Enough
Vic de souza Aug 2023
Lies, deceit fill his day
A little honesty for, he prays

Someone who truly cares
A person who honestly shares
Is it really hard to find
Or Maybe he’s just blind

Tired hurt and in despair
Tears rolling down to make him fair

Be nice and treat them right
Even when he’s not alright
Is it right to do it to yourself
Or is it unjust to oneself

Will he ever be enough
Or is he just a pawn to look at and laugh

Being made the attacker
Even when he’s the victim
He looks up to his maker
To ask why it’s always him

Sitting alone
Surrounded by darkness
he asks,
“Will I ever be enough?”

From me to you
Vic de souza Mar 2023
Strong pretty stupid smart,
A few words I’d use to describe you,
Mean stubborn a soul with a beautiful heart
People like you are quite a few

Sometimes funny mostly lost
You have a cute smile
That makes it look like an angel crossed.
You’re a beautiful girl with an awesome style,
One That leaves everyone stunned for at-least a while

I know times get tough,
And You mostly try your best
So it’s okey bub to be different from the rest
And It’s okey bub when you can’t figure out stuff

Hope you find what you’re looking for,
And all your pain and sorrows are not there anymore
Hope you get the best of what life has to offer
And everything you’ve gone through just makes you stronger

Thank you everything,
Thank you for being so amazing
Sorry for all the troubles and pain I caused you
Sorry for all the stupid fights we had they did nothing but make everything blue

Confused
Vic de souza Nov 2022
Unnoticed and forgotten
Ignored and bored
Unappreciated and alone
Lost and tired
The boy who once wanted to give
Now wants to give up

Tired of life
Can’t put up a fight
Everything’s so dark
He has lost his spark

He thinks of trying
But what’s the point,
He wonders ?
If they only come to him
When in need or bored and wandered

Pretty girl
Vic de souza Jul 2022
To the prettiest girl I know,
Thank you for putting up with me
Thank you for listening
While I complain about my knee

To the prettiest girl I know,
Thank you for trying..
For being there
Even when your instincts made you feel like going away flying

To the prettiest girl I know,
I know I can be difficult
But thank you for having my back
Now I got yours
Just how you got mine

To the prettiest girl I know,
I appreciate you
And am grateful to have you around
You have a beautiful smile
One that could brighten up the crowd

When I
Vic de souza Jul 2022
When I look at you
I forget the pain
When I look at you
I don’t see the rain

When I speak to you
I feel happy
When I speak to you
I forget about all that’s ******

When I think of you
It gives me chills
When I think of you
It reminds me of all our thrills

When I dream of you
I find you in my arms
When I dream of you
Im reminded of your charm

Adieus Dad
Vic de souza Feb 2022
How I long to hear your voice one more time, How I long to hug you and know it’s all fine…

How I long to see your smiling face,
How I long to feel your loving embrace

Hope you’re doing fine
Hope you’re the star that always shines

Hope to see you soon
Hope to enjoy one more monsoon

Thank you for your unconditional love,
Thank you for making us feel like we were more than enough.

Thank you for everything you have done,
Thank you for being the best dad to this undeserving son.

Believe
Vic de souza Nov 2021
When times are tough,
And You feel lost
When days get rough,
And your mind is crossed

Don’t forget,
It’s not the end
The sun might’ve set
But stars are to ascend

When you’re confused
And it’s all dark
When your heart is bruised
And you see no spark

Don’t surrender
Keep your head up
It’s time to fight
Till you see the light

Your hearts so beautiful
Your souls so pure
Your so so strong
Everyone’s knows it for sure

Keep pushing
Believe in yourself
It’s all going to get better
If not now then definitely later

Until then
Feel the music, feel the rain
Feel the sunshine
And let go of the pain

Memories
Vic de souza Jan 2021
I will remember you,
Will you remember me ?
The memories made
Will never fade
Engraved in the clouds
Screaming out loud
I will remember you,
Will you remember me ?

Lost
Vic de souza Jan 2021
Feels like Im lost
Feels like I’m frozen
And covered with frost

Surrounded by darkness
Surrounded by fright
Moving in circles
Hoping to find the light

Praying for a lifeline
My heart wants not to fight
Shirt Drenched in tears
As I try to hide it while sitting upright

Can’t pretend anymore
Don’t want to fake it no more
Waiting for it all to end
Please don’t give up on me yet, my friend

Different from the rest
Vic de souza Dec 2020
When I first saw you
You were standing with a hunch
A umbrella in your hand
And ready to go for lunch

You called me by a name
No one else ever did
A different mind I wondered
Who knew I’d like it a hundred

You’re different from others
Your thoughts tangled and weird
Yet they sound so beautiful when told
Some may say it’s worth more than gold

Your smile so beautiful
Your heart so kind
A person like you
nowadays, Is hard to find

Wonder if you’ll stay the same
Sometimes funny sometimes lame
A personality full of madness
Out on a pursuit to find happiness

Under the sky
Lost in his thoughts he lay
Wondering what he did wrong
That she just started going astray

Nothing around him
Just the stars and the grass on which he lay
And no one to seem him
Drown in tears while he pray

Ripped apart from head to toe
Crying for her to come back
While he refused to give up the scar on his heart
Which was her last imprint before they started to go apart

Soul
Vic de souza Nov 2020
A dark soul,
With pain untold.
A broken heart,
That tore him apart.
drops of tears,
For the burning scars.
And a bleeding mind
Hoping for a way to find.

Wish
Vic de souza Nov 2020
It’s at this time,
I wish I could hold your hand...
It’s at this time,
I wish I could feel the warmth of your body before I moved to the promised land

It’s at this time,
I wish I could see you smile,
It’s at this time,
I wish I could hug you tight And tell you we are going to be alright

It’s at this time,
I wish I could hear you one Last time
It’s at this time,
I wish you hear my one last rhyme
