So quickly I would drop everything,
Be swept away to sea,
Live in deep darkness,
Sleep with no dreams,
Eat nothing for years,
Breathe only one breath an hour,
Lay filthy and forgotten,
Say goodbye to all that I know,
Never sing a song again,
Never read another book,
Never write another poem,

Just to keep you.
Just to be lost with you.
Just to live with you.
Just to sleep beside you.
Just to feed you.
Just to breathe you.
Just to be for you.
Just to say hello everyday, to you.
Just to sing for you.
Just to read to you.
Just show all these poems to you.

Because I ******* love you.

Our meeting in July was fitting,
My heart sizzled in your filtered gaze.

The dimming of August only made me fall deeper, like the pink summer sun setting goodbye, while my young, naive mind welcomed such overwhelming, engulfing insanity.

The crisp September air allowed my throbbing, charred heart to cool, but the delicious burns still stung, still irresistible.

My conquered heart fell deeper and deeper into your Chasm of Comfort each time a matured October leaf swept down into her Crevice of Cozy hibernation. Will she awake in Spring?

I could heat the entire November city with a single sudden pulse of sweat you cause every time my name is on your tongue.
Sometimes malevolent.
Sometimes benevolent.

Blistering winds come our way,
Snow falls on the tips of our noses,
Warmed by Eskimo kisses,
December only seems to please us.

I want every coming month to be defined by you and your Entrancing, Empyrean presence.

I want to sleep forever in your Chasm of Comfort.

So hold me.

I must never wake.

Tell me baby it's cold outside,
Tell me it's me you must be beside.
I'll be fine,
Just tell me you're mine.
I know the weather is so frightful,
But your smile keeps me delightful.
Just hold me close,
And all the way home I'll be warm.
But baby its oh so cold outside.
A simple mash up of some of my favourite holiday songs. :)

I love you the way I love you,     .

The way my fresh hair flutters past your lips.
The way this balmy blanket bundles you.
The way I kiss your chest as I'm held close.
The way my eyelash caresses your heart.
The way your Heartbeat must lull me to sleep.
The way our feet ****** and so twiddle.
The way I close my eyes and smile, with you.
The way I drift away so safe, with you.
The way I dream to be as such, with you.
The way I wake to see first, only you.

I Love you the way I Love you,     .
The space before the period is where his name (2-syllables) would go. I prefer to keep him anonymous.

All lines are in iambic pentameter. There are ten syllables for each line. There are ten lines describing my love.

The 100 syllables in my description represent my absolute, complete affection.

You say I'm a very sweet, sweet taste.
You're like my favorite coffee.
You are wonderful on your own.
Perfect to me.
To others, different.
You don't need sugar to be perfect.
But since I am your sugar, I'd prefer to be added to your perfection.
To make you feel a little sweeter, a little brighter.
I said this to a boy. My boy.

He said, "We may be apart in the waking world but we brew lovely coffee together in my dreams."

You faded so quickly,
Away from me,
Then you rose so swiftly,
Right back to me.

My night was frigid,
So long, so dark,
At moments, livid,
What a lonely lark.

My stars gave me warmth,
As I flew past them,
Only lukewarm,
Your glistening gem.

All that glistened,
Were my tears,
In the stars who listened,
In their ears,
My fears.

Will he rise once more?
Will he not illumine me once more?
Will he own me no more?
Will he replace me?

As my tears fell,
One by one,
They glistened brighter,
One by one,
I saw your light,
One by one,
My tears stopped,
One by one,
You dried them away,
One by one,
And here we are,
In your light,
I shine,
Most bright,
One by one,
Face to face,
We are one.

Some people I meet,
Encourage defeat.

Some people I meet,
Fall at my feet.

One person I met,
Whom I love to death,
I met through kismet.

My second half,
We always laugh,
My darling friend,
We'll never end.
