Dreams fade as soon I am awake
As I sit over by the window
I feel the sun wade through my soul
When the flowers rush to greet me

With dewdrops on their petals
That fall gently on the ground
As they settle and are absorbed
By the cheeks of mother Earth

Your fingers nestled in mine
As you look in my eyes
You were with me that night
And so the stars shone brighter

The moon still waits for you
And all I hear is it calling out your name
This heart engulfed by its own flames
Still remembers your laughter

My love for you grows
So does my desire for you
If you loved me too
My dreams would come true

When people ask me, after you have gone
What am I?
I say I am no one in this vast world of contours
Thoughts and dreams
Colors that could make the body of my poems
Where your love finds freedom, releasing warmth in them
Now I know no color
No real tragedy
The only tragedy I know is
When people asked me what I was
I said,"I am a poet."
With every the dignified response
The rejoinder was often
"Why was I so sure in a world that writes more than it reads?"
It was because I had you as my inspiration
I was your poet
Who confessed his sins to your soul
The sameness with which we kissed too was poetic
A zephyr that would blow across your hair
That too was poetic
Now, all that remains
Are fragmented lines
Of a fragmented love song
Of a heart completely
Broken
Yours truly,
Aditya Roy

He was the storm
I was calm
Bundling in the blizzard
Sailing through the breeze
I was shut up in a cluster
Clammy hands and the sandy girl called hope
Trenchant, some may say if you profess your love
I was calm

A simple thought
Can explain a complex emotion
But, silence explains everything
Except, the sunflowers
How many flies buzzed round you innocent of your grime, while you cursed the heavens of the rail-
road and your flower soul?

The motions that swept me
Kept me
In the balance of my emotions
It was the tide of ideas
A written apology for my unbound creativity
Maybe, it was time for us to part ways
Maybe, be realistic
Maybe, there should be magic
In absentia
To a time which we can no longer refer to
The preference of this phase is just a part of a fantasy
A fantastical thought of beasts

it's too high
I can't see it
in my poem

In your everlasting hunger
Lying next to me with a passion
That fills the both of us
As my tender lips trace your soft skin

You ask me to get closer to you, bare and breathless
As I explore the deepest, darkest places
Caressing your sweating, supple thighs
You stroke my hair gently

Telling me, "Yes. More.
I've never felt like this before."
Pulling my face closer as your body shivers
You tremble, quaking, and quiver

As I hold you tighter
Your moans tell me it's alright
You'll guide me tonight
Till the morning comes

So, sleep gently
Tell me that you feel safe with me
As we wake up tomorrow
With your head on my torso

I haven't been in love
Being in love
Means forever
She wanted something else
I respected that
The pain stays forever
You said you were in love
Those were your words not mine

I stay strong
Longing
For youthful expression

Vivaciously sculpted trees
Create verdure
That only few trespass into
But the night is getting older
Nothing we can hold about in our transient tips
In this jungle, there are watered tresses called brooks
Finding all of this are books and the paper
On the forests of yesterday's trips to the forest
Ruined by progress meant for the future
Paradise is lost in the edifice of time, and now barren
Somehow, the path I took in its profundity
Is the right one
But, hey thanks for stealing my poem's title

The sun fell on the valley
I don't know if you saw it
Maybe, you should've
Because that was the first time
I saw a silver lining on a grey cloud

You painted in hall sending shockwaves
Pain moved through human bodies
Talking reminded us of solace
When we loved and loved harmony
Solitaire was played before our acrimony
It is time we looked on as stranger creaturea
Once were, pretenders now lovers
Having a brilliant mask on the outside
Disguising our love for God and his creation
When we were chained to each other in agony
****, did we know we were black and white
Never meant to mix like memory and passion

The thunder got locked into the dreary sky
Knells, kettles, little nullified and filling voids rather easily
I in the waters had some hundred men, with fibs and pies
Who was looking for a way to make waves with rib-steaks
The beast wandering the houses reeking of suicide
Take me, don't be afraid, grab me by the neck
The sea next to the northern droning ocean
Take me through the cloudy crosswinds, running far
Beyond adventure and danger beyond the Tenerife bay
Take me down like the killer down best friend lane
Friendly with the rider in the south
Stormy with the strength of the crowd
Fluent with the crime, knowing of the curse
All this knowledge is in vain if you suffer from being unloved

Feeling sentimental
Your throne of gold has turned to silver
You have gone mental, there is no lining on the cloud
All you can see is gold, Midas
Sleeping in fields of gold, sleeping under the clouds of cotton seeds
Germinating roots bright as the sun too

Feeling like I love you
Your throne of gold has turned to silver
You have gone mental, there is no lining on the cloud
All you can see is gold, Zizi looks at you fondly
With a goose feather pillow under your heart
Cotton cotyledons flying in the sleeping trees swirling in the cots of friendly swirls caught up with the weatherman
