My little devil
So kind your hands
So warm your heart
So sweet your words

But though I can see a future
A wonderful amazing life
And beautiful children

You only focus on my flaws
The edges that cut you
The parts that fight you

I try to see your point of view
But it feels as though
You never give back what I give onto you

So sweet
So caring
So devilish

Harsh with words
Brutal with actions
And break me any chance you can

So I must ask
The time we spent
The glimps of my life you saw
The vulnerability I gave to you

Was it all for something
Or were you just wearing a mask
To see how much you could trick me instead?
I can sit here
trying to find every good thing
Trying to count my blessings

but yet all I want to
is nothing
no breathing
no thinking
no heat beating
just nothing

Despite life telling me no
I still have hope
I hope your going to get better
hope we won't have to let you go

Please pull through
or pass quickly
no one wishes to see you in pain

and I want to do
is just give up
as well

please stop holding on for her
she'll be ok
I've always made sure
despite my heart breaking as well
Such a fickle thing is love
for one it's simple
for another it's their dream

so simple
so complex
so pure

for one it might race
for another it beats
but still pumps blood just the same

Yet for one
its not the mater of what happens
but the time instead
Looks would normally take this title
However
I find it else where

When alone
Surrounded by nature
Flowers blooming
Trees standing tall
Leaves russelling against one another

The soft breeze on my face
The warm sun on my back
A reminder of the unspoken words
That if you listen close
You still hear the words in the wind

The voices of those we miss
Reminders they are still here
No mater how much time has passed

To me
To be at peace
And with family and friends new and old
This is beauty
The hidden beauty most forgot now
Innocent questions
Lead to understanding
Favor growing
Roots deepening
East she went
To follow her duties

But when she asked you to join
You snapped and barked
Shut her down without a second thought
Your view had to be law

But the confusion grew
Why say one is a sinner
And should not be loved
When on a page it states
To love thy neighbor
And other says to love one another

If the beginning and end
Are one of the same
They why harp on simple things
Instead of following them as laws
As you state

Why must your mind be narrow
But demand other to be open about you
Isn't that counteracting
This book you hold?
It was the wind that brought her to him.
She was the wind itself.
Playful, mischievous, coming and going whenever it wanted.
and just like the wind
She was impossible
To pin down
Underneath the layers of charm and smiles
He was flawed
Cracked like a porcelain cup
In rough hands
