Ever have a nightmare
keep reoccurring in your head.

If it happens why we are awake
We may be better off dead.

Things must go unanswered
How did this all start.

Wishing you could stop the pain,
Deep within your heart.

Heavy with guilt and sorrows,
Never being  able to speak.

How do you stop the pain inside,
Or find answers that you seek.

Monsters in your head
Eating at your soul.

Trying to subdue the beast,
Or at least be in control.

Lost dignity  from ones actions,
The pain will always persist.

It gets harder to control these demons,
Their power you must resist.

All we can  do is ask for forgiveness,
As we  pray and hope for the best.

We are still will be left with our demons
And pain upon our chest.

They say the key to healing,
Is speaking of the past.

But when words are never spoken,
The demons takeover fast.

Your mind becomes their playground,
And that’s where they stay and play.

Eating at Your emotions,
Each and every day.

Creating unbearable sadness,
By Tearing apart your soul.

Emptying out your insides,
Leaving behind a hole.

The monsters keep on clawing,
And dancing in your head.

Taking away your happiness ,
Wishing you were dead.

Dealing with guilt and sorrows,
Is how they all survive.

Hoping all the pain will end,
Just so you stay alive.

Their voices are getting louder,
Each and every day.

Trying to find the strength,
So I can keep them all at bay.

Your day is upon us,
Mothers day is almost here.

I sit and think of you daily,
And oh i miss you so dear.

Things suddenly happened,
And we slowly grew apart.

But I never stopped loving you,
With every inch of my heart.

My anger for my step dad,
Sent me far away,

I had to pay the price,
Each and every day.

I flew from the nest,
And hung with the wrong crew.

Another bad choice,
But still I always loved you.

Many demons inserted,
Deep into my soul.

Questions I always had,
No answers I was told.

I built up my walls,
And shut everyone out.

Screaming inside my head,
Letting all the anger out.

Even though,
I was anguished with pain.

My love  for you,
Always remained,

A life lesson learned,
A little to late.

I’m sorry Momma,
For choices I hate.

I’m miss you so dearly,
I want you to know.

But because of you,
I’ve been able to grow.

Into who I am,
And who I’ve become.

I’ll love you forever,
I’m happy I’m your son

From someone you really love.

Then we can have no pain.

If we live with expectations,

Sitting on the fence post,
Trying not to sway.

It ***** knowing the truth,
And not being able to say.

For now I’ll carry your burden,

It really ***** being connected,
I always know when your sad.

Even when we close our eyes.

Thoughts spinning around my head,
My mind never tells no lies.

Words tend to find their way out,

Sometimes racing so fast,
Unsure how this will go.

Birds singing in the trees,
Waves crashing on the beach.

Sometime I struggle to find the words,
They dance just out of my reach.

Sometimes people don’t listen,
Wondering if they really care.

Maybe it’s they don’t understand,
And that’s what causes their fear.

To many words that are never said.

We always wait till it’s to late,
Then words can never be said.

Words should never be hateful,
Words should always be kind.

People may be forgotten,
But mean words are left behind.

Be grateful for our loved ones,
Be helpful to the weak.

Be kind to all humanity,
Starts with the words we speak.

Be honest with your intentions,
Because feelings will get hurt.


Truthful words need To be spoken,
Like that’s not a matching shirt.

Why  are people so thoughtless,
In saying terrible things.

Stop and think of the pain you'll  cause,
And the sadness it may bring.
