At first I had no clue
That I was loved by you
I was minding my own business
That’s why I hadn’t noticed

You got that serious look
And our face is often buried in a book
So I found it hard to approach you
Even if sometimes I want to

I felt the kindness in you
Apparent in the things that you do
To help others you’re always willing
Something I found admiring

Soon enough I learn
That for me you heart yearn
All I can think of was, “Really?
How could she fall for me?”

Sadly, I don’t feel the same way
But I hope it’ll be okay
If a great distance from you I’ll keep
So you’ll move on and won’t fall so deep

From hurt I want you to be spared
Because your love, I really don’t deserve
Someday you’ll find a better man
And I know he’ll be the worth it one
This is the Part 2 of my other poem Wouldn’t Mind.

Beggars in the pavement asking for alms;
Vagabonds continuously wandering;
Street children with nothing to eat just lick their palms;
These states of living are so shattering.

Avaricious keep on acquiring riches
Not caring how others are feeling;
Such a bunch of leeches
Being parasitic, doing nothing but stealing.

With head bowed down, we lament
'Coz we are still trapped by our past
Did not dare to feel any enjoyment
Go through each day so fast.

This world we are living
Full of dilemmas and sorrows
But all we do is self-pitying
Instead of doing things for better tomorrows.

Lived with an intention to avenge
Treated this whole life as if it is a big challenge.
Just the sorrowful side of life. But, hey, I'm not really sad (or feeling sad) when I wrote this. :)

The day that I met you
I felt a dream come true,
I thought I found the love
I’ve been dreaming to have.

You made me feel blissful
You made me feel wonderful
You've been a special part of me
Since I started being friends with thee.

It seems that I already felt something different
The feeling of love, maybe, but still remained silent
Have I already fallen for you?
‘Coz your love for me seems so true.

But then, one day
You’re with another girl, they say
Is she the one your heart is beating?
Or are you just tired of waiting?

Which is which,
I no longer care
‘Coz if we’re really destined to be together,
You’ll come back, and be my lover.

In case, we are not meant for each other
Our love and friendship, I'll always remember
You’ll still be my bestfriend
And this, I promise until the very end.

Surely, someone out there for me is waiting
For me, he has a special feeling
Who knows, he might be my real prince charming!
And again, I'll start falling. <3
This is the first love poem I've ever written. (two years ago) <3
It
We are all searching
and looking
and leaning
and grasping
for it,
and we don't know
what it is
but we are all
searching and looking
and leaning and grasping
for it,
so I found it,
even if I don't know it,
but it is nothing
and doesn't exist,
but I think
that we all have it,
we all have it
right now,
and we have been looking
for it,
but we just didn't know
that we had it
all along,
so relax
and enjoy it,
we've got it,
so that's all.

I just wanted to write a poem
And have it disappear into infinity
Not looking for validity
That it was only loved by me.

Just when you really love someone
You hold the words close
Like a firefly in you hands
Because if you open them to show someone
It could fly away into the clouds.

But now my room is overflowing
With things longing to escape
But I lock the door
Because I know once they leave
I’ll forget what they looked like.
Dear soul, you've got a lot to say. Speak.
Dear brain, you've always been right. How?
Dear legs, you've always been my strength. Fall.
Dear arms, you've been the ones to raise me up. Drop.
Dear nose, you've revealed all the fakes. Sniff.
Dear eyes, you've seen the game of life. Blind.
Dear heart, you've shattered with every tear. Heal.
Dear me, you've survived through it all. Break down.
Soul, when will you acquire your voice
And give your long awaited speech?
Brain, how could you have been so right
When everything seemed so wrong?
Legs, when will you give out
And scar from the fall?
Arms, how have you been able to hold me up
When everything else was pulling me down?
Nose, when will you expose me?
Eyes, when will you stop functioning
And go dark to the world?
Heart, how will you piece yourself together
When I cry every day?
Me, I'm sorry.
Here dead we lie
Because we did not choose
To live and shame the land
From which we sprung.

Life, to be sure,
Is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.
I thought its enough to see the same sky
To be frightened about the same thunder
To run under the same pour of rain
But no, not for me.
For this is not the right time
For the sky is so very wide
We'd need forever to marvel
Plenty some more thunders
We'll forget they're frightening
The rain, infinite...
We'll never get tired of dancing beneath
We'll savor every drizzle
Aware they'll keep coming
Though unending, fond of them.
She's loud but quite melancholy
She's proud but only at the point of being silly
She's witty and absolutely funny
She's carefree and that made her lovely
She can do almost everything
Singing, dancing and especially story-telling...
I'll never get tired hearing her laughing
'Cause every bit of it gives an amazing feeling
So don't you ever get blue,
For the rainbow would have dull hue
Still don't have a clue
Here it is: we'll always be here for you!
