another day to wake up to

a new start to the dawn

another life be it broken

a lifetime reborn



a new breath from a newborn

a last for a few

a day to remember

a silence ensue

agility lost

awash in the breeze

Into the cold as my breath formed a thousand stars carried by the breeze
all white under foot as sounds echoed into places not seen
the cold was at its best as my teeth chattered
to music that my mind control no less
the world had changed ,its colour so sharp
the air so alive as my sudden breath turned gasp
ice formed from hidden mist from air unseen  
in places icicles,stalastites and dewdrops
on noses and beards a funny sight behold

I like the cold as i sit in front of a blazing fire
crackling and spitting to stir me to sleep
I like the cold as i lay in bed all warm and cosy
from a sleepy sleepy head
I like the cold to stay outside as i be warm and toasty
from a totty now swirling my head
I like the cold ....

Rain beating faster than my soul
as earth softens to the power in this world
madness looking at youth yet
young are fearless to the torture to unfold

leaders follow all that is led
yet who are we to challenge spoken hearts
when inside is dead to us
bled the un-bled

future horrors in minds so demeted
our shame so on show to the world
a world so scorched with stains from
failings as oceans wash and wash
to no avail as our life falls and fails

The sky on fire burned as fields lit to the night
sparked memories of another life so far away so lost in time
my youth so old yet my soul so young
wasted to the misery of a long forgotten train

a happy train with family and children
a holiday romance
now a lost empty yard where rust and weeds fill an ever lonely heart
such memories now ghosts of the past
yet pictures still here to remember
what once we all so had

i so wish that train would come ...again
take me to a a place where life was real and fun
fields on fire as holidays begun
memories of freedom a holiday and once i was young

face stare at me as my eyes close around the lost forgotten souls
their deaths all in vain as they try to show me a life ..their pain
the darkness in my eyes still shows their glow as they hustle to smile
a knowing thats known

sleep evades my heart as my soul tears from tortured mind
the faces still within me not hidden as new dawn lights a darkened sky
I shudder at their look ..a horrored dream that reality took
no daylight hides ones misery as the faces know
that look
