MAD BUT KIND
I saw her in the street at night.
The sky had newly lost its light.
She was about fifty years old;
her face was ***** but so kind.

She had a cigarette in her hand
but not a smoker, l perceived.
She was quite strange to curious eyes.
I looked at her with mild surprise.

She glanced at me just like a child,
and offered what was in her hand.
She seemed afraid of smoking it
and like a child gave what she got.

She was so scared of her wrong deed
and as a young girl she appeared.
She had a defect. That was clear,
but she was soft, which moved my tear.

MANAGE  WITHOUT!

He is lonely with none in his hand,
For his daily needs and food demand,
Yet he deems himself a man of thought
Though no coins to publish what he wrote.

Still he sticks to honour and its cost.
He would like to guide though he is lost.
What he wants from life is just some love,
For the trust in self and just a shove.

Where is love if coins do not support?
Life itself will **** it and abort.
Love costs quiet a lot to live and grow;
It can't live on thoughts to get aglow.

Man of thought, you've lived deprived of fun,
Spent your time in gloom, no light of sun.
Can't you manage short of love to live
If you want to keep your thoughts alive?

MAN AND BIRDS
Little bird, you love your chicks.
Don't you love yourself as well?
You are hungry and too thin;
Keep some grains your maw to quell.

Noble you are; that is great.
Should the noble fast and die?
What is life without good traits?
It will turn to hateful sty.

I would like the human beings
to observe what birds can do,
and to take rifles from men
to increase this noble view.

MAN AND DIRT

Man has greatest trend for a clean heart.
Dirt can make man bear some pain too smart.
But a lure to gain the world makes him
Tend to use wrong ways of ***** whim.

Man can't bear the dirt on his seen flesh.
Fast he moves to clean it and get fresh.
No one bears the sight of dirt and filth.
They deprive him of his mood of mirth.

Dirt of soul can cause more painful sense.
You can't clean it by a quick defence.
You need Lord of souls to wash you clean.
Only He can bring you back serene.

Hands are yours and can clean when you want;
Lord of souls you can't control his font.
His unseen work can't be always done.
We are weak and can't that weakness shun.

MAN AND GOD'S GIFTS
When God unfurled His wealth on people's hands,
each took his portion, looking at his kin.
He thought that God was frugal when He gave
his pittance but was lavish with the rest.

God placed His hand on morals and their tome.
He dispersed them on people, deeming needs.
Each took his morals and thought that the Lord
gave him much more than all the other souls.

God came to strength and beauty in their trunks
and hurled in excess on the kids of man.
Each scowled and said, "What would You lose if You
gave me much more of these free gifts of Yours?"

But when God put His hand in that deep pail,
and distributed minds to those around.
Each grasped his mind and did not have a keek
at others' minds lest God would change his view.

MAN AND LIFE

Nothing can make me hate
Human beings in this world.
Lots of mess, small and great,
On their heads is seen hurled.

Man is poor in his life;
Greatest care spoils his joy.
For his luck, he should strife;
Some cruel men it destroy.

He fears germs; he fears death
For himself and those dear.
He fears luck and its wrath
That disturb who are near.

He wants those whom he loves
To live joy and true smile.
He neglects self and craves
To bring them best lifestyle.

MAN  AND  ROBOT
What happened to the crowds that used to smile?
They used to dress their eyes in bright attire.
Something has happened and eclipsed their cheer,
the last attempt to regain their morale.

They were so proud of their own minds and strength,
but science came to rob them of that wealth.
The robot helped to make them look too small
and change their cheers into a fit of sulks.

Majestic cyber, you are great in might.
You make man seem too slow and short of sight
as man leans on the mind and you on maths;
he seems too slow to race in your fast paths.

Man can't defy you; he seems slow and frail,
which makes him tend to cower and to quail
as robots leave him far behind, and he
has nothing save that he should bend his knee.

MAN AND SIN
Sin, you are a cause to suffer.
How can man be such a sinner?
Man can commit it by mistake,
and his sorrow brings him great ache.

He will try to find a way out.
If he does not, he endures doubt.
Remorse comes to start his own hell;
living that, his joy he will ****.

Don't tell me that man can insist
on his wrongs that his life exhaust.
How can man go on and bear that,
which can smother his poor, wrecked heart?

MAN AND WAR
What are you, war, but a raw sore
that itches those who can't escape.
They're driven like the sheep to die.
unable their complaints to bleat.

Man is created not to die
while he is in the state of sin.
He tries to **** a man unknown.
Does not that lead him to his hell?

And why all that? It's just to please
big bellied kings and their high rank
commanders who are senseless men
hidden quite safely shouting, "Fire".

The kings and their men will get old

The soldiers die young and they're thrown

MAN  CAN  BE  GREAT.
The Lord has made man strong with mind to build his name
through acts that need a lot of thoughts, hard work, and will.
His passage can't be soft as few can build what stays
like statues on hard rocks whose sight the world can fill.

Each man should share this race that starts when he is born.
You close your eyes ; you're free, but this fast race goes on.
A lot are not prepared ; that is for their bad luck,
but once you join the race, your deeds can life adorn.

You shed a lot of sweat or it can be your blood,
but you feel every drop will water your own cause
that can embroider life and place a stitch that builds
great canvas man's mind wrought ; it all his power draws.

That picture gets the Lord to look and like man's deeds.
He deems, "My sons are great. They follow my footsteps.
I've wrought the world and life ; they're doing all their best,
so l'm so glad that they are fond of my concepts."

MAN DESIRED IT.
I love all the people all,
not excepting one of them.
They are all poor human beings,
who groan most of their life-time.

What are you , man, but a mind,
that can ken the end you meet?
Beasts are lucky; they don't have
knowledge of the wrong and right.

You were as pleased as the horse
which romped and grazed in the field.
Such a snake of bad intent
made you love the mind of woe.

You were so glad like a steed,
Jumping in the field of life
till that snake brought you the mind
that gave you the care of God.

God's care's too much for you, man,
but you wanted that big care,
which showed you that you would die
and God would come to repair.

MAN IS FASTER THAN THE STARS.
Where are you taking us, mysterious time ?
You have the slowest change compared in life .
You burn your heat and light that move in space,
and have a little change we scarcely trace.

We change so quickly not like your slow change
and move from state to state so fast and soon .
We are so fast and our speed destroys
the flesh we have and changes it to soil.

Just yesterday, a mammoth fell and died.
A ditch of snow brought it its instant death.
We found it frozen after such long time
that seems like yesterday to our eyes.

How are you moving stars, and how does man
Progress from state to state in such short time ?
Each man feels that he is the core of space.
Have pity on his heart and slow his race.

whose hunger makes them seek a chance

He has no power save his heart

From that far sky he sees his hope

MAN'S DEEDS ARE HIS CROWN.
When you do your part, you'll feel so glad,
and you'll face your death with none to mind.
All the creatures will have such a call.
Mankind's not exempt from this rude role.

Man's supplied with such a weighty brain
which can make this loss a mighty gain.
He will work and sweat to crown his head

MAN'S  FIRST  ENEMY

Like bees, they sting and then they die ;
Men know their fate but can't pass by.
A man stings too, then by remorse
Is killed and destroyed with his force.

What drives a man to this sharp pain ?
It can't be but a sordid bane
That burns his heart and his morale
And thrusts him to drown in his bile.

By instinct, man to life adheres
Despite his pain and loathsome years.
What forces man to use his sting
Though death lurks near to cheer and sing ?

He fears his death but still fears more
To lose his pride that he lives for.
He deems that his pride should come first
Or sides with death when it is lost.

She is so loved in parents' house,
The toy of all, and joy main source.
All members find in her their joy.
She is for all their main life buoy.

They bring her what she loves to eat
To get her smile, so cute and sweet.
She brings her house a man one day,
Her choice to share with him her way.

What will that man bring her new life?
She finds in him a new birth strife.
What sort of life will he create?
To what new land will they migrate?

Her sailboat which is small and frail.
What will this birth show her and give?
Is it worth what she plans to leave?

MEN  AND  BEASTS

He wished a place where life was still
And silence spread on nearby hill.
Nothing was heard except the stream
Whose water rushed, calling to dream.

He pitched his tent on the green bank
Where trills of birds forbade to think,
And heard with nature calmness tune
Away from bombs and horrid groan.

The birds of sky did flee from men
Their rifles and bombs hoped to shun.
Not only birds but men themselves
Had got fed up with blood and knives.

Men left their hit homes and their streets
And in calm nature pitched their tents.
They fled from men to live with beasts
Which blood-shed for them was not feasts.

MEN AND TEARS
It's said that men are hard and should not weep.
Their hearts are made of rock and harder still.
When it begins to rain, the rocks get wet.
This dew is not their tears. It is the rain.

The rocks have got an inside made of flint.
So must be your hearts, men. Leave tears to girls.
The dew of roses is mixed with their tears

MIND AND ETERNITY
I love man as he has flesh like beasts, but with mind.
Creatures live their own lives caring for food and drink.
They get wed and enjoy all the mirth that man owns,
but don't have mind to think of their fate and cruel death.

Doubts and cares wrap the time that man spends here on earth.
He prefers obscure span than to know when death comes.
If he knows, he'll count days, fearing what he will meet
at the end of that span that comes as a fast blink.

His mind is a sharp tool; one side cuts, one side cures.
It vests man in soft ruth as he fears hateful truth.
It breaks hearts and makes man all his life live in fear,
of his death and his grave while all beasts prance and cheer.

Can mind be a bliss sign that tells man life won't end?
Has God sent a clear proof to those who have this mind?
It tells them that this tool is the fruit of that tree
that shows evil and good, so from death man gets free.

MINDS AND LAWS
Are you the cause of peace or great revolts?
You are endowed to men at different rates.
Some have sharp ones that can invent and rule,
while others scarcely have the brain of a mule.

Fast years elapse and some get great and rich,
while others hardly have the food they wish.
In time, the brothers will be rich and poor,
and some drive cars, while some sleep on the floor.

Revolts adjust the pay, but minds again
can find the tricks to have illegal gain.
Life moves in constant rises and fair rules,
but in the end, the clever mind controls.

Is time since Cain and Abel nice and fair?
Do men live equal lives when they compare?
The men who have the sharpest minds excel,
while others will remain the back and tail.

MIND, SIN, AND THE DEVILS
They allure him into what will be
an obscene act that will seem so nice,
and don't show him how it will appear
till it is committed as a sin.

He's indulged in what they've shown to him
as a light so bright and full of taste.
His bedazzled eyes don't see the truth
which will appear when his act's been done.

Then he starts to blame himself so hard,
sorry for the dirt he's caused to her,
but no come back then can be restored
and that causes him the loss of joy.

Devils then will crowd around his mind.
He can see them laugh and giggle loud.

MISTAKES DON'T SHOW THE CHARACTER.
Who tells you that your mistakes show

A freezing day may once escape

MORE THAN HIDE AND SEEK

They all were pleased to play, but my mind was with her.
I followed all her steps, trying no doubt to stir.
I was so glad when she suggested " Hide and Seek".

Winged and able to fly fast,
Inside hearts her love's amassed.
She stays there and sings along
Till we write down her nice song.

Song is done, she flies to space.
Who can stay far from her face?
Once beheld, none can stay far
As it leaves the deepest scar.

We go soaring, seeking her,
With sight she could easily blur
As she knows her great effect
And hates her house to be packed.

Strict her father is in mind,
And he will her reprimand.
She escapes from him and comes

for all the people on the earth and you.

My love is endless. It began with tears
for those who suffer, with hearts full of fears.
I cured their children and restored their smile.
They can't bear it, a world so full of bile.

I share you all your pain. Look at my wounds.
I don't feel them, but hear your screaming sounds
that ask me to relieve your hearts' distress.
I know how much your acts need to redress.

I came not for a kingdom on this earth.
I have no swords, no men for mundane worth.
I came to build a kingdom in your heart
that conquers your flesh weakness and its plight.

MY LORD, I SEEK YOUR WORLD.
Don't leave me quite alone in this obscure, big fight.
I am too small and weak, and depend on Your right.
The path l walk is long and has a narrow gate,
but those who can get through will live the happy fate.

The way that eyes can see and hands can touch and feel
we can get through with ease as it has great appeal.
It's also full of what can give man what he likes
not like Your way, my Lord, which is so full of spikes.

My Lord, l have a heart that seeks the happy end
and likes the endless sky; to peaks l would ascend.
The pleasure that will pass can never touch my heart.
I seek the endless love that blooms under Your sight.

My Lord, l leave the world and choose Your happy way,
where there is no dark nights, but there my life is day,
and nothing can disturb the tranquil heart and sight.
It is the life of verse when verse brings pure delight.

MY ONLY AIM
I look for You in merry dreams
as Your existence makes them bright.
My search can fill my heart with joy
because Your face is my delight.

I search for You within the day;
the sun is up and sends me light
to make my eyes and heart so pleased
when l expect to see Your sight.

I want to be alive since life
can yield the hope to spot Your face
as when l meet You l fulfill
the goal that makes me sing and dance.

I search for You and kindly ask
Your tender heart to do the same.
Man's trip is short and ere the end,
Your meeting is my only aim.

MY  PEERLESS  FRIEND
My distinguished Lord is such a Friend,
Who can dress my world in a sweet hue.
When l think of Him, my world will smile
even if my eyes are streaming tears.

Now and then, l may feel scared and lost
like a sailor on his straying boat
in the middle of a raging sea.
When l recall Him, l see my shore.

He bestows me trust l never have.
Fear of life becomes a purring cat.
Where can l encounter such a Friend.
If on other planets, l'll go there.

MY PHILOSOPHER AND GOD

There came a Man among the men.
He had no house; He had no den.
He had no palace and no wealth,
but he was well known for His strength.

He had great power of the soul
that could the blind and dead men heal.
He made new eyes, and gave new breath,
the Maker Who could raise from death.
But what can stun me to the heart
is His mind and His deep insight.

He told me what my nerves can cool,
my heart  and mind can make tranquil,
my conscience keep without remorse
that kills my joy or even worse.

His teachings fill my heart with joy,
and make me earthly life enjoy.
The greatest is the least of you;
Who said so with Him l will go.

MY POETRY
We live a moment of great cheer
and see the world dancing around.
Life gets the moon that reflects what
our heart, the sun, that gives its light.

What are you, verse, but just a voice
of rhythmic cadence in the heart
which comes spontaneously from there,
a song that chants what the heart bears?

The words are derived from its tune,
arranged by what the cadence yields,
recited to the tongue to say
what sort of state the heart abides.

With closed eyes we hear the tongue sings,
repeating what the tune dictates,
no change of words the tune allows
as verse can't accept altered sense.

MY REAL PARADISE
I adhere to the love that won't change.
I love all those l know; they've owned my heart.
I love my city and its various streets,
and all the people whom l see and meet.

I love my quarter much; l hate to move
to other areas in my charming town.
I love all people, whom l know so well,
and want to be with them; there is my sky.

I beg my Lord, Who can do what He wants,
to keep me in my house and in my room
beside the persons, whom l really love,
and make this lovely home my paradise.

MY REAL WORTH

I am so glad that my own worth
Is not up to some people's dearth.
They would deny all that l have
And rank me well below a knave.

My worth is up to who love me
As they would like my best to see.
If upset, l know my bad state;
If glad, l know my state is great.

My worth is how l see myself.
Is my heart clean or with dirt rife?
People around can't see inside
As that l only can decide.

But best of all's to look at you,
And see how you my face will view
As your soft eyes instil my states:
A look from them my love creates.

MYSELF FIRST
I reflect why brothers always look with eyes
of abhorrence at their kin though they all have
been engendered in one home by parents shared,
and they spent the greatest time under one roof.

People having the same post always compete;
teachers, lawyers always fight to reach the peak.
Children also see that post which always winks,
and the children read that wink and strive to it.

Selfishness, you are the jewel that all men
keep aspiring to attain ere they gain love.
Let me get my self-esteem, then what is left
I will remember my brothers as a gift.
