Memories
love Feb 2020
It got lonely last night,
So I thought of you.
In the brisk of the cold night,
You were the far shining moon.
Cluttered in the figments of you,
Collecting some in my jar,
If solitude was the next name of love,
You gave me all you had.

Your love
love Feb 2020
My heart,
A frosted lake.
Your kiss,
The bright sunny day.
Melting all the layers between us,
You made your way with utmost grace.

The one I killed
love Feb 2020
Hands stained in blood,
Have mercy for the one I killed.
Blood trickling down my sleeves.
Drip...
Drip...
And
Drip...

Caressing her body.
The angels put her to sleep.
The pool of red wine,
I bathe on it indeed.

I lend a loan,
To her feeble heart,
Blind and naive,
She took us too far.

Disjoint from reality.
The warmth-
A cold autumn breeze.
Haunted by her demons,
I set her free,

Worth
love Feb 2020
I pray for a hurricane,
Come and wash away this pain
Immersed in self-doubt,
No worth in my vein.
I seek comfort on your lap,
It gets colder as the season past.
Come and sweep me if you can,
I thought I  had enough,
But now I want you back.

Writer's block
love Feb 2020
Clock ticks,
The pen scribbles.
Pages fill,
Drowned in the letter.
In my mind,
Hallucinating,
Day and Night.
A void chamber,
Forgot my key inside.

TO MY Parents
love Feb 2020
Bagged by an old fashioned cloth,
Breathing-
The rust and the dust.
52 cent and just 2 more.
Saved in the torn-up coat.

Lips chapped,
Body's wet.
Stomach empty,
Lungs filled instead.

Biting tongue,
Backed with a heavy load,
Sweat-
The overriding pulse.

Pushing yourself,
"A single step more",
One step-
And just once more.

Tremors of body,
Avoided to take a step,
A step,
For the roof under the head.

A hundred done,
Just a thousand more.
To buy a doll,
A doll-
For the one to hold.
We only realize all the hardship our parents had to endure to raise us when we become one.

Black and White
love Feb 2020
My casket's empty,
Open wide.
Laid by its side,
Black and White,
Black and White.

Pitchforks and torches,
Mourning night,
Your dead eyes,
Black and White
Black and White.

No burden on your mind,
Innocence criticize,
Stomping on my chest,
"Black and white!"
"Black and white!"

My voice poisoned,
Unnatural and undesired.
I am drowning in red,
Black and White,
Black and White.
Why is it always necessary to fit inside their box.

The hurt you give
love Feb 2020
Plummet  into my existence,
Light a match with my skin.
Bend me with your treacherous lies.
Use me, and brush me under your sin.

Beat me on the surface,
That's all you will ever reach.

Scrape me till I stop bleeding,
Squeez my heart until it's empty.

Fill yourself with my love,
While I cry at your dishonesty.

I have learned to give my all,
And walk home-hands empty.

I won't fight,
I won't speak,
I won't break,
And I won't win.

I will just fill you within my words,
Soak you with my ink,
Write your name till my hands are sore,
I will trap you there for an eternity.

Our love story
love Feb 2020
The day that we first met,
There were fireworks in the sky.

The moon shed her light,
Just to sprinkle it in your eyes.

My pulse, increase tenfold,
With the feel of your chest next to mine.

The dopamine that seeped into my veins,
Knotting my stomach,
Bringing chills on my spine.

Heaven on earth was your lap,
Your name, written on the lips of mine.

Sweet memories,
Those were the best of times.

The rain
love Feb 2020
Headlights
in the dark,
The rain, in July.
Don't just pour on me,
Shivering and Soaking-
Wasting my time.

Come to me like the flood.
Drown me with passion.
My heads underwater,
Let your kiss be my only oxygen .

Don't let me hold my breath,
Make your love infiltrates my lungs.
If I try to resurface,
Just sink me even further,
Into the canyon.

Sunflower.
love Feb 2020
You went to the garden to pick up a flower,
Poppy, Tulips, but your favourite was the sunflower.
Its shrunken face, dried eyes.
Through its beauty, you were mesmerized.

But what was so alluring about that dying flower?
Unwaterted roots,
Broken stem,
A leaf miners sanctuary.

What were you looking at with your glaring eyes?
The flower or the one you see inside.
He looked into her eyes just to see the reflection of himself.

Life that began with love
love Feb 2020
To the life that began with love,
From the mother's womb,
To the father's first touch.
I am happy that I lived so long,
To behold its tenderness and
To behold its tribulation.

Bless my soul to be more strong.
I have endured so much,
But there is more to come.

To the life that began with love,
I hope that it ends with love.
Not with the broken thread of unresolved heart.
Not with the sad symphony of what could be us.
If you can please leave some critical remarks. Always in the hope of improving my work <3

Colours
love Feb 2020
When I was red,
You were blue.
Then I turned to green just for you.

What you wanted was violet,
But all I could be was indigo.

Orange was your favourite colour,
I wrote you a song in yellow.

For  your acclamation,
I mixed all those colours.

Frantically tried to undo it,
When all of them discoloured.

I sat there reflecting on what was left of me.

I finally became the colour that I wanted to be.

Faith
love Feb 2020
Sinking under your comfort.
Broken heart,
Colliding with the head.

Blessed with your tender love,
Seeking for forgiveness.

Solitude-
Controlling my intelligence.

Non-viable-
My Sentiment;  My spirit.

Rose from my ashes,
Failed to transform into a phoenix.
Keep me alive until the dark,
I will find my way from the beginning.

Desire
love Feb 2020
If I could  fall with grace and enter into insanity,
I would be making my way into the vast sea.

I would swim away until my limbs are sore.
My heavy chest would be dwelling on the bottom floor.

My decomposed carcass floating with the plankton.
While the seaweed that covered my body,
Would be sewing me a new gown.

With its graceful touch, it would extend its limbs,
To honour what is gone and what is left.

After the death of my body,
My soul would resemble those unhindered pearls,
Forever it would sparkle after the quench of its only thirst.

oceans eyes
love Feb 2020
Freckled sky,
Rainbow sprinkled moon.
Your eyes the ocean's blue.

Waves thrash,
Rocks erode,
The grains of sand,
merge with the snow.

Deeper and deeper,
Deeper and deeper,
I dive,
Into your vicinage.

Stagnant, untouched,
Forth of the sea.
The glistening morning's dew.

Your eyes the ocean's blue.

Sending my love.
love Feb 2020
The sun, moon and the stars,
Assembling a bridge while we stay a million miles apart.
The wind that spiralled with my body,
Fondling your tender arms.
Let me tie you a letter,
Under these cotton candy clouds.
So even when I am staying away,
You will know that I am still around.
The universe will always keep us together.

Break free
love Feb 2020
Tallgrass arises in every path I choose to walk,
The sky and earth merge to watch me fall apart.

I am breaking at the seam; your tears justifying what you want.
And you frantically try to sew me with every thread of your heart.

Your stubbornness keeps me grounded,
But let me breach past this sky.
Let me tear out of this body,
Leaving my skin and bone behind.

Let me be blessed with your gratitude,
Let me carry your humble soul's wit.

How do you expect me to be untethered?
If you don't let me surrender on my knees.

Castle
love Feb 2020
I build myself a castle, a paradise -home of my dreams.
But brick by brick I had to tear it down to shelter everyone within.
They slept on my bed, they feast on my meal, they shattered my mirror -
My hopes and my dreams.
So I left them my bag,
My castle they could keep.
Carried my words in my pocket,
And left with my bare feet.

you
love Jan 2020
you
You kiss me like you mean it,
But when you touch me I don't feel a thing.

On the rooftop,
I got drunk with you for the first time.

You blew a smoke,
And you said I could be your wife.

In your arms,
I tired to fit myself  perfectly.

In your eyes,
I begged for you to see me.

2 months 3 days and 28 second,
That's how long it took me to realise,

If I gave you my heart,
you would burry me by it's side.

Not needing you.
love Jan 2020
The crimson red paint of my heart,
I took it out and drew a painting on the wall.
The judgements-laced to my body,
I shaped and tied them into a bow.
In the lips that trembled for your name,
I smeared some black lipstick on.
Ripped off that white dress,
Threw away your coat,
I put on my high heels,
Now I am dancing with my ego.

Beauty
love Jan 2020
Your beauty is a disaster,
Bitter-sweet anguish it craved on my heart.
Layer by layer, though it peels out perfectly,
It could never reveal what you are.
Your beauty got tainted,
What more were you hiding underneath it?
Succumbed to its insanity.
A prisoner to its entice.
Even with that fading beauty,
You insist on rolling the dice.

Your ghost
love Jan 2020
The ghost of you never left me alone.
My thoughts they are catastrophic,
Who am I without you around?
A blank canvas,
An unwritten book,
A poet who lost her juice.
Who am I?
Without you to tell me who I can be.
Who am I?
My silence is what's killing me.
Strangled,
I am chocking in my thoughts.
Reaching,
What I am craving is your touch.
Worthless and empty,
That's what I feel the most inside.
I turn around with the hope of seeing your ghost tonight.

Cold
love Jan 2020
Love once forever will be a story to be told.
When your empty heart touches through my empty soul.
More than you baby, these memories last much more.
I saw it from the start, this tasteless desire.
Why do we cry when we find the one we love?
Why do we deny that the nights are getting cold?
Cold....Cold....Colder.
love Jan 2020
Sweeping through the rain in summer,
Heartfelt emotions they all come undone,
Your touch left my skin now they run through my bones.

Your voice echos around,
Speaks to my mind,
I wonder how is your soul.

You keep lingering in the shadows of our love.
It looks so beautiful now that it is gone.

Are you afraid of the cold?
Now that I am not there to keep you warm.

Just a tear away from breaking,
Just a word to fall apart.
Hold me tight, do you wanna watch me leaving?
Save my soul or are you just quitting?

It's so hard to break too late to mend.
Force myself to sleep,
I dream awake of you.
Kiss me now, I am afraid to move.
Wrap me around your arms,

You say good day, goodnight and you're gone.

Falling leaves
love Jan 2020
Beware of the falling leaves,
Because they change so quickly.
One distracted blink of the eye,
Left me staring at the branches that are empty.

Beware of the falling leaves,
Noone's sorrow they wish to keep.
You can sit here counting trees,
But for the glory of the eyes, the soul might be deceived.

Beware of the falling leaves.

Dew drop
love Jan 2020
Something about the dewdrop reminds me of us.
Clear and fragile; holding onto one touch.
The soft kiss of the wind,
Enough to distort what bound us.
No faith and no courage,
To return and form the dewdrop.
