We all have our little problems,
A trouble or two.
But I seemed to have miss yours,
There's nothing wrong with you.

It's not that your perfect,
For no one can be.
But I've chosen to look past that,
Your flaws I can no longer see.

To yourself you have flaws,
You wish you could fix.
But to me there what makes you,
So different for other chicks.

I look out my window,
And what to my surprise.
It's raining outside,
Water coming from the sky.

First a drop or two,
Then buckets at a time.
The water pours down,
It's as it hits its prime.

I listen to the drops,
As they hit the glass.
I can already smell,
The dew on the grass.

I slowly drift off,
As I watch the rain.
Into my head,
My thoughts not in vain.

I think of my life,
And all I have done.
My life like the sky,
Absent of the sun.

I know I said,
That I had to sleep,
But your on my mind,
And my hearts in a heap.

I'm wide awake,
My thoughts set on you.
I love your smile,
And your laugh too.

So I guess I'll stay,
Awake this night.
