She's got pain in her eyes.
Hidden by the sparkles of a hopeless future.
No one can see her.
No one can hear her.

She's crying.
Trying to hold on to the last bit of peace remaining.
They call her **** and *****.
She has pain in her eyes.
The kind everyone ignores.

She just wants a little peace.
A quiet place to sit and think.
But that's a luxury she can't afford.
She's got life hidden in her.

Wide eyed and scared.
She wonders of the future.
She's afraid.
How can she raise a man, when it was a man who brought her this pain?

She twists and turns in the night.
Midnight snacking  on late night delights.
She feels the little one inside.
His little flame shines forever bright.

But now there's light in her eyes.
Shining brighter than the biggest star in the sky.
She's waiting for the future.
For the day her son can see her.
