Blackened Moss
blackened moss
in a zen garden.
distant from
silence.

Stories Cooked Away
the color red, in
all its template slabs--
delves into other
colors.
consuming them as it
hosts them (very well).
batting away beneath
flesh...suddenness catching
itself.
what cannot be put out--

light switch
is stroked shut--

sleekly
greased with soul
food.
the sun stays on...
as the moon does
her thing.
impeccably undressed.
spying on her unknown
creatures.

Petrified Fist
one leaf has
to fall first,
atop a flower
like a petrified
fist.
performing an
austerity in
Mother India.
a damaru in Shiva's
hand.
