DAWN OF LOVE
Come let's flap our wings and tails,
Entwined, we'll raise our sails.
Sail away to a rose scented clime,
Yonder beyond the restrictions of time.

Come let's sail where hearts never asunder
Nor ever fall apart, but always wonder.
Wondering the true magic of love,
Like an eagle aloft in skies above.

O come, you'll be Queen and I'll be King,
To thee, sweet melodies I'll always sing,
All day long through the night,
Till the bursting of the dawn light.*

ONE PERCENT
Ninety nine** percent of thee
Might be feeling naught for me
Which unbearably doth hurt.
However, one percent of thy heart
Serendipitously could be!
Well, all I crave is: "That one percent."

CHRISTMAS (ACROSTIC)
Chariot brimful of **Gold
Horse drawn from a realm of
Rainbows for us to Hold.
Ivory tower of felicity that culminate in
Stunning memories to be told
Till the sun to the skies toils no more, and
Moon's iredescence secrets doth unfold,
And all Heaven's mighty effulgent
Stars  undress no more us to behold.

WHEN I'M GONE
When I'm gone,
When my work is done,
To go meet the Almighty Lord,
At the other side of life's road.

The age to come will say:
"Unpopular he was during his day,
Though, great He was, now we see
It vividly as a star gazing about the sea.

A Poet he was with great poetry and prose,
Nighly akin to the scent of a Heaven's rose,
Thus a Genius whose rhyme
Shall perpetually transcend through time!"

NOSTALIGIC WHISPERS
(I)

Pale mulberry was the sky,
No bird dared to fly!
Thus all seemed wrong,
But then, you came along
Suddenly like summer rain
And quelled away my pain.

(II)

Velvet blue was the sky,
No bird dared not to fly!
Thus all seemed right,
And as pure as a cloud in white,
When suddenly like the rainbow,
You quelled away thy heavenly glow.

(III)

Dark grey is the sky,
No bird seems to ever fly!
Athwart my wild blue yonder
Where I, indignantly do ponder
Night and day wondering why,
We can't give it just one more try.

(IV)

Pitch black is always the sky,
But, faster than any bird I'll fly!
Swifter than a scudding cloud
Whilst calling upon you so loud,
All the way to a strange plain,
Just to ever feast about you again.

(V)

Magenta magic will always be the sky,
When once again we'll merilly fly!
Then, flowers once again shall bloom,
To see you and me as bride and groom
By a placid Mulberry Moon on the rise,
To kindle our enchanted paradise.

There was an aged man of Ghana,

#Nagana: A disease of cattle, antelope, and other livestock....
There was an old man who took a shower,
Naked in rain atop the city's tallest tower
Whilst performing somersaults
Of all unbelievable sorts.
That imprudent man who fell from the tower

Moral: Never fuss your sister.
There was a beauteous lass so quaint,
In a white dress adorned with mud paint.
But, once she ran out of mud
Paint, and thus became mad
When she thought never again to be quaint!

Akin to Edward Lear's Book Of Nonsense, in a jiffy I'm planning to come up with one as well. Its title being: "The 21st Century Book Of Nonsense" by Kiko, the bard of Nineva.
There was an old man with a novelty Bow,
Which bore all colours of the rainbow.
But Rats ran away with it,
Thus Rats he decided to eat.
Still he does, till they'll ever return his bow!

My Fairy
I have a Fairy that saith:
"Open shall be heaven's gate
To he who in the Lord has faith,
But doomed shall be the fate
To he who is evil after death.
Prepare for heaven before it's late
Coz as close as thy breath,
So is the doomsday date.

Plan well for the future,
So thou may dwell in realms
Of pleasant verdant pasture
And nectar flowing streams,
Whispering along with rapture
Of everlasting golden dreams."

Unloving thou is but Sisyphean,
Like scoria craves mixing with sea salt.
Thus akin to night and day we're but twins
Whose burning candle is never to halt.
But ever brighter than snow veiled mountains,
And perpetual as the golden Amaranth,
Yet as pure as heavens silver fountains,
Thrice fairer than the moon of the May month
Or the sea's mighty glow against the moonlight.
Always in full spate if she’d be a stream,
To draw us in a realm of sheer delight
Where daylight to fade shall be but a dream.

So true love is a gem precious than gold
Both young and old in their palm crave to hold.

MY DARLING'S EYES
My Darling's eyes:
Embers of molten gold,
An ocean of stars nigh,
Mine eyes dost behold.

My Darling's eyes:
A pulchritude cauldron
Akin to the skie's lanterns
Yet are but of chalcedony.

My Darling's eyes:
To be on the mark
Are but diamond dunes
If not a fountain of sparks!

My Darling's eyes:
Effulgent stars in a cluster
Swaddling velvet night skies
With celestial shore luster.

#Be on the mark is an idiom that refers to be accurate or correct.
In-between thy waking hours and sweet sleep,
May thee know, I'll always crave thee near.
Like a Shepherd doth crave nearing his sheep
Or like an ardent drinker to his beer.

Despite that our love was but love in vain,
You're like the cat that ate the canary.
But may thee know for I was but a swain,
Thus my love, safe grains in a granary.

In my heart, thee perdurably linger
Despite having thee back is but forlorn,
To no other lady I'll point my finger
But long for thy love, every night and morn.

So, in-between thy sleep and waking hours,
May thee know my love shall never sour!

HOW CAN I FORGET?
How can I forget
Thou art the apple of mine eye
But live to regret
We're but apples and oranges

How can I forget
That night, that day
But live to regret
A smiling lie danced my way

How can I forget
Thou art a lass so braw
But live to regret
There broke a drunken brawl

How can I forget
Such a twisted malady
But live to regret
For it costed my lady

Once upon a time
Lived a princess of golden hair
Fancied by creatures of every clime
For she was but so fair

One day whilst in a wood
There came an angel of death
smilingly disguised in a hood
Fervently craving her breath

Being in a deep slumber
She couldn't see this beast
For it thus marked a number
A death spell upon her wrist

Ding ****, castle bells rang
Slumbering she couldn't hear
Despite they were loudly bang
Soon the realm buzzed with fear

With a voice so hard and cold
Need her here! Roared the king
She's but more precious than gold
Said the queen! Thus you must bring

There were blowing of horns
By huntsmen alongside trumpets
Accompanied by crying of hounds
But still she was as deaf as a puppet

She'll never hear! Said one witch
Despite how loud you ring the bell
You must be daft! Insolent *****
Cried the queen! you deserve in hell

She has a death spell thus haunted
whilst simpering yelled another witch
Dummy gorgon! She must be hunted
Cried the king! Thus dare not screech

Soon she was found laying on grass
With not a single bone of her broken
Though she was as pale as a glass*
For her breath had been taken*

A Heart Of Mine You Torch!
Thou art not only more beauteous
Than effulgent night stars in a cluster
But thou art more pulchritudinous
Than the beauty of queen Sirius's luster

Every night whilst thou art sleeping
Like a thief in the dead of night
To thy slumber shade I come creeping
As to feast about thee glowing so bright

Sorry I am like lonely stars to the night
I can't help it spying oftenly upon thee
Just as an enemy keeps an eye to a knight
Or like an apiarist to the honey of a bee

Thus just like the morning dew to grass
My heart doth crave thy magical touch
Though to thee, I'm but not thy class
A heart of mine you torch!

A REFLECTION OF BEAUTY!
My queen,* *In the realm of beautifuls
Was but the fairest lady that ever walked
She who was as eye-popping as mew gulls

Her visage nothing but a complexion of roses
Beaming exquisitely with rainbow colours
A fire deep within my heart she'd arouse

She whose silvery smile could  unfurl
Like beauteous lotus blossoms in bloom
My heart deep within couldn't help it twirl

A queen with a gaily yet opalescent skin
As smooth as the blanket of the night skies
Blanketing her from the toes to the chin

And the fragrance about her breath
Could directly transport me to paradise
Whenever in her warm sweet embrace

Like whispering trees in a lonely breeze
Her voice was such soft and euphonious
Honestly, captivating yet bursting free

Whilst in darkness I craved not a lantern
For her starry eyes effulgently scintillated
With ethereal light that ceased not to stun

All birds in the heavens could cease to fly
Only to marvel at such novelty pulchritude
Whenever my queen dared to saunter by

Many said she ascended from the sky
Because once next to her you'd feel so
Yet some said from fairyland she did ply

Peerless was such my Queen's beauty
Thus all mankind, all animals and birds
Christened her
 "A reflection of beauty!"

ROBBED BY TIME
ROBBED BY TIME

Once upon a time,
A friend in need at all times,
Time was such my best friend
And so we hopped till the end.

To my castle he'd come,
For he was always welcome
Any time he ever wanted to,
Something my queen loved too.

We'd ramble woodland paths together
As he reeled off one story after another,
All day long having a good time
Till when castle bells could chime.

Time was not of this world,
But a great war lord
Of a very far away land,
King unto the realm of fairy land.

He who had a novelty crown
Bestowed upon him by a fairy clown,
A crown not of gold but of palest silver,
A precious gem from the fairyland silva.

With lurve in the air one morning,
My friendship with Time died aborning
When he chose to do something frivolous
Just when the Sun's rays were so glorious.

Time emblazed my heart,
Something that didst hurt
When he smiled unto my wife,
Such a great shock unto my life.

He gravitated towards her after a deep sigh,
Like a whirlwind, my mind whirled high.
He thus gallantly asked her for a dance,
And was granted a golden chance.

Keenly I watched this flint-hearted boy,
Thought him skint but feared not nor coy.
With alacrity and in broad day light
Together they cwtched in delight.

He whom I always enjoyed with the wine,
There enjoying with a queen of mine
Whilst committing mischief;
This friend of mine such a thief.

Time whispered thus into my Queen's ear,
Whispers I could hardly hear:
Alas! He promised her the moon
For they'd eloped by noon,

To places strange I might never have a clue,
To where mortals have never dared walk to,
All the way to the realm of fairy land,
Such, such a very far away land.

ONE DAY
One day* *in the dead of night
I'll be but shadows in light
Where I'll be more than free
Fervently you'll search for me

One day in the dead of night
You'll thus wander mazily in the dark
On roads of life which will ache
But I doubt you'll have me back

One day in the dead of night
You'll drown in star pools of light
Coz I'll be all thy heart shall crave
But then I'll be too deaf in a grave

One day in the dead of night
Fervently you'll wish having a sight
Sight at me but it'll be crystal clear
A word from me you'll never hear

One day in the dead of night
As a dive-dapper peers through the wave
Flaccid you'll stare at the infinite sky
Reminisce of mine infinite tenderness
Thus will be drawn to infinite oblivion

But most of all,

One day in the dead of night
As crystal clear as thy calcareous eyes
In-between thy sobs it'll dawn on thee
You must have been too young
To understand what love is
But its when you'll be old enough
To understand what love is

The spark in her eyes
A full orange moon
Hung upon the horizons
As we were quaffing ale,
Bleeding funny talk
And thrilling tales

She thus asked me
Why I could hardly look
Into her eyes for long?

And being enveloped
By timorous clouds
I could hardly say a word

For her eyes glowed like
"A couple of colliding galaxies"
Hence could hardly
Bear the light before me.

LOVE AT FIRST BLUSH
At the foot of the soft green hills
There she was putting on high heels
Resplendent like dahlias in a breeze
The sight before me had me freeze
Gallantly and as brave as a lion
Swiftly I gravitated on a stallion
Courageously explained how I felt
With a silvery smile she had me melt
Coyly gazed at me yet thunderstruck
Thus both of us were moonstruck
In a helter skelter dash, only to see
We were at the edge of a halcyon sea
Sauntered by whilst taking black tea
As the sun sunk yonder a black sea

Honestly, as ember heavens sleep

With whispers from the moon

A tale of love doves
Once,
Love doves
Deeply in love
Began to write
A lullaby in delight
Reflections of their history
Nothing but a fantastic story
Promises of being each other's number
One, always beside each other as they slumber
Whilst listening to dulcet tunes of harmony
Of Nightingales whispering a symphony
Giving each other a life of joy and laughter
Promising to love each other for ever after
To each others ***** embrace as to fly
Merrily towards velvet skies up so high
Only alone by themselves to a paradise
Where the sun doth beautifully rise
Upon streets paved with green and gold
Such ethereal pulchritude to behold
Surf evenings of carnal pleasures
Thus delve into all the worlds' treasures
Naked in the aura of the midnight luster
Undulating to the rhythm of stars in a cluster
Whilst lying on verdant greener grass
Under a silvery crystal clear moon as a glass
Neath sycamore shadows
Beside  beauteous meadows
Exploring moments to forever stay
And never to ever, ever fade away
Having a splash in a cool fresh stream
Of everlasting love now but a dream

Since one dove did fly away
Mercilessly to the very far away
Left the other to languish
In a world of relentless anguish
With a heart shattered beyond repair
Where he drowns in a sea of despair
Whilst reminiscing of a golden chance
Once he had tasting of sweetest romance,
Plus golden days and nights whilst together
In a paradise of exquisite pleasant weather

And high above frisky clouds
Stars now come in crowds
Painting their history
Now but a mystery

Left with nothing, as he prays
Whilst gazing at leafy sprays
Extremely lovingly embellished
Inscribed with poems she relished
He thus feels the pain
Alone in the heavy rain
And nothing but tears
Drenching him in fear
Whilst sitting underneath the sycamore
Longing for his love now and forevermore

However, serendipitously one night
Whilst drenched in despair, an ethereal of light
Appeared, touched his heart with Hope
Shadows of fear, afraid of light couldn't cope
Mustered courage to go beyond all measures
Neath to the Atlantis for his lost treasure

Thus like Pluto, distant from the sun
Relationships he chose to shun

Only longing for his only dove
She who was but his true love

Not so many moons ago,
Thy starry eyes once saw me as a lover
Funny how now glare at me

Funny how now I'm deafened

Not so many moons ago,
Thy smile was but a rose in bloom
Funny how now it's but
Wilted marigolds and mimossas

Not so many moons ago,

Funny how now calloused

Funny how now dark is thy soul
Darker than a moonless night

THEN I WOKE UP
Behind sullen doors
Taking a deep slumber
A slumber in a somber shade
I heard faint euphonious whispers
Whispers from nearby woods
Thus lured to wake up
As to gravitate on yonder
To where I was embraced with
Ultimate darkness darker than
A lonely silent grave
Though sauntered by gallantly

Out of kilter was the avenue
Hence wandered whilst wondering
If I could at least find a way
My way back home
Though all in vain
But as luck would have it,
Darkness commenced fading
And in a mean time it dawned

Oh how I longed to hear
Hear early songbirds
Whisper the dawn chorus
But not a single bird chirped

Only to peer through stunted trees
Yonder edge of the mystique woods
Than when I feasted on a sea
A halcyon sea which sparked
Magnificently whilst kissed by rays
Rays of an arresting dawn sun

Oh how I longed to hear
Hear the sound of waves
Splash about my feet
As I stood by the sea shore
But not a single wave ebbed

Whilst flaccidly sobbing in dismay
Serendipitously there I beheld
Beheld a ship amid the sea
Beauteously alluring yet distant
Though couldn’t help it swim
Swim towards such a marvel
And at some length,
There I was onboard

Oh how I longed to rise
Raising her sails as to set sail
But no winds were there
To render me set sail

By a strange dark fate
A great crash of thunder
Came from the purple clouds
And crashed in the skies
Thus lightening flickered
Split up the sky in half
And lit up the vast heaving
Waste of grey black sea
And in a mean time,
For it began down pouring
With stinging rain that fell
Every now and again
Thus everything on the ship
Began to fall about
Though at great length,
For it ceased raining

Oh how I longed for a companion
Whilst quivering at the restless sea
But not a single dolphin could jump
Out of water whilst I sailed on yonder

The sun was now almost gone
And the first star was shining bright
Just me alone, on the mighty sea,
On a voyage, on a quest for the unknown
Just sailing by and by with a lull stiff breeze
To where the sea seamed kissing the skies
As the clouds sailed athwart the moon

Oh how I longed taking a sight
Sight at land where I could seek shelter
But not a single island was there
For me to feast about

By serendipity’s sake,
Soundly I fell into a deep slumber.
Only to wake up,
Not far off were islands
On yonder amid the sea
Blue and misty in the distance
Thus swiftly drifted yonder
Sailed ashore to glamorous shores
Where I was welcomed by sea gulls
Big white gulls that swooped around me
Carried me to the queen of the realm
A queen whose beauty was nothing but
A reflection of novelty pulchritude
Pulchritudinous than any creature
My poor eyes had ever feasted on
A queen with starry bewitching eyes
Long curling glossy auburn hair
An opalescent skin which beamed
With magnificence of a sea
Kissed by the dawn sun

Oh how my eyes beamed with sheer joy
Feasting about such a beauty
That never ceased stunning me
But not a single creature around grinned

No sooner had I sat onto her marble
A glamorous marble beside her porch
With my chin on my knuckles
Whilst narrating to her my indelible adventure
Than when she busted into squeals of laughter
Clasped her snowy hands to my *****
And there was a creek
Like a galleon beating against a gale

**Then I woke up
Not a pie in the sky just like i depicted it but an imaginary scene im still garnishing with the best of stunning imagery as to embed it to my adventurous movie script by the title of "Chronicles Of King Kiko"
An adventurous script pervaded with excruciatingly exquisite stunning imagery which never cease to stun whoever lends me his or her ears.

Only If I Could
I'd put on a pilgrim's mantel,
Journey along to the far wild;
Break through thorny thickets
And twigs across the wilderness,
To where humans dwell not,
To a world of savage animals;
Right through jaws of death,
Trudge through barren valleys,
Cimb soaring mountains before me,
Dash through mystique woods,
Woods darker than a lonely grave;
Whilst buffeted by wild branches,
Wend along wildest river banks,
Where early boughs grow wild and rank,
Stumble through murky waters,,
See beyond bounds of mortal men,
Trudge yonder a wide strange plain,
To fair lands of the emeralds,
Where dawn songbirds perpetually
Croon nature's symphonies,
Where trumpeters, taborers
Harpists and fiddlers
Play the loveliest melodies,
Soothing melodies trapped
In proverbial winds of time,
Where the meanest castle pillar
Is not of silver
But of fairest gold.
A realm of only beauty to behold,
A realm of everlasting youth,
A realm of opalescent skies,
A realm where the sun doth rise,
In the sheer corner of paradise
Just to catch a glimpse
At thy physiognomy
*Only if I could

At The Sea (Nonet)
At the sea, on the run, on a quest
On a sailing ship decamping
Sailing far to the very end
To the end of the world
Only to free my soul
On a quest for
The unknown

At the
Sea

#Nonet poem

I'm alone at crossroads wandering
But its time to dream a new dream
Spread my wings and fly again
So high like an eagle
Only to seek release
From unfairness
Please dear God
Bless my
Soul

My head
There is
a mountain,
a retrospection-capped mountain
amid desolate lands marred with despair.
A mountain enveloped by
gloomy nostalgic clouds
with the coldness of confusion
relentlessly swirling in the air
whilst brazen bells ring reality
to announce the conqueror dawn.
A mountain nothing but
*my head

Butterfly of mine
As luck would have it,
there she was
peeking just around the corner
from behind the moon
breathing softly
but breathing love

As luck would have it,
for she smiled at me
and every time she smiled
God spoke through her eyes
conveying everything
through her eyes

As luck would have it,
her visage of gold beamed
with chalcedony colors
that pierced through my heart
and I couldn't help it
exuberantly smile with sheer joy
every now and again

As a strange dark fate had it,
it dawned on me
she was discreetly decamping
fading yonder onyx skies
leaving me a desolate
down the dumps
and a lonesome wanderer
only wishing to ever
catch her glimpse

Tale Of A lone bird
I’m*  *a bird once broken winged, afraid of rain and
Frozen,  but I learnt flying with a single wing
In  heavy rains every time it rained till when
Time  *quelled & consigned my worries to oblivion

Don't you? Though that's why i really
Miss you terribly and i'll always miss

Love can be strange
Starry
Night gazed at me
Whilst sobbing in dismay
And I still felt replenished by
Her tears

Essence Of Love
Love is nothing but
a nicely penned palindrome poem
that needs not to be plagiarized
as it will loose its allure

Serendipitously there she was
Peeking just around the corner,
From behind the moon;
Breathing softly, but
Breathing

Love.

Breathing,
But softly breathing;
The moon behind, from
The corner around just peeking;
Was she there serendipitously?
#palindrome

A palindrome is a word, phrase, number or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward or forward.
It was coined by the English playwright Ben Johnson in the 17th century from the Greek roots palin ("again") and dromos
("way, direction")

Lost it all in one day
I had the best
The very best of everything
Everything I ever dreamt of
Not until there came a day
A day when clouds of hate
Like a thief in the silent night
Sailed athwart my wild blue yonder
Obliterated my beauteous rainbow
A rainbow which never ceased to stun
And in a blink of an eye
Scudded away with her

DOLDRUMS
Ahem! My name is Doldrums
The mighty perdurable king of kings

King to the realm of despair
Loneliness is my lovely queen

So far we’re blessed with three kids
Our first born was christened heartache

The second born retrospections
And the last born nostalgia

We dwell in a beauteous wonderland
A world with beauteous flowers
Flowers that all bloom no more

A world with amazing rivers
Rivers that all ceased to flow

A world with emerald forests
Forests where birds never chirp

A world blessed with plenty of streams
Streams that all dried up

A world with eye popping mountains
Mountains that all crumbled to dust

A world blessed with soft rains
Rain that rains no more

A world with beautiful starry lit deserts
Deserts where you’ll find not a single oasis

A world with beauteous emerald islands
Islands all marred with despair hence desolate

A world blessed with myriads of stars
Effulgent stars that all ceased scintillating

A world blessed with beautiful seas
Seas where you’ll find not a single fish

*A world enveloped with glamorous clouds
Dark clouds of hate scudding
Athwart our wild blue yonder
Hence it never dawns

ATOP THE STARS
Like an ***** addict
I was addicted to your eyes
Eyes which did spark
Spark like clusters of stars
On a moonless night

Like an ***** addict
I was addicted to the luster
The luster about your skin
A skin pale unblemished
Gaily yet opalescent as an opal

Like an ***** addict
I was addicted to your lips
Lips so sweet as nectar
Nectar distilled from
All flowers of heaven

Like an ***** addict
I was addicted to your voice
A voice so fresh
And euphonious like
Whispers of a nightingale

But most of all

Like an ***** addict
I was addicted to your love
A love so indelible to me
Love that had me glance
Past beyond

Atop the stars
