scowling brutishly, while
being walked by mind--
punitive tugs left out of joint.
failed and failing wildly
along the ground's satisfactory
conduct.
snapping a leash or two, to
dig under--crater a moon dragging
a fence of sunlight.
to and fro, fro and to--the nubs of
bones exposed, chewed and licked to
see straight through obedience.
was that you I saw then, in an
****** spell of light--a mask of
terrible figuring?
i tried it on, and pointed to myself--
then gave it back to you.
weariness played with the holes
on my back, and the kisses on my
cheeks.
with a directness that galavanized
my humanity, rounded the plate
of a home cooked meal before me.
i drooled and teared at once, how
curious a bashful animal--first, second
and third person trinitized.
fully accepting, that all we do is eat
from each others hands.

effusion on the
melt, lingua franca
of gold.
tongued to the tip
of its flame, twine
of dusted skin--
lit with professing.
pilgrimage's keel over
into otherness, that
far off land.
tried truer than truth
on the lips.
membranous bouquets,
rippling beside rectangular
rain.
patchwork of an amorphous
doorway, administering
symbolisms that outshine
light.
scale's draw, the weight
of open arms met with
like weight.
a kiss such as the forgetfulness
of faces, as if to say: we've
come to this my love--lateness
surrounds.
*Inspired  by  Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt's: The Kiss.

having descried a
day's bathing
image--
loosely christened
by running
transparencies.
lambently
blind as a stone's
stone throw--
prepossessed of
distance.
exhortations of:
retain thy image!
wholly bisected--
thus intersected by
what beholds as the
consequence of retain.
oblations continually
raised up with dull squints--
to please the heights of overseers.
oblations continually lowered
down with torches--
to please the depths of under-seers.
our juxtapositional brilliance's
harvested, by a static field
of meditation.
salient points of etheric half turns,
suggest a circle already completed.
retain thy image--as time compositely
sketched.
fugitive thy reality.
*The use of words in poetry to suggest visual images.

winnowing grasses--
a workable blear of plotlines.
bore up your scalp--
segued with white noise.
the fine stitch of your
corpus callosum, threw down
ankle-length tresses.
black enough for night to take
asylum--
and spread ranging moonlight.
your return call to sourced sunlight.
wild as a phosphorescent
throat of kept peace.
nature's long sleep in simpatico with you,
drooled resin.
Persephone, that line you toe in
cavernous raiment... has brought
down the house
with your strange delectation.
pomegranate, your caesura--held
on to for dear death.
leathered by the singed petitions of last lights,
bloated with rosaries that seed new planes.
your walk abroad covers
enough ground to blow systematized
stars.
congregationless dimmer switches
of Hades.

The Furies
break the rain's fall,
for a drink to spring.
opening wide with
predatory accuracy.
hungering more than
hungering things.
to blush their pallid
cheeks, with a hint of
life.
this go round, of this
elemental ploy--gathered
thus.
as above ground, blades
of grass may be bent,
certain with intent.
the vengeance of direction,
nonplussed by deed done.
a harrying net thrown upon
worms parading as flowers.
the close quarters of winter's
spring breeds both ways.
the napes of flowers bristle.
*The Furies were the mythological Greco-Roman goddesses of vengeance.
