Around and around and around again
I spin while I'm poked until I scream.
A noise that you find happiness from,
so much that you dance to it.
Passed from generation to
generation,
around and around and around I go.

I wish I knew just what I wanted to do,
Not just with my life,
But with you, too.

I wish I could see into the future,
Read between the lines,
An at night  watch the stars line up in lines.
I wish,
I could tell if this is going to last,
Or just be a  thought in both are pasts.
I wish,
My only wish,
that you don't leave me,
Not ever,
After this.

We see one another everyday.
We talk.
We laugh.
We hug.

We call each other good friends.
I guess.

      You say something sad.
I comfort you.
You say something funny.
I laugh.
Right on que.

Like on tape.
Recording.
Playing.
Over and over.
And over.

but today I saw you.
And I thought,
Who are you?
And now I ask.

**Do I know you?
Find me in the recesses of your mind
Dust me off and let me shine
I want to breathe
I want to breed
Create little seeds of love in your heart.
I'm not loveless, I never was
I felt each barb deep in my flesh
Like each barb deep in my flesh.
It hurt when you called me cold
And alone
Because I was
Because it's what you thought
Confident in what you knew
Of a person whom was only ever in love with you.
I have become endlessly infatuated
with the low cadence of your voice.
The way it crackles before dawn and
strengthens after your morning coffee.
Your soft lips part to bare its splendor.
It tickles my earlobe when you whisper
soft melodies I could never grow tired of.
It covers the rim of your coffee cup when
you take a sip; it sweetly kisses you like I do.
I believe in the beauty of simplicity once more.
