Sometimes I just wonder
Do they care?

Do they care enough to notice the scars?
Do they care enough to notice all bruises?
Do they care enough to ask how I'm doing?
If I'm okay?

Do they care when I answer no?

Or will they just walk away like all the others?

Do they care?
Do you care?

It's all lies,
Never the truth.
The smile they all believe.
It's nothing but a mask I simply put on every day.
The smile they all believe.
The scars that hide underneath my sleeves,
unoticed by everyone else.
The smile they all believe.
The screams for help no one seems to notice.
The smile they all believe.
I go to school with the smile, they all believe.
