She did too good a job in the wrist slicing department and died
-------

I said to her parents:

You don't know how miserable she was.
She felt she had no choice------& she had none-----
None tha she knew of

-----

They said:

But there were choices!

--

I said again:

None that she knew of
------

But you know the other choice
The other way!
-----
Yes I do:

I said
----

THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL HER?
WHY DIDNY YOU PROTECT HER!!!!!
--------

I was quite dumbfounded

Finally I said:

I tried

But I couldn't convince her to dare try it

She was too afraid to live

Too addicted to death

In a sad way
She was sort of enjoying herself

It was all she had

Suffering was her friend

-------

I was stunned to hear
myself utter these words

They did ring true however
So I stick to them
------

I say :

I'm sorry

When I stop

By her grave
Broke

( broken!)

--

Yeah?

So what?

--
--

Can you possibly just try
To
Do nothing else than
Live

With
GENEROSITY OF SPIRIT
&
ETERNAL
COMPLETE
ABSOLUTELY  UNCOMPROMISING LOVE?

Live with dignity

Die in eachother's
Pure hearts

--
Come on!

Enough **** suffering
&
**** suffering Poetry!!

****'

It's getting disgusting!

Demoralizing!

---
GENEROSITY OF SPIRIT!

ALL TOGETHER NOW

How can I think this is joy?
I’ve never tasted more.
I climbed through a window
Too impatient
To look for the door.
And now, I wish I’d followed you!!!
God, give me a door!!!
I climbed through a window
Too impatient
Too wait for something more.

And what did I miss?
Something grand, I fear.
I climbed through a window
Too impatient
And now I’m sitting here.
I’ve never been so far.
I’ve never been so near.
I climbed through a window,
Too impatient
And no one loves me here.
Air fresheners killin' me softly about
judgment moments--days bruised hearts sing about
within the reach of hell--and she told me about her allergies

Of course Polaroids stalk what we don't see--those kisses
and the homeless starving, and flowers, and ****, and books, those tears,
and when she broke the fever from food poisoning. I bet we'll remember that

--And the exposed arms around your waist,
lips on midday, heart up early, breakfast for two underneath
the only red umbrella
left after Gabriel's tune
we remixed
the night before.

Standing on the brink of the Lazarus water-mark
--And the man behind you, and the lack of others behind us.
Gehenna before us
wiping away the unforgivable.

--And they make us forget you were allergic
to the pollen of spring--the death-throes of day flies.

Answers for the bold,
Machination of desire and bone.
Twisting words with honest filth,
Answering by knowing.
Paled and withered words from mirrored faces.
Spite and curse upon your disregard.
Wraiths defying with sideshow horrors,
Corruption promised but always delayed.
With buttons of expected convenience,
You promise release.
Spit to your mucus.
Rage to your withered rulings.
Bladed aphorisms to your faced extremities.
