Morning has arrived
Radiating pretty colours
Another day
Explored indoors.

Poking my head
Outside my window
I behold birds whistling with glee,
Free.

Why must I be restrained

Sometimes
We need no pills
To heal.

Sometimes
Therapy
Is no remedy still.

Sometimes
Nothing can mend
A broken heart like WORDS.

Darkness
Nature's first
Born. Covering the
Skies, concealing deeds.
Cleansing the environs for the mornings while,
Casting upon us the sweet
Slumbering spell.

Darkness
A friend to
The stars.
The house of the moon.
Shielding us from
The rat-race-syndromed world.
Sentencing our minds a wandering in Dreamland,
As she nights away.
Without darkness there will be no night. Darkness is beautiful as we rest in it.
