The Day Of The Woman
JaxSpade Mar 2020
A woman

Soft slow
Sleek

A flower
A bird
With angels wings

Oh how i love the way she is

A woman

Loving
Tender
Feminine

Oh how i love the legs
Of a woman
And how she curves
Around me

A woman
A beautiful
Energy

I can't live without her

Without her I need

A woman

A woman for me

For the scent of a woman
Is a sensual breeze
I inhale the moments
She spends with me

A woman

Oh how lovely
She is made

For a man to notice
She's everything

A woman
A woman so great

A man should treat her
Better than he

Because she's a woman

She's a mother
Yet a lover to me

She's a woman
A super human
With a beautiful face

And oh how I love her every way
She's a woman
A woman

So great

She's too pretty
For an old shoe
A walk in the park
    With an old sole

She's much too beautiful
For a gray sky
Much too...

For an old soul

              Pretty

For a silver moon
           Candlelight
           And a heart
                   Blue

She's much too everything
                 Yesterday knew

     For an old fool
A shot in the dark
By a sparks mood

She's much too pretty
For an old youth
   An old song
That was new

Pretty for...

           You

           Know
The way she eyes
Your old heart

             Inside

                    You know
She's much too pretty
To like

Beautiful
For a rusted mind
       Too everything
For what you might

Consider alright

   Pretty

Man I look alone
Walking blindly

Heading for the stones
      Into the graveyards

Blindly digging deeper
Under a demons spell

Right in my front

I told her if I was the virus
she'd just been infected with a new one

She said she loved injections

I told her I was a doctor
And i could give her one
If she'd just be patient

My patient

Some girl in the park
Short skirt mini top
And a great conversationalist

~Then I coughed....

I realized the democrats
Must have sent this beeyootch

She probably drinks andrenochrome
For all I know
She was sent to infect
Me with some COVID *** foam
At my mouth
How many weeks does it take
To get it out

The Way Out
JaxSpade Oct 2018
The road ended
Without a foot forward
The path was gone
And the only thing possible
                Was to turn around

Looking into the past
I see the foot prints tracked
And memories laid
        On the ground

Without a foot forward
I didn't want to go back
And I didn't know where to look

How could I go forward
If I don't know which way i'm facing

So I stood there contemplating erasing
The existence I am chasing

I wished I could've been someone amazing
A man on a path to somewhere that didn't end
In waiting

The road ended
And I'm standing here
In the same place
Pretending
Everything is going to be alright

But no one is around
And I keep hearing the same
Myself

And I'm left with only one choice
To make it
              Out

Kneeling at the cross
My thoughts came across
All the battles I lost

I thought about my wisdom
And how it lacked the actions
Of a Christian

And how much my sins have cost
With none paid off

I asked the Savior into my heart
So he could pay
What I don't got

I prayed to God
That he would listen
So I could follow his mission
And submit everything I was missing

What was I missing

I searched my soul
And studied harder than before
Until I found out it was myself

I wasn't giving
My all

Taking up the cross
And carrying it along
No matter how far
The pain or scars

There is a heavenly
Reward

If you can obtain the faith
Of a Lord

So great

He gave his life
So you could have yours

Kneeling at the cross
I thanked the Big Boss
For sacrificing himself

For the world

I asked for help
Because I can't do this by myself

And I prayed for you as well
Because I want you to reside in heaven
Not hell

If you just believe
You can. Trust and see

There is a way out

Crime
In the city
It finds time
To plenty

It takes no pity
When it steals
Your pennies

It lies
In the cheats

It cheats in the lies

Eyes repeat
What it needs
To survive

In the streets

Crime eats
It devours greed
At the speed
Lust bleeds

I see it creep
And speak through teeth

In the cities
In every state
It breeds politicians
And news fake

Crime
In the deepest state of mind
In the city
In your lives

It climbs at a rate
Too high to take
When we find
It's committed
By the ones we've paid

Crime
Is something
We know

Won't ever go away

Her eyes

And the radio in the background

Smooth jazz

The summer heat

        And melt two hearts

In the beats brass
Curves would
           Smack

And She
Would ask

   For more

Smooth jazz
Played
As our bodies
Wrapped in braids

                    Amore

A groove
  A sound

           Of two lovers
In a tune they found

Dancing and singing
        Enjoying laughs
The way she moved
When she walked past

I just had to have

              That
Smooth Jazz

And those eyes that kiss mine back

      Mmm... The brass
When the horns blast
And the finished past

We lay there together
In a world that's ours
Two lovers sharing scars

So we just turn up the volume
To drown out the problems
Then kick back
         And relax

With a little smooth jazz
Some curves and hands
You and I
Could be our own band

We'll have our own razzmatazz
Extravagance and coolness
Others don't have

The way she moved
I didn't know what to do

But grab

After a slap
She kissed me back
And love was daft

She held in her arms
Corner to corner

A picture of a cat
Staring into a lonely old road

Was I the cat

I told her to leave it on the wall
It was a work of art
And It made everyone who saw it

The poetry it read
Was a bouquet of words interpreted
By the imagination of each photograph

She left it on the wall

But it was more than just a decoration

When we first met
And our eyes drank enough to make us sick
We fell on the floor of what the future did

Swallowing us whole
And devouring years
Somehow all the good times
Disappeared

Who knew that day was cursed
For the better of the worst

We vowed that forever
Was just a lonely word

When we first met
We believed in dreams
          And togetherness

But it all left in a heart beats
Bitterness

When we first met
We never knew
This would be the end

And we never should have started
What we began

Now we stand alone
Away from the home

We used to love
                To live

When we first met
We couldn't see

Because we were...

And the paper was a skin pink

Splattered all over the earth
I began my search
Picking up the pieces
Of any kind of word

I was looking for one
That would cut like a sword
But i was so desperate
I just picked up as much as I could hoard

I had to find some storage
Because there's not a whole lot of space
Upstairs

I didn't get discouraged

I decided to put them in poems
So they could flourish

The only problem was
No would read them
because they were too boring

And that was end of my beloved vocabulary
The words died
Without even being buried

So I went to the cliff
And i dove into the abyss

Because I'd rather be dead
Than to be without poetry

How did it all turn out

Did you dare to be happy
Have comforted yourself
Did you find your smile
Are you comfortable now
Did you revel in success
Did you buy the biggest house
Have you made yourself beautiful
Did you expand your wealth
Are you happy
With how everything turned out
Do you have enough

What do you want now ?

Do you have enough
With how everything turned out
Are you happy
Did you expand your wealth
Have you made yourself beautiful
Did you buy the biggest house
Did you revel in success
Are you comfortable now
Did you find your smile
Have you comforted yourself
Did you dare to be happy

How did it all turn out

She wore these glass slippers
That matched her dress

And I could see through her transparent zippers

Her flesh

She revealed her beauty concealed
Behind a wide smile
While her eyes killed

And she smelled like a lilac kiss

She must've read my mind
Because she knew my wish

As we slide across the ballroom dance
We marinated in the romance

But after the song dissolved
The clock struck twelve

And she left

Glass Slipper Girl

I told her it was her eyes i liked
And the way her hair shone in the sunlight

But I lied

It was her lips
And the way she kissed
That left me weak in the knees
And made my heartbeat quick

I liked the feel of her waist
Even better than way she'd taste

Feeling her curves
Pressing against my nerves
While i was lost in her gaze

Into my ears
I heard a soft whisper

She said she loved the way i danced with her

That night at the ball
After midnight would fall
She'd be gone

Less a glass slipper

Here come the handcuffs
I guess my words were too strong
For your weakness

Are you in fear how I speak this

Perhaps you need to censor
The whole **** ship

I saw a man steal the paint
Off another mans palette
Because he didn't like his story
Or the way he'd tell it

Imagine the art you make
And having another man
Tell you how to sell it

Here come the handcuffs
Take creativity and lock it up
It must be a crime to be so passionate

Make it do time
With all the other rhymes

That were just too much

For another mans mind
To respect

The Sinners Grief

It wasn't my life
There was nothing here for me
To call my own

Just a pile of years
Cluttered with time
Spending my fear

Begging for a home

They were never my possessions
All i ever owned was the obsession
Yeah I owned a few prayers
But no one would ever listen

It wasn't my life
It was always his right
To treat me like a *****
And pet my head lice

I was caught off guard
And I lost the good fight
Because i was caught
Like a deer in the headlights

Frozen in time
Wondering why
This light is so bright

It wasn't my life
I would never create an image of me
Alike

It was always his
To take or give
Day or night

It never was mine
And now he'll take it back
For I gladly surrender it outright

It wasn't my life
When the Lord
Cut the silver cord
With his knife

It was always his right
To create the story he likes
And even though I may not
Like the story he writes

If I don't obey and abide
I won't be by his side
And I can't be one of his Israelites

But it was always his
It was never my life
To give or sacrifice

I'm just a man
Caught in a history
Given a gift of life's misery

It remains a mystery
How a life that is given
To live in a world of sinning
Could be offered an infinity

I'm sorry Lord
I apologize
But It was never my life

You gave

It was always yours
So I lay it at your door
Now I'll rest in peace
And say my goodbye

To what was never mine
