but baby never in a storm,
Ranked way above the jeweled purse in the closet so warm,

I prefer carpeted limo’s lined Suede Blue.
You don’t like me? honey that’s why your just a shoe,
I’m not in this for walking or “tips”, get a clue.

So next time you see me lemmie say this so you know
Be grateful I’m only ******* with you, not stepping on your toe
Just lean in, see my polish as I glow.

Love is kind

Love is kind,
fruit of the mind.
Lives more than nine,
Stronger each time

Staining my lines,
Sweeter than pines,
making you unwind,
obliviously blind,

hearing only the chime,
of your hearts as you lyme,
until when you find,
fickle and fine,

in one perfectly aged wine,
then taste sip and refine,
for it will be mine.

Love out of nothing at all
Anecandu Sep 2014
You call me just to say hi, a little too often I say.
You promise to be with me long after the Arthritis and the Gray.

You say my name so sweetly, I feel it’s always safe in your mouth,
You sip my Coffee just for the taste, wonder what’s that all about?

You say you like my ugliest shirt, I wear it now every day,
You fall asleep in my old tops whenever I’m away.

I find little love notes in my bag, “hurry home” messages at work.
Away we use up all our minutes like teenagers on every network.

You hold me in manly “Nothing” moments of defeat while I cry,
You’re every woman in the world to me , Sounds corny but no lie.

I still surprise you with a rose, Its years since we first met,
Which is why I love most of all, you never let me forget.

So even though this Valentines day is probably too close to call.
I'd rather be with you anyway to “make love out of nothing at all”

Anecandu Sep 2014
Over the exploding starry display of your smile,
Which mirrors diamonds placed in its “brilliance setting”,
I hover but lightly in my epiphany like this,
Praying my worded arrow does not your heart miss,

For as I stand firm and frozen in times great abyss,
dazed by the nebula of your lickerish scented lips,
gazing at all that bounty that there lies,
behind the luminosity of your Onyx puppy eyes,

I scarce but barely recant my ambushed surprise,
Yet only to retreat to my own reticent silence,
With the memory of your mastered image my only sustinence,
Your beauty decimates, defying sentience and sentence.

My Thinker Belle
Anecandu Sep 2014
From the Azul sky a diving sparkling speck,
An unmatched beautiful creature without circumspect,
The golden leaves of spring like soldiers on parade,
Dip and make way for this fair winged maid.

I have so much longed to be first bite of this season,
To be touched and blossomed to perfection by your reason,
I grow juicy, soft and ripen as I fall for you.
Tumbling into your soft Cashmere hands on cue.

Salivating, I’m tasty, savour me between your teeth,
Sink deep in without remorse, how delectably indiscrete!
Say my name with a smile it’s so safe in your mouth.
I’m tingling the roof of your brain with my flavours coming out.

Take me away! as we fly, I’m cast about like an enchanted spell,
Moistening your soft syrupy lips of caramel.
I’m drained to sustain the iridescent colours of your gilded wings,
Moved by the high passionate notes as you sing.

Your smooth, probing tongue, my flesh diabetically sweet,
Leaving streaks of sienna nectar on fates smeared cheeks,
Wipe away before staining fabric from our black and white lives.
They keep returning, stubborn like long goodbyes.

Surprise! New emotions enveloping, hypnotic like Night Jasmine,
Mimicking a rainwater spout so bubbly, escaping, and exciting!
Your caught hopeless as a fish fly rod with a glass eyed trout
Choking while love swoops silent from heaven to pluck it out.

That’s when you look at my seed and you can tell.
I’m good for your ego but as bad as a toadstool’s spell.
So I’m placed in the first mound of mud you come across,
Where you replant me sprinkled with fairy dust.

The warden whistles my name you'd think it hell,
but she knows my case all too well,

Her piercing eyes as resolute as the Bastille,
Dodging Cupids arrows at will,
Across this broom is forever, I'm gone for a life long spell,

With Joy as my bars and happiness the rubber shower mats,
Blissful ecstasy is its escape deterrent traps,
I pass the time a whittling hearts and sharpening this rap.

See those chalk lines on the wall of my heart?
They record the memories of my days since the start,
Her smiles are more prized than jailhouse art.

At inspection and roll call in the morning,
The smirk under the cap then a whispering,
Keep careful watch on our "Prisoner Prince Charming",

No More Rainbows
Anecandu Sep 2014
Is this the end of something new,
Something of nothing cascading through,
Grinding like graphite brakes to cessation of interaction,
No more love, just dripping remnants of perfect attraction.
So what of the world and its distractions?

And isn’t it ironic, even platonic.
Like daily doubles, we both picked up on it.
Was it our telepathy or just in my eyes alone?
My heart leading, my mind following your spells along,
The cold metal words still ring in my ears like a Tibetan gong.

Your smile had my resistance my barriers to love disarmed,
You said you melted in my arms,
Maybe that’s why my love alone isn't enough for forever,
Forever love on repeat, despite this stormy weather,
Rain without rainbows, wow, isn’t that clever.

But can nothing be something, is that, cunning?
Why did I at that last moment suddenly feel like running?
Running from your touch that made the very earth quake?
Reversing out of your life before daybreak,
Reversing out of your life before I ......break?

Does this gaze away mean we’re done?
Eye contact, a smile, it’s over, we’re gone?
I wished driving away, that in that second I was blind
Wish I never already made love to you in my mind
Wish I could erase …………4 months a week, 2 days of…. time.

Impossible, since your more than a memory
Your etched into the trapezoidal ashlar stonework of my fantasy
With you I felt a transparency, an urgency,
We could be living off what we didn’t need to grow
Now I hold on to what I can’t give back, you love me and I .....know.

I crave your touch

My innocence blooms to magnificence in your arms

As a buttercup opening to the sun only for a day

A soft heat like ignited ***,

I warm to your soft caresses, the chemistry exposing my colors

You paint my heart a kaleidoscope, an Aurora Borealis

With your velvet lips and its innate powers

My heart a canvas, show me the color of your love,

You see mine as a deep penetrating blue

I see you as all the rainbows brilliant hue

The graceful sway of your alluring thighs

Fills my mouth with lies, and makes me possessive.

A tapestry of lace and dark rich milky chocolate,

woven into the soft sweet fabric enveloping our lives

We exist in selfish promise

An exception of a compromise

Opposites attract yet we are so much indifferent

Perhaps tolerance makes us belligerent

Angry at cruel fate for keeping your hands away from scarring my back

Rub me as if you know all my cracks

You repair all my defects with a smile

So smile then when you read these words of mine to you.

The stars will now shine a different hue

Wow, that sounds like my Valentine drink.

2 cubes of happiness, one shot of kink.

2 lumps of heartache and regret by the case,

Strain away the baggage, add enough “saltness” to taste.

Maybe a squeeze of jealousy to wet any dried up memories

With option to garnish at any point with glowing Blackberries.

Taste all you want to, try let all the sweet parts last.

Twirl it like champagne in your mouth, shake like antique glass

And if by chance your head spins or scratch like a LP needle broke.

Don’t cuss and badmouth my recipe or any other liquor on the truck.

Just order another round, or two, unless your pockets short

What else can drown you sorrow but love by the quart.

Butterflies

You open your heart and look at me,

I gaze, amazed at loves colours iridescently

Yes I see butterflies,

Frosted crimson, golden lime, royal in splendor,

They have no concerns or gender,

but dance together excitedly at the nectar of your eyes.

You open your mind to my thoughts,

I'm sold and bought, with nothing but your smile as currency.

I stay awhile, unshelled, basking in the rays of your happiness,

Stripped of my fatty pride to straight juicy humbleness

You leave me feverish, just to know you exist.

You opened your ears to my words,

They bend in the wind like Sansevieria swords,

burrowing deep into the part of you that lays dormant and still.

Absorbing and encasing my seeds of love that want to be free,

you whisper light as wind while terraforming for me?

You opened your mouth and spoke

the earth around me shook as I awoke

the soil and stones tangoing with my new roots

nourishing my leaves and blossoming fruits

as I reach up up up to the skies

To meet your beautiful Butterflies

Waiting for me after a long shower and shampoo

I dry my bronze silky skin and come to you,

Your smiling sweetly sitting on the edge of Marble countertop,

waiting while your loving gaze at me never drops.

I reach out my moist hands, we brush,

You shake nervously and seem to turn to mush.

Your wondering really how innocent are my fluid motions,

I'm smirking, while grasping a scented lotion.

You sit there amused blushing from Pink to rainbow,

Each angle gives you a new mellow, a glow, wow!

I'm missing something , something I pretend to forget,

You look impatient now with sighs of regret.

You sulk as I glimpse with a lean of my head,

through the frame of my door from my now made up bed,

I pull up my slacks, your sunny smile fades to dreary,

I put on my shirt, your turning the evil fairy.

I know you feel there's someone else,

Some disappearing genie or magical elf,

because you sense but never see,

Me happy in other pleasant company.

You want to be all over me that much is clear.

I want to take you too in my arms dear,

But today will have to be just that touch,

Your lingering smell on me makes others lust.

But silently you understand,

Your sealed mouth is as dry as sand,

I blow a kiss as I pick up my key,

I know in the dark you'll wait for me................

Because your MY perfume
