Drenched in kerosene
you light the fire
of burning desire
to my elusive flame
Doused
in musky perfume
I combust
with lust

perched
high
tidbits
of wisdom
let it fly
inky gloom
intoxicated
our lives
almost drowned
in the dark abyss
But god
saved us
set us free
from the dark sea
which
once pulled
us in
towards the
radiance
we swim

Vices of  
my men
drain
me time
through
&
time again
for
time with them
dims my shine
but
what is time?
an illusionary
man made
sign
of when
to resign

Cavernous
void
devoid
of purity
transforms
into a portal
for light
to shine through
illuminations
strange fixations
shine bright
with utmost
might
alas
no more fright
endless knowledge
overflowing wisdom
lies
deep within
past the trauma
past the sin
I shine
shine
shine
happiness
is mine

Drifting into
a dark abyss
full of
weary thoughts
blocked visions
I dream of a past
which
ceases to exist
one lacking
  impure energies crossing over
an unwanted threshold
I never asked the demons
to cross over to my side
yet  hidden fears can
manifest into the open air
I take a deep breath as
I dive head first into the cold
crisp water and swim into the unknown
water is shockingly cold
  mind is shockingly clear
What lies ahead isn’t nearly
as frightening as that which
I’m swimming
far, far away from

narrative  shifts
mind sifts
crimson blood
trickles & drips
veiny arm
selfish harm
guilt plagues
a
spotty mind
sleepless nights
sacred words
with
the divine
seeking answers
for me
wicked ways
asleep in realms
physically awake
for days
moving backwards
in
quantum leaps
remorse
settles in
it seeps

roll the dice
of intrigue
shake hands
of treachery
long dreary
nights of sin
veil
between
worlds
quite thin
his heart
beats  null
mind is dull
sings me  to lull
while he
plants
seeds of
poison
in my soul
