Some people don't love you, they don't even care about you, they just want to stay connected to you. The love, the benefits... So they do the minimal.... A little phone call here and there, just checking or thinking about you.
What they are really doing is maintaining a connection, so when they need you......they still have a way in......!!

I can’t tell anyone my feelings
So instead I write a poem
No one wants to hear things

No one can hear sobs
I keep myself occupied
Doing useless jobs

Hey, listen to your emotions:

Bitterness: shows you where you need to heal, when you are still holding judgements on others and yourself!
Resentment: shows you where you are living in the past and not allowing the present to be as it is!!
Discomfort: shows you that you need to pay attention right now to what’s happening, because you are being given the opportunity to change, to do something different than you typically do it!!
Anger: shows you what you are passionate about, where your boundaries are, and what you believe needs to change about the world!!
Disappointment: shows you that you tried for something, that you didn’t give in to apathy, that you will care!!
Guilt: shows you that you are still living life in other people’s expectations of what you should do!!
Shame: shows you that you are internalizing other people’s beliefs of how you should be(or who you are) and that you need to reconnect with yourself!!
Anxiety: shows you that you need to wake up right now, and that you need to be present, and that you are stuck in the past and living in the fear of the future!!
Sadness: shows you the depth of your feeling, and the depth of your care for others and this world!!

You can’t keep choosing someone who doesn’t choose you. You can’t. Because your person is going to be your person for the rest of your life. Not just when you’re young and things are perfect, but when things get messy and when you make mistakes and the world is less shiny. You have to make sure that you have someone by your side that wants to be there. Someone who wants to support you, and encourages you. Someone who gives you as much effort as you give them. Someone who wants to hear you laugh, and make breakfast with you, and listen to all of your dumb jokes for twenty, thirty or even fifty years. Because there’re difficult things in life, really hard and haunted things that make it heal and hurtful at times. But love shouldn’t be one of those things. Love should be your safe place. So please, just don’t give up the best parts of yourself to someone who doesn’t see the value in what they’re receiving. Don’t settle for anyone who doesn’t look at you and know, without hesitation, that they want to stay.

Why am I so afraid to lose you when you're not even mine....?

Then stop letting the smallest things ruin your whole entire day.
If you are bored with your daily routine, do something unexpected. Stop complaining how alone you are when you’re surrounded by people who actually care about you. Forget all the drama and let go of all the grudges you’ve been holding. Stop wasting time lingering over all that you could have, should have and would have done. Stop spending your days thinking how much better you could do; stop longing for something that has been and always will be out of your reach. Just live the days as they come. Wake up every morning and smile at the wonderful day that awaits you. Take a risk for once.
Let yourself be happy, because you deserve it!

The person who does something that inconveniences them, but does it anyway because it’s important to you. The person that’s always there for you at the end of the day. The person that can’t wait to talk to you and listens to every word you say. The person who no matter the mistakes and the choices you’ve made, wants to be with you. The person who you call at two am and would drive over to hug you and talk to you. The person who wipes away your tears and kisses your tear stained cheeks. The person who would throw everything away, the person who knows and knows what you want without asking— that’s the person. That’s the person that loves you more than life itself. Sometimes the reason for letting go is because they can't help but hurt you during this phase of life. When you love someone deeply, you learn what demons love within them and you realize that they're hurting you because they are hurting somewhere within themselves. They are fighting a battle within and may not even know it. So, they take it out on you and fight you, you decide to let them go, not because you're being petty or resentful. You let them go because you really believe that the both of you can find healing you truly need without being together and without hurting each other in the process. Letting someone go doesn't mean you stop loving and caring about anyone. Letting go means you're choosing freedom over the illusion of loyalty...!

Hugs are actually so underrated, especially those hugs which are so tight that you can feel the other person's heartbeat, and for a moment everything feels so safe and calm like no one can hurt you....!

Be optimistic but not overly optimistic:
Gary Vaynerchuk, one of the best social media experts, rightly says that we must be optimistic in our lives. This is something that I learnt from him. The guy is so articulate in his thought process that it is next to impossible that one wouldn’t be inspired from him. Optimism can turn any situation into an achievable one. However, being optimistic doesn’t mean that we should be overconfident. Optimism is good but over optimism isn’t because that can easily ruin the chances of getting succeeding. It should be like “I can do it.” and not “Oh, it is so easy; obviously I will do it.”

This is what I like about photographs, they’re the proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect……!
