A beloved friend enticed my senses

Appeasing whines with tasteful tunes

Awakening amour at heights of suspense

To serenade me as spry I shall swoon

Euphonies swallowed my bones

Delighted be I to ever have found

Divine obscure ways to atone

Ghastly memories quite profound

Triumph has monopolized tribulation

Along hollow skylines nimble she fleets

Colloquies spewing frost shan't stand elite

Taunted be grief by elimination

Ginger Gray
Flames
Licking around the columns
Into the windows.
Acid rain
Splattering my decently ancient notebook
Tears on a dark day.
Taffeta
Crumpling into a heap gracefully on the floor
Embellished with sunshine.
Search lights
Shining into my open window
I know they're looking for you.
A voice
In the dark
Your voice, how I've missed it.
They won't miss us.
They won't blink an eye.
Won't shed a tear for our disappearance.
I kiss you one last time.
Let the flames engulf my fragile frame.

Dawn gently kissed the nape of dusk

Whilst patient time awaited peaking

Majestic streams of solar lust

Born via pre-******* streaking

Saturn's rings exclusive ******

Equipped for sensual fancy

Mesmerized by daring billows

Elevated by buoyancy

Excitement steadily evolving

Cosmic spheres swiftly building

****** timelessly revolving

Licentious shock she is wielding

Dawn coloured blackened skies

Pleasure falling with each tear

****** baring lovely sighs

Passion with a wince of fear

On the other side of the pumpkin patch there lies a narrow path.
Just a dent in the woods it seems, until getting closer you can see
The ground worn smooth by those who know to use it.
A short, dimly lit way through the thick brush opens out
And suddenly you find yourself on the gravelly bank of a railroad track.

The track cuts a swath through the dense forest that leans over it
As if jealous of the ground taken from its midst.
In each direction the track finally loses itself in a tunnel of trees,
Curving out of sight to reach some distant and unknown end.

When the train comes through, robbing the woods of the solace of silence,
I wonder where it’s bound, and how long it will take to get there.
The rhythmic clacking of the wheels, the endless line of boxcars,
The power and speed of the thing arrogantly announces itself to all--
Blind to any purpose or direction other than its own inarticulate need.

As the trains moves out of sight, I look again at the empty track
And wonder about the choices I have made.
The sea gave off a cry tonight,
It plays home to a child,
Her father threw her out of sight,
The sea swallowed her, so wild.

Her mother pushed and screamed all day,
Until the sun shone twice,
The blood would flow without delay,
Her grip was like a vice.

While pain would ebb and flow for her,
She knew her life was slipping,
But he refused to let her go,
The fear was ever gripping.

When finally the child was born,
And mother gave a sigh,
The father cleaned as best he could,
The mother closed her eyes.

A wail crawled from the fathers throat,
A pain beyond compare,
He'd lost his only love that night,
To love this child, he could not bare.

He struggled down the beach, that night,
With baby wrapped in cloth,
He swore up to the lord with spite,
And stepped in to the sea- like froth.

The sea crys out in pain tonight,
It's tears make waves, so wild,
A life, just barely started off,
She plays home to a child.
