Gone
Lilly Jul 2019
The grass wet the storm last night you close the curtain door and sounded like a gunshot to my ears a pain in my heart hit like a thousand knives watching you leave avoiding eye contact with everybody showing emotion like a lifeless zombie with nowhere to go as I see you staring down at the ground as we pray in a circle I remember the days only little just like a haze smile you gave me so sweet summer sun so warm has my voice cracked filled with hurt and pain I told you I love you forever and forever means always
I once asked a friend why he never says goodbye he said goodbye means forever and later means to you again

Why
Lilly Jun 2019
Why
How many people have to die before someone reveals the lie of the world they say trust the system I don't see how we can trust something that kills our brothers and sisters and pulls the sheets over our heads as these mothers cry for there children when they die for simply having a hoodie on or cause they match the same color as the beautiful night sky.

Tell me...
How many more of us have to die
How many mothers have to cry before you realize we are the same my flesh is darker than yours
As I break my back and my fingers bleed picking your food or shining your shoes and picking you to get as you **** on a silver spoon.

Stained glass
Lilly May 2019
As I walked into the old dust church doors the stained glass I see reminds me of times mostly bad, the sound of people's voices echoing the phrases of a book from many years ago I scan the sea of people my eyes land on you the odd boy in the corner with the beautiful emerald eyes that seemed obsessed with a book and with that I saw one look a simple glance so I took the chance to say hello I caught feels fast your eyes almost as beautiful as the stained glass
The stained glass that once hurt but when I look into your eyes I felt safe your the reason I go back to that place to hear the echoes of those sould just to catch a glimpse every Sunday of the boy who keeps me alive an I now every time I see stained glass it reminds me of you and the funny things we say and do it every time I see stained glass it reminds me of you
And your green eyes that keep me from being blue
To the boy I have midnight memories and 3am porch story's with

March 11, 11:38pm
Lilly Mar 2019
As I sit in the corner of my room memories of you flood my veiw
As I look back at the picture
They took that night
It is all a memory but it still feels like last night
As we walked the streets that cold March night
I saw a side of you
I will Never forget ,the secrets we shared in the church parking lot
We keep between us
As we looked at the sky
I looked over at you
And kissed you
Goodbye
We took you home you where
So sad to leave
But forever Happy that
You spent time with me
We hugged
We kissed
We waved good bye
Now when I think about it
I look up
And laugh
At the sky
