THE BROKEN HEART
He could not be any pride
of his father who worked hard
just to see him in a post
of which he could talk and boast.

He was humble; he was meek.
He was too shy just to speak.
That made his dad lose all hope
and off his mind he would drop.

I met him; he got my mind.
Such a heart l could not find.
He lived for love and for peace
and to shun his dad's grimace.

Man is feelings; man is heart
though he is not always smart.
Don't break hearts and feelings wound;
though not bright, his tears are sound.

THE BUTTERFLY AND THE FLY
Poetry, you are as free to fly
as a butterfly from rose to rose.
You don't go to that unpleasant fly
to impose on you its style of flight.

It approaches you just to disturb
your harmonious flow that it beholds.
This disturbing creature does not know
how to fly and wants the others so.

Fly on, butterfly; don't mind the fly.
It approaches to disturb your joy.
The unequalled charm of your own move
gains the hearts which know the taste of love.

THE CELESTIAL MIRTH
A poet not so pleased with men and ground
raised up his eyes and looked at distant skies.
He grasped a thought just like an angel white
that charmed his heart and brought him great delight.

The angel was so pure, a simple nun,
so clean of heart and far from worldly whims,
obsessed with what was good for tortured men
and eager to endow the touch of Christ.

He found himself so cleaned of worldly dirt
that stuck to him from gluey desert sweat.
He felt a shower of the morning dew
did wash away the squalor of his world.

He was so pleased with what he sensed above,
the purest longing and the deepest love
that carried him to profound, pleasant thoughts
without what fouls the earth and spoils its mirth.

THE CHARMING EYE-OPENER
Life is full of what can move
hearts too stagnant like a marsh
waiting for a gale to pass
and uplift an inner wish.

Poetry, we expect you
to rekindle inner light
that has been darkened for long
waiting for what makes it bright.

When we read your lines, we say
great is who indites this verse.
He has shown us hidden ways
to attain the long lost bliss.

THE CHARM OF DISTANCE

A song from far across the dale,
A voice so sweet of distant girl,
A warbling coming from afar,
All leave a heart aspire for more.

A word from far in written form
Can stir in you a raging storm.
You wish to near and kiss the hand
That's conveyed you that waited word.

You hear a voice from distant place.
You hug its tune in long embrace.
Your heart is placed in your fond ear.
The mouth-piece gets to you so dear.

Long distance you play with my heart
And make it shake and long to dart,
To catch that voice or that word in
And ****** it in heart within.

THE CHARM OF WEAKNESS
I saw my father walking in the street.
I viewed in him a person not so strong.
I loved him much, so much more than before
When l saw him the power of my home.

How dear a mother finds her new born babe,
so small and weak and he has none but her.
With extreme softness she gives him her breast
and with her milk she would offer her life.

What are you weakness, but a mighty spell
that makes a kitten have such great esteem?
One saves it and forgets to save himself
and feels quite satisfied despite his pain.

What makes you, mum, the first of those we love
except the weakness that your kids adore?
You mix it with the love that makes your house
turn round your sphere and leave that of great strength.

THE CHEATING CAKE

At the side of the lake, she sits eating her cake.
That cake can all her thoughts easily take.
I've just looked with soft eyes
how she can forget what her time lies
In her way to emerge in what time can her fold
either when she is young or gets old.

She forgets flying time and its speed,
caring not how the steep of her way can exceed,
taking her to the end we all fear,
but that cake blinds her eyes, and makes fear disappear.

Fearful time, why are you hard and cruel?
You seem proud that we all fear your rule.
You throw us such a cake, and we seem to forget
Where we go and what end we will get.

Don't be callous and keep for yourself little sense;
go at speed not so fast, and make fear not so dense.
We are all like dumb sheep in your field.
Why don't you your fast speed a bit yield?

THE CHOICE
Your hands can gather quite a lot of gold,
but does your heart accept what you have robbed?
Your clever muse can write a lot of verse
but don't you fear it's effect on the crowd?

Your thoughts can bring some embers from deep hell
and paint their pictures to some eager eyes,
but that would spoil their pure hearts and their souls
and bring you blame for such most serious crimes.

It's easy to cheat those who trust your skills
and are so quickly lost in your dark maze
but when they wake up from their nasty dreams,
they hate you more than you can recognize.

I'd love to be so poor, and beg my food
and lose my money and my precious fame,
but have a tranquil mind that hasn't hurt
or pushed someone towards the pit of flame.

but kept for it those great old names.

How can you place your modern verse

THE  CODDLED  CHILDREN
I am Your coddled child, my Lord.
You have a tender heart that loves the human kind.
On passion way, with cross on back, You told
the girls who cried,"Each cry for her own self
as each has such a life
so full of strife."
You cried for Your old friend, poor Lazarus
when someone told You of his loss
though You give life and can return
those who have gone.
You sympathize with man and feel for his long pain,
and You intend to cure his illness and ignore his sin.
Just on the cross, You said,
"Forgive them, my dear Dad.
They don't know what they did."
You love like that.

and be a coddled child

Help me to do well in this world.

Compared with me, they are too far?

THE CONCEALED MIRTH

We hear that God loves man so much.
That's why He gives him life on earth.
But pain and grief that poor man clutch.
Where is that love? Where is the mirth?

If life is a struggle from the start
and worry makes it hard to live,
the mirth in it will fall apart,
and death destroys what mirth can give.

That's not the case if we think deep
and deem the life of a tranquil soul.
Through his soul, man great pleasure can reap
and get the joy he will extol.

A man can live the greatest joy
when he explores the depth of faith,
the pure joy that none can alloy
and that starts man's bliss from this earth.

THE CONTEST

Man is destined for a goal,
Hard to reach but can install
His  name in the book of life
With those famous for their strife.

He begins an empty page.
Thoughts in his mind seethe and rage.
Looks he casts on those great men
Who could paint a splendid scene.

Lots of people lived with them,
Came and left with no small claim.
Nothing could they leave to show,
How they lived, what they could know.

Man is born to start a race
Which he should so boldly face.
Its reward is just to write
His name in the book of light.

coyness has increased my passion
for the gifts that God would endow

It is found in little children
and those who are saintly chosen
who are pleased with all their actions

Little child, you bring back to me
early time that was so precious

THE CROWN OF BOLDNESS
Life is not a dream of nonsense,
you can see just in your sleep.
Life is real ; ask who have won
greatest places in war fields.

Life for some men is a venture ;
they do all that can be done.
They with tranquil heart will wait for

Life gives great respect for all those
who reveal courage and force,
scorn for those who crave for sure ends

Who are too weak and kind to bear
The harshness they meet in this life
From disdain to scorn and great grief.

They are looked on as senseless men.
They respect all but looked down on.
All men try to rob them their right
While they look with accepting sight.

My life will have the deepest sense
If l stand at their side of fence.

Is harder than the pain of cross.

My Lord came here and cared for them
And mounted His cross to redeem
What was left of their self trust
And rise with them pressed to His chest.

THE DECISIVE OPTION
He is the norm which man desires
if one aspires to what is good.
He's done all what those He has loved
will find so good for their own world.

He hasn't looked for what He likes.
His boon will all His life destroy.
It will disturb His glorious plan
and bring His heart most horrid woe.

This is the choice you have in life

THE EARS OF WHEAT

I wonder how man can accept
To write about a trivial thought.
He even calls it a precept
While it is minus than mere naught.

A poet has an aim to give,
A notion that can open eyes,
Not what he only can conceive
A clever thought he does appraise.

Wise men forever think they need
More knowledge as they are too small,
For better learning ask and plead
As learning has no end at all.

The empty wheat ear lifts its head
As it is light and contains none.
The fruitful one's heavy as lead;
It bows under its heavy crown.

You send a call through mountain dale,

Don't send a curse; you will receive
What hurts or what your heart can cleave.
What you send with your voice you gain
As echo can your voice return.

Don't say the span of this dale's wide
If soon or late returns your sound.
If it's a curse your ears will get
And send it to hurt your own heart.

THE HIGH PRICE
Each man feels that he is the only one,
who is the central part of all the world,
and Jesus felt the same; He was a man
and sensed what other men were going through.

This Man and God knew well His sacrifice,
but was aware it would save Adam's kind.
He pitied them as Adam felt great joy
ere he was thrown a prey in his tough world.

But He could also know the price was high,
and He would pass throughout the cross rough way.
It would be His slow death that would approach
in those most horrid steps to that sad end.

They began beating Him; it was the start
of coming stages that were void of ruth
as all were gruesome, leading to grim death,
the sad departure from the near and far.

But man was weak and dear, and He loved him,
and wanted him to share the afterlife,
the life He wished to all who hoped to share,
even the thief who asked Him to be there.

Through mind and flesh man works, but flesh will die

The Lord, the Son, in His Flesh walked the path

Then His Flesh rose from death as His Soul set

and filled the hive they called their cosy home,
Utopia on the earth, and Eden park.

They quit the earth to live on that high ground,
but left the house that wept the bees of gold.
The honey got so scarce, the scourge of time,
and calling guests would seek where they had gone.

THE HOPELESS ONES
The cheerful dawn casts light on all mankind
and sows the seeds of hope in their ploughed fields.
Among the people are some luckless ones
whose fields aren't ploughed as they lack needed charm.

The girl whose face and legs have matchless lure
can have a gentleman who's tall and smart.
But those who are deprived how can they cope
with what they have in hands to hunt life's joy.

They look from far and moan their own bad luck
and weep to see their life's a horrid scene.
Can such ****** hearts taste love and feel delight
or just they look and sigh for how they seem?

THE HUNCH-BACK OF NOTRE DAME
All the people have one they love.
Why am l deprived and lonely?
They look at a girl and she smiles.
When l look, she has the giggles.

Are they sons of queens and nobles,
and l am the son of servants?
Even servants have their lovers,
or l would no be on the earth.

Lord, l heard that poor Lazarus
had his sorrows at that plush gate.
Have l got mine where no sweet girl
gives me greetings but for kindness?

THEIR EYES DRESS MY OUTSIDE LOOK.
Give me a clean inside and l don't care
for all my outer state if foul or fair.
Let all the people say l am a thief
if l am certain that l lead clean life.

Let all accuse my honour and my name
and all my friends indict me for deep shame.
If l look inside and find myself clean,
I feel as fresh and pure as winter rain.

Nothing can disturb my inner clean white
if that pure ****** snow lives in my heart,
but whiteness can't be true when dressed as clothes
as it can hide the dirt that the heart loathes.

I scrupulously dress myself inside.
Let people dress me as my deeds decide.
If they have ***** eyes, that is their flaw.
That can't smear my heart or change its hue.

THEIR WORLD AND MINE
My heart, don't look at those who try
to derail you from your own way.
They show you dirt and say it's fine;
they have their lives and l have mine.

The man who lives with his own soul
can't bear the mucus of a snail,
the sweat they produce on his chest,
where a clean girl would hate to rest.

Leave me alone in my pure world,
where my soul roams in its green field.
The flowers bloom, proud of their hues
to give such gorgeous, cheerful views.

THE JEALOUS FROG
Men whose pride blinds their good taste
if they aren't always the best
are disliked by all the world
and they lose their kin and friends.

Frog, you can't compete with cows.
Stop your drink as your inside
will explode and end your life
while the cow will look and laugh.

Why don't you think that you are
amphibious and you can dive
while the cow cannot compete
though a big size all cows have?

Each in life can have his turn
and none can contest with him.
Men of pride, look for your turns
instead of your killing whim.

THE LABYRINTH
What are you man but just a passing guest?
Why are you brought if life will end in gloom?
Are those, who bring you, pleased with its strange aim?
If not, why do they get involved in such a game?

I know some who can't have a sober mind.
They hate the world and drink to forget it,
yet they are married and they have some kids.
Why do they have them if the world is void?

What is the world but such a labyrinth
that gets quite clear through that eternal life?
What is the use if souls do not survive,
and live the pleasure of the world to come?

THE LAMB'S FLEECE

Sometimes, we feel the world smiles,
And sweetest joy in us compiles.
Without a reason for that joy,
It falls on us and we enjoy.

What is the source of that fresh breeze
That cools our hearts and minds can please?
It makes us see the world so sweet
And all our problems we defeat.

Is it a message from above
That falls on those who live great love ?
It keeps away from hearts that hate
As joy and hate can never mate.

The source is vague but must be blessed
As misdeeds can't with joy be dressed.
If holy life can give us peace,
Why don't we wear the Lamb's pure fleece ?
