the boy that dreamed a dream
a futures life of dollar and cream
his thoughts were of good on this earth
no nasties lurking.. snakes unfurled

as teens took on toll.. the mighty hormones
kicked thus rebelled
yet dream was still right.. get in there
a futures bright light shone so in there l

twentys came and did fly and now his 30s dream decline
its still inside to see ..his dream of legends and the cream
infamous for family and few the boy no more
just part of the crew

in forty he worked hard to keep his family
dont fall apart
his dream of the cream was still there but now quite faded
his despair

when fifty he looked so much old
the work had taken him
ill heath unfold
and what was left of his dream
gone away ..ditch the cream

but what did he gain for his loss
love and family..freinds he could trust
his dream was of big and all knew
yet he had more
as family grew

the madness that takes over me
at 5 am i just wanna be
drank coffee ate some fat free
yet still feel guilty why its me
does everyone sleep so awake
when im so tired at 3 for gods sake
i just want a full on 6 hours
is that to much at this time in dire
a yawn that takes all my face
yet here i am at 5 and awake

we knew it was there
that smile that love
of the air
she hid it all from view
but we all knew ..time would do

a smile so far away
a talent wasted...day after day
but a fight was there we see .
a smile carried
for love set her free

as time took its toll
the fight fought through hell
thus lovers swelled
but we know there is time
for futures fortune
and love so yet untold

as flowers come into bloom
she would follow
predicted va ...voom
so hold ya breath once more
as new beginings come through your door

For many years ive wanted.. a live so rich for me
it all went round the table that cash would be the cream
yet ..as ive grown much older i now know what i know
that im the richest of them all and this is how it goes

I looked around my fellow drivers all in their fancy cars
and thought....i have one like that ..
its battered..old and falls apart
yet whilst they're busy working im nowhere to be found
cause im home with family thats what its all about

fancy jeans ...i have a pair no label ...but do i really care
but.. they do the job of many ...strange as it may sound
yes my shoes look messy... no Jimmy choos they aint
but im home for tea each night to hug my son ..im proud

I may not be a millionaire in eyes of bankers wifes
yet i have .. much much more that money cannot buy
see wealth is classed by how your missed and not the car you drive
shame that some dont see that... as life just passed them bye

step outside to realise your future snapped in two
a crash to harm those round us ....
fear the quiet ....join the queue
noises from a picture tells silence dreaded all
the dawn of horrors about to be born

No view to hide nor stay the sudden harm
cries so needing so wishing .....
all really was calm
yet darkness taketh angels
as devils plays outside

Heaven gain a few more
their ride a final time

eyes that bleed to the sound of another dawn aproaching
dead yet awoken as the noise invades my ears
life begun against the oppressive nature of gloom
dreams so yesterday as light takes on the dark

These were my thoughts as i awoke
today was my destiny to change the world
yet would tomorro be different
would dreams take on new life

7 billion souls now so think this way
all fighting for the one
air so sweet against dust from the dead
