Abandon Me
Harley D Mowls Oct 2015
You hug me and kiss me,
I hope that you'll miss me,
You say that you're listening,
But you're already gone,

You hold me and love me,
I fall but you drop me,
You call me a sweetie,
But where have gone,

I shout for you and scream for you,
I say that I'm here for you,
I call out your name,
But you're already gone,

I beg for you, and cry for you,
I wonder what happened to you,
Where is the real you,
Where have you gone,

I think of your smile,
I think of your laugh,
I try to reach out to you,
But you aren't coming back.

Mental Trauma
Harley D Mowls Aug 2015
I'm the guy in the back of the room,
I am the guy staring at the moon,
I am the guy that you never see.
But I just want someone to love me.

People won't stop staring,
It's like I have a disease,
They walk by without caring,
I am dying mentally,

What is wrong with wanting attention,
Why won't you just ******* listen,
Where's the love God had mentioned,
Or was that all just fiction,

I'm alone, I have no friends,
I'm overlooked, once again,
Nothing to lose, because I never win,
I want to die, is this the end,

My thoughts are my worst enemy,
Contemplating all this pain,
Am I to suffer indefinitely,
Should I rip out my ******* veins,

Once again, I've caged myself,
Made a noose and hung myself,
Why can't I just get some help,
My body is tense and I am weak,
I just wish I could get some sleep,
Another night spent alone,
Why can't god throw me a bone,

I am sick of lying,
But I cant stop crying,
I am done with trying,
Now you know I'm dying,

I am just so ******* sick,
I'm so tired of this ****,
I swear to god this is it,
But I will make this quick,
Pull it back until it clicks,
I won't even feel the kick,
Bury me as I go stiff,
Drift away into the rift.

Gazes
Harley D Mowls Aug 2015
Another shot at dignity as I sink into this chair,
I look around this room and I catch your evil stares,
Your eyes pierce like razors and I want to pull my hair,
Don't look at me, I'm hideous, there's nothing to compare,
I hate my life, I want to die, life just isn't fair,
I hate this place, I want to leave, return me to my lair,
I'll hide away, every day, until grey takes my hair,
Alone, I'll sit, never missed, like I'm in a snare,
Ragged clothes, broken bones, completely worse for wear,
You'll all walk by, grinning bright, without a ******* care.

Sleepless
Harley D Mowls Aug 2015
He's scared and alone,
Shaken to the bone,
No one to lean on,
No place feels like home,

A stranger in his house,
He's quieter than a mouse,
No point in speaking,
No one is listening,

He cries at night,
Holds his pillow tight,
He screams her name,
But its himself he blames,

Another lonely night with no love in sight,
Another lonely day with nothing to say,
He doesn't want to be around,
He wants to get away,

Will this nightmare ever end?
He thinks to himself and his thoughts begin,
The deeper the blade, he's more further from sane,
Maybe this time he'll go too deep,
And cry himself to eternal sleep.

Lady Love
Harley D Mowls Apr 2015
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who's the fairest of them all?
She sits atop her white-gold tower,
Waiting for prince charming barring flowers,

She never speaks a fabled word,
She's always honest, never absurd,
A bitter lie never tasted on her tongue,
Her sweet voice like church bells rung,

She couldn't be prouder,
Be you pauper or prince,
It does not matter,
All your sins, her love could rinse,

The beauty of a goddess,
With eyes like the sun,
She'll hold you close,
And see your battles are won.

Delusions
Harley D Mowls Apr 2015
They'll hold you close,
They'll say they'll never let go,
They'll lie to your face,
And be gone as the wind blows,

They'll tell you they love you,
They'll tell you you're theirs,
They'll say that they need you,
Then feed you to the bears,

They'll make you so happy,
Then they'll rip out your heart,
They'll say there's someone else,
They'll rip you apart,

You'll think you're in love,
But it's just a hoax,
A curse cast by an evil witch,
Who just wants to watch you choke.

Their Lovely Little Hearts
Harley D Mowls May 2014
They thought they were alone,
They thought no one would care,
They found each other broken down,
They'll make a perfect pair,

They kiss each other's scars,
They heal both their wounds,
They make love through the night,
Under the shining moon,

He thought he was unloved,
She thought she was alone,
They thought they had enough,
They feel love deep in their bones,

Later down the road,
They played under the sun,
Until one morning her water broke,
And out came his son,
The third and final part to The Lovely Little Series.

His Lovely Little Scars
Harley D Mowls May 2014
Forced to be a man,
He walks the streets at night,
Looking for something more,
But finds no one in sight,

Scatter-brained and crying,
He feels so unloved,
His heart is slowly dying,
He's finally had enough,

He grabs a piece of paper,
He writes to the ones he loves,
He grabs a piece of steel,
And falls upon his rug,

Flashing lights and sirens,
They pain his eyes and ears,
He spies his family huddled up,
Sobbing little tears,
Part two of three.

Her Lovely Little Scars
Harley D Mowls May 2014
A lady with a secret,
Her heart is full of pain,
She fakes a smile everyday,
Just to hide her shame,

She wants to be accepted,
She wants to know the truth,
She understands what she cannot change,
But she ties herself a noose,

She just wants to forget,
But it cannot be so,
Her scars, they tell a story,
For the world to know,

She's dying from depression,
The feeling is a killer,
She's forced to play the victim,
But she just needs a hero,
Part one of three

Changes
Harley D Mowls May 2014
Nothing changes. Every day ends the same. You come home, greet your family, light up a cigarette and lay down. You stare up at the ceiling, though you don't really look at it. You just sit there, thinking. Watching old memories in your head. Reminising about the good old days. Though they weren't that different from these days. You tell yourself, oh, how things have changed. But they really haven't. Nothing changes. Every day ends the same. You come home and things are still the same.

Invisible Hope
Harley D Mowls May 2014
She's got pain in her eyes.
Hidden by the sparkles of a hopeless future.
No one can see her.
No one can hear her.

She's crying.
Trying to hold on to the last bit of peace remaining.
They call her **** and *****.
She has pain in her eyes.
The kind everyone ignores.

She just wants a little peace.
A quiet place to sit and think.
But that's a luxury she can't afford.
She's got life hidden in her.

Wide eyed and scared.
She wonders of the future.
She's afraid.
How can she raise a man, when it was a man who brought her this pain?

She twists and turns in the night.
Midnight snacking  on late night delights.
She feels the little one inside.
His little flame shines forever bright.

But now there's light in her eyes.
Shining brighter than the biggest star in the sky.
She's waiting for the future.
For the day her son can see her.

Endless
Harley D Mowls May 2014
My watch says six but my clock says eleven.
I haven't bought a calender since 2007.
Time has no meaning in a place so far from heaven.
Where it's people were eager to meet a dead end.

From dark streets of stone to the wind chilled bones, this town is my town.
A place I call home.

Its a land of the dead, from self saddened dread.
Everyone of us bled for a life with the dead.
None of us here are whole in the head.
We're living in here with constant distress.

We've been pushed just too far.
We're stuck in pools of tar.
Although we look to the stars,
We see no angels afar.

As long as we're here,
We'll never disappear.
As the dark draws near,
We still wait for angels to appear.
